5G12-13W-B FastMile 5G Gateway

Download the mobile app
If it is the first time you power your FastMile 5G Gateway, please download the
Nokia WiFi App to your phone or tablet to configure your device.
Please create your account and scan the device QR code as described in next
step.
Scan the QR code
Use the in-app QR code scanner to read the QR code located either on the top
of the giftbox or on the bottom of the gateway.
The App guides you through all the steps necessary to setup your gateway.
Alternatively, you can setup your device by following the steps below.
Insert SIM card
Unbox and place your FastMile 5G Gateway in an area with few obstructions,
ideally near a window. Make sure there is a nearby power outlet.
If not pre-installed by your service provider, remove the SIM tray and place
the SIM card securely in the tray and reinsert it into the gateway.
Power on
Plug in the power adaptor and then connect it to your gateway. Push the on/off
button, the LEDs on the topof the gateway will turn on.
Your Nokia 5G Gateway will start to search best 5G connectivity.
Search best 5G connectivity
The gateway will boot up and begin searching the for a 5G signal. The status LED inthe middle and 5G LED will start blinking.
The signal search will take few minutes.
Check status lights
When the status LED is green, you are connected to the 5G or 4G network. The 5G LED will iluminate if a 5G network is found. Next three LEDs are indicating the signal strength.
When all three are on there is a very good signal, two LEDs means good and one LED means weak signal.
Relocate if signal is poor
You might want to reposition the gateway if 5G signal LED is off, or signal
strength is weak.
Power off the gateway and try to move it to a better location, e.g. closer to a
window, the other side of the appartment or a higer position.
You are almost there…
Once you’ve got a good signal, it’s recommended that you do not repositionthe gateway.
Connect to Wi-Fi
Connect devices to your gateway using the SSID and Wi-Fi key printed on the bottom of the device.
It is recommended to change WiFi password for your security.
