Product Usage Instructions

Step 1: Choose the Correct Size

The nominal diameter of the product is 9-12 mm. Select the appropriate size based on your ear canal size:

  • H=23 M=19 L=16 (Size M)

Step 2: Insert the Earplugs

Follow these steps to properly insert the earplugs:

  1. Clean your hands to ensure hygiene.
  2. Gently roll the earplug between your fingers to compress it.
  3. Reach over your head with one hand and pull your ear up and back to straighten the ear canal.
  4. With your other hand, insert the compressed earplug into the ear canal.
  5. Hold the earplug in place for a few seconds to allow it to expand and create a comfortable seal.

Step 3: Verify Proper Fit

After inserting the earplugs, ensure they are properly fitted:

  • They should fit snugly in the ear canal without causing discomfort.
  • Noise should be significantly reduced when wearing the earplugs.

Step 4: Adjust as Needed

If the earplugs feel loose or uncomfortable, adjust them by repeating steps 2 and 3.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Usage Instructions

  • The hearing protector is intended to protect the wearer from hazardous noise levels.
  • The wearer should ensure that the earplugs are fitted, adjusted, and maintained under this
  • Instruction Manual. Any other uses are not intended and therefore not allowed. Always wear the earplugs when in a noisy environment, without interruption.
  • Slightly pull up your ear and with your other hand insert the earplug into the ear, until the protector fits snugly.
  • Do not place the earplug too deep in the ear. Improper fit, improper use, or failure to follow the instructions of this device will decrease noise reduction effectiveness, increase the risk of hearing damage, and affect the lifespan of reusable earplugs.
  • Alpine Hearing Protection is not liable for any damage arising from misuse.
  • Check the working order of the earplugs regularly and store them in the original, clean packaging.
  • Clean the earplugs regularly with mild soap and lukewarm water. Dry off after cleaning.
  • The reusable earplugs can be used approximately 100 times.
  • Sudden or rapid removal of hearing protection may cause damage to the eardrum.
  • Do not remove plugs from the ear by pulling the connecting cord. Do not use a connecting cord if there is a chance of getting entangled. When this device is worn as directed, the level of noise entering a person’s ear is approximated by the
differences between the A-weighted environmental noise level and the lesser and greater NRRs.

Caution:

  • For predominantly low-frequency noise environments in which the difference in the measured C-weighted and A-weighted noise levels (dBCdBA) exceeds 3 dB, the user is directed to the enclosed graph of the variability of noise reduction with noise spectra to determine the level of protection. This product may be adversely affected by certain chemical substances. Further information should be sought from the manufacturer. Hereby,
  • Alpine Hearing Protection, declares that the hearing protector MusicSafe complies with the PPE regulation (EU) 2016/425. The full text of the EU
