FINGERPRINT LOCK
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Please read instructions before use.
The functions and design of this product can be changed without prior notice for performance and quality improvement.

TIPS:

1. This lock is equipped with mechanical keys for manual unlocking. Remove mechanical keys from the package and keep them in a safe place and always have access to them.
2. To power on the lock, four alkaline AAA batteries are required. Non-alkaline and rechargeable batteries are not recommended. If not used for a long time, please remove the battery.
3. This lock is not designed to be exposed to direct sunlight or rain. lt is not water proof lP rated.
4. Keep your fingers clean when using this lock.

TIPS:

1. Install the square bar onto the latch, and get the cables through the middle of square bar.
2. Be sure to insert the square bar into the front handle to correct the clutch before turning the mechanical key.
3. Fix the rear fixing plate, front handle with two screws on the door.

Measure the Door Size

TIPS:

1. Available door thickness 35mm/1.38″-55mm/
2. 16″. If the door is over this range, please contact us for more information.
3. Please select the correct accessories according to your door thickness.

① Fix the strike plate with 2 screws on the door frame.
“Free Passage” button (See P.6) & “Anti-Lock” button (See P.7)

Check Points After Installation

1. The face plate is horizontal with the door.
2. The Latch bolt must works smoothly and flexibly!
3. Please make sure the cable will not be pressed.
4. Fix the handle with two screws, and check if it works fine.
5. Install the batteries, and cover the battery cover.

※Voice guidance function: The lock provides voice guidance for user and it will be helpful to set up locks features correctly.
TIPS:

1. Firstly touch the panel to wake up the lock before any operation with touch-control area.
2. Any fingerprint or initial test passcode (123456#) can unlock it if no user is enrolled.
3. If the lock beeps 3 times,the red light goes on then turns steady green light, and the unlocking fails, please try again.

After unlocking for 5S, the device will auto lock.

TIPS:

1. When the battery is low, the indicator will blink red light. The rest power could only be used for about 30 times.
2. When the battery is out of power, you can unlock the door with key, or supply the lock with power through the micro-USB port and use fingerprint or password to unlock it.

※Administrator: The first 3 users are administrators, the 4th or more users are normal users.
TIPS:
Only the first administrator’s setting is different from others. For example, if you set a “fingerprint” as the first user, the following users, whether it’s a fingerprint or a password or IC card, should be set by following the “Step 2” , “Step 3” or “Step 4”.
How to add the first user: (can be fingerprint, password or IC card)
Step 1: Adding the First User / Master

Notes:
The same fingerprint has to learn multiple angles, a total of 5 times.
Multiple fingerprints can be recorded by the same person.
Keep the system fingerprint reader clean. Users fingerprints should not be too wet/dry.
The elderly and children fingerprints may change over time, so please re- register them from time to time.
How to add other users：
Step 2: Adding Other Fingerprints

Notes:

1. Keep the password the same while input twice, the valid password length is 6-10 digits.
2. Unlock with Fake Code: user can prevent pin code exposure from strangers by entering random digits before or after pin code.The total password length is with in 16 digits.

Step 4: Adding IC card

Adjusting the Volume (Default: Highest Volume)

Language set (Default: English)

How to delete users(Factory reset)
When lock is reset to factory defaults all user codes (All fingerprints/ paddcode/ IC cards will be deleted) are deleted and all programming features are reset to original default settings.

Notes Press the reset button on the back handle for 1 second，verify administrator, can quick add user.

Free Passage” Mode Setting (Default: Auto Lock)

TIPS:

1. Repeat Method 1 or Method 2 to switch from “Free Passage” Mode to “Auto Lock” Mode, and vice versa.
2. Any valid user to unlock the door, it will switch to “Auto Lock” Mode.

How to turn on/off anti-lock feature

Notes:

• Repeat the operation to turn off the anti-lock function.
• After locking, the first three groups of administrators can unlock normally, meanwhile the anti-lock function is turned off.
• The ordinary users can not unlock and prompt: “system locked”.

Q&A

1. Why anyone's fingerprints can unlocked the lock?

The newly arrived fingerprint lock is an automatic program, all fingerprints can unlock under this program, you need to add the administrator fingerprint before continuing the subsequent programming. Note: If the fingerprint addition fails, the program will not be canceled, please re-add the fingerprint.

2. Why does it keep failing when adding a password?

Password must be 6-10 digits to take effect.

3. After installing the fingerprint lock, what should I do if the keyboard light of the fingerprint lock does not light up?

It is possible that the connection cable is squeezed during installation, resulting in poor contact. Please adjust the position of the connection cable appropriately.

4. Why do I keep getting an error when I recognize my fingerprint?

When adding fingerprints, try to ensure that multiple areas of the finger are read.

5. Why does the fingerprint lock not automatically lock after unlocking?

6. When I use my fingerprint or passcode to unlock, the green light is on but I can't unlock it normally.

It may be that the center of the lock cylinder is not positioned correctly when you reinstall it, you can readjust it and try again.

Safety and Warning

• Do not install the digital door lock in an outdoor environment.

• Do not attempt to disassemble the digital door lock by your self.
  By doing so, you may get an electronic shock and damage the product.

• Do not use force with a tool onto the product.

• Make sure to lock the door tight when you go out.

• Be careful not to hit the handle as it may cause injuries.

• Do not use water and any type of solvent to clean the product such as gasoline or benzene as they can cause damage to electronic circuit, deterioration and or paint peel-off.

• It is recommended to change User Code on a regular basis.

• In manual lock mode, make sure to double check whether the door is securely locked.

• Do not use rechargeable batteries. Only alkaline batteries are recommended.

• Make sure to follow the above instructions to avoid any injuries.

• It cannot be guaranteed in a special conditions & environment such as water condensation, seaside.
