Light Switch Settings and Fuses
- Light switch settings
- Knob position 0: +58 (Front parking lights – Dashboard light)
- Knob position I: +58 + 56b (Front parking lights – Dashboard light – Low-beam headlights)
- Knob position II: +58 + 56a (Front parking lights – Dashboard light – High-beam headlights)
Fuses
- Fuse 56b: (8 amp.) Low-beam headlights use 56a: (8 amp.) High-beam headlights use 58/2: (8 amp.)
- The front parking light, left-hand side fuse 58/1: (8 amp.) The front parking light, right-hand side
- Fuse 15/54: (8 amp.) Fuel level gauge and its control – Battery charging tell-tale lamp
- Fuse 30: (16 amp.) Regulation unit, The circuits of the following equipment are not protected by fuses: Generator – Starter
The document provides detailed settings for the light switch, including the knob positions and corresponding equipment activated. It also lists the fuses required for various components and their amperage ratings.
Special Dashboard Instruments
- Features 10 different scales, with 7 indicating speed in mph corresponding to tractor gearbox speeds, and 3 for P.T.O. shaft revolutions and belt pulley revolutions. An hour meter is integrated, measuring hours for every 1450 x 60 revolutions of the engine.
Thermometer
- Displays water temperature with readings subdivided into three colored sectors: blue, green, and red. The green area indicates normal operating temperature between 167°F + 41°F and 203°F + 37°F.
Pressure Gauge
- Measures engine lubricating oil pressure with readings also in three colored sectors: red, green, and red. The green area shows normal operating pressure between 28 to 32 lb/sq.in. and 53 to 57 lb/sq.in.
- Details on the tachometer, thermometer, and pressure gauge are provided, including their scales, colors, and what their readings indicate.
Dashboard Instruments View
Figure 9 shows a labeled diagram of the dashboard instruments, including the fuel level gauge (A), multi-meter (B), generator charge indicator (C), engine oil pressure gauge (D), and engine cooling water temperature gauge (E).
Operating the Light-Switch and Electric Horn
Figure 10 illustrates the operation of the light switch and electric horn, showing a hand turning the light switch located on the tractor’s steering column.

Light switch settings
Special dashboard-mounted instruments
- The Tachometer with 10 different scales; seven of which give the speed in miles per hour corresponding to the tractor gearbox speeds, and the remaining 3 give the P.T.-O. shaft revolutions, as well as the belt pulley and crankshaft revolutions.
- Allowance for values read on the last three scales is of # 30 revolutions as an average. Tractor speeds correspond to those read on the gauge when 14-28 tires are fitted to the rear wheel; in the case of 14-30 tires add 4% to the reading, and for 14.9/13-28 subtract 3%.
- The instrument is equipped with an hour meter driven from the injection pump drive coupling (1, fig. 3) and set for 1450 r.p.m. of engine crankshaft (i.e., it reads 1 hour for every 1450 x 60 = 87.000 revolutions of the engine).
- The thermometer gauge gives the water temperature and has the readings subdivided into three colored sectors: blue, green, and red. The green area corresponds to the normal operating temperature included between 167 1 41° F and 203 # 37° F.
- The pressure gauge for the engine lubricating oil pressure with readings is also subdivided into three colored sectors: red, green, and red.
- The green area corresponds to the normal operating pressure ranging between 28 to 32 Ib/skin. (2 ÷ 3 kg/cm) and 53 to 57 lb./sq.in. (3,7 4 kg/cm*).
