Congratulations on purchasing the REAL-EL surge protector! The RS-8 Protect
surge protector is designed for connection of electrical appliances to the
electrical network and their protection from a pulse overvoltage. It features
a cable made of pure copper without the use of alloys, sockets with grounding
and protective shutters, and a built-in surge protection device.
Safety Precautions
- Do not exceed the maximum input voltage specified.
- Do not use the surge protector if it is damaged or shows signs of wear.
- Do not attempt to repair the surge protector yourself.
- Connect the surge protector to a grounded electrical network.
Product Usage Instructions
Connection
- Plug the surge protector into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Connect your electrical appliances to the surge protector’s sockets.

Operation

APPLICATION
The RS-8 Protect surge protector is designed for connection of electrical
appliances to the electrical network and their protection from an pulse
overvoltage.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
- Do not connect the surge protector to the electrical network with overrating voltage.
- Do not connect the load to the surge protector with the total power, which exceeds the power indicated in specifications of this device.
- Do not use the surge protector in places with possible ingress of liquid,moisture, dust and high temperature exposure.
- Do not open and do not make any repairs by yourself.
- Connect the surge protector to the grounded electrical network.
CONNECTION
- Connect equipment to surge protector sockets.
- Connect the surge protector to 230 V electrical network, turn on the master switch.
OPERATION
- Do not overload the surge protector by connection of several powerful devices.
- On operation of the automatic fuse due to the overload, turn on the surge protector once more in 5-10 minutes after reduction of the total connected load to a permissible limit. For this purpose, turn the power switch.
- If high-voltage impulses or intolerable high voltage occurs at the surge protector input, the built-in emergency protection can disconnect the surge protector completely. The surge protector operation with the partial or complete resource loss of the surge protector components is intolerable.
