Product Usage Instructions

Step 1: Preparation

Before using the Nail Gun Insert, ensure that you have the following:

  • Nail gun (gas or battery-actuated)
  • Pole (if planning to install from the floor)
  • Junction boxes, electrical boxes, or cable trunking to be fastened
  • nVent CADDY Metal Pressure Clip (compatible with the Nail Gun Insert)

Step 2: Attaching the Nail Gun Insert

To attach the Nail Gun Insert, follow these steps:

  1. Make sure the nail gun is turned off and disconnected from any power source.
  2. Locate the nozzle of the nail gun.
  3. Align the Nail Gun Insert with the nozzle and firmly clip it onto the nozzle.
  4. Ensure that the Nail Gun Insert is securely attached and does not move or wobble.

Step 3: Fastening Junction Boxes, Electrical Boxes, or Cable Trunking

Once the Nail Gun Insert is attached, follow these steps to fasten the desired objects:

  1. Position the nail gun with the Nail Gun Insert at the desired location for installation.
  2. If using a pole for hands-off installation, ensure that the pole is securely held.
  3. Aim the nail gun at the target object (junction box, electrical box, or cable trunking).
  4. Press the trigger of the nail gun to release the nail and secure the object in place.
  5. Repeat the process for each desired installation location.

Step 4: Removing the Nail Gun Insert

When you have completed your installations, follow these steps to remove the Nail Gun Insert:

  1. Turn off and disconnect the nail gun from any power source.
  2. Gently unclip the Nail Gun Insert from the nozzle of the nail gun.
