Troubleshooting Guide

Programming the pedals

The pedals actually respond to commands in the game. By default for example if you press the accelerator pedal it is like pressing the RB/R2 button and for the brake pedal it is like pressing the LB/L2 button. However, some games use other buttons than the default ones to accelerate and brake. In this case, you have to reprogram the steering wheel buttons.
You then have 2 solutions:

  1. (Preferable solution) In the gamepad control menu assign the acceleration function to the RB/R2 button and the brake function to the LB/L2 button. Save and every time you play the pedals will be set up correctly.
  2. Solution 2: First, identify which button you are accelerating with in the game (using a joystick, for example the X button). Press the PROG button on the steering wheel, then the right pedal (the LED will flash slower) and then the button you want to assign to the function (e.g. X) so that when you accelerate it will be like pressing the X button.
Do the same with the left pedal which you assign to the button that corresponds to the brake in the game. This method is not saved in the wheel and you will have to do it again each time you restart the game. This is why we recommend the first method.
If you have a steering wheel option in the game, disable it and make sure that the controller option is enabled.

Programming the paddles and shifter

The following method is the same for the paddles and the gearshift lever.
The paddles actually respond to the slack control. By default, for example, if you press the right paddle, it is like pressing the R1/RB button and for the left paddle, it is like pressing the L1/LB button. However, some games use other  buttons than the default ones for shifting gears. In this case, you need to reprogram the steering wheel buttons.
You then have 2 solutions:

  1. (Preferred solution) In the game’s controller menu, assign the R1/RB button to shift up and the L1/LB button to shift down. Save and every time you play, the pedals will be set up correctly.
  2. Solution 2: First, identify which button you are shifting up with in the game (using a joystick for example the △ button). Press the PROG button on the steering wheel, then press the right paddle (the LED flashes slower) and then  press the button you want to assign (△) so that when you press the right paddle it looks like you have pressed the relevant button. Do the same with the left palette and assign it to the correct button. This method is not saved in the  wheel and you will have to do it again each time you restart the game. This is why we recommend the first method.
If you have a steering wheel option in the game, disable it and make sure that the controller option is enabled.

Calibration and sensitivity adjustment for SV750 / GS850-X

  1. Adjusting the sensitivity of the steering wheel :
The steering wheel sensitivity setting is designed to adapt your driving to the game environment you are playing in. To change the sensitivity, press the “OPTION” and “SHARE” buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. The LED will  light up green. Then release the buttons. Press the “SHARE” button again to deactivate the sensitivity already set. Press the “SHARE” button several times to select the desired sensitivity, the flashing green LED will indicate the various sensitivities.
    • Low sensitivity, the green LED flashes slowly: the rotation amplitude is normal, suitable for most racing games.
    • Medium sensitivity, the green LED flashes steadily: the rotation amplitude is reduced, perfect for racing games with many turns.
    • High sensitivity, green LED flashes quickly: the rotation amplitude is short, ideal for tight turns

  2. You can also adjust the sensitivity of the “joystick” directly in the game by going to the game options.
Go to the game’s “controls/gameplay” tab, then in the controller menu, adjust the joystick sensitivity, this will also adjust the steering wheel sensitivity.

  3. Advanced settings:
You can adjust the sensitivity of the steering wheel in the advanced settings of some (advanced controller settings).
Indeed some games like Forza allow a multitude of settings of the controller, here is a configuration you can try to reduce the dead zones: low limit steering: 10 (the lower the limit, the more reactive the steering wheel is) high  steering limit: 100 low acceleration limit: 10 (the lower the limit, the more responsive the acceleration) high acceleration limit: 30 low deceleration limit: 5 high deceleration limit: 25
