Product Usage Instructions
Step 1: Insertion
- Ensure your hands are clean before handling the earplugs.
- Gently roll the earplugs between your fingers to compress them into a small, narrow cylinder shape.
- Using your opposite hand, reach over your head and pull up and back on your outer ear to straighten the ear canal.
- Insert the compressed earplug into the ear canal while maintaining pressure on the end of the plug until it is fully inserted.
- Release the pressure on the plug and allow it to expand and conform to the shape of your ear canal.
Step 2: Fit Check
After inserting the earplugs, perform a fit check to ensure proper placement and effectiveness:
- Place your hands over your ears and press lightly to create a seal.
- If you notice a significant reduction in noise, the earplugs are properly fitted.
- If you still hear a significant amount of noise, remove and reinsert the earplugs following the insertion instructions.
Step 3: Removal
- Gently grasp the end of the earplug and slowly twist and pull it out of the ear canal.
- Store the earplugs in a clean, dry place when not in use.
FAQ
Q: What does the Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) mean?
A: The Noise Reduction Rating shows the range of protection expected from this protector in normal usage. The lower number is the amount of protection possible for most users (80%) to achieve or exceed. The higher number is the amount possible for a few motivated proficient users (20%) to achieve or exceed. Higher numbers denote greater protection.

DECIBELS
Variability of Noise Reduction as a Function of Noise Spectra
The hearing protector is intended to protect the wearer from hazardous noise levels. The wearer should ensure that the earplugs are fitted, adjusted and maintained in accordance with this Instruction Manual. Any other uses are not intended and therefore not allowed. Always wear the earplugs when in a noisy environment, without interruption. Slightly pull up your ear and with your other hand insert the earplug into the ear, until the protector fits snugly. Do not place the earplug too deep in the ear. Improper fit, improper use or failure to follow the instructions of this device will decrease noise reduction effectiveness, increase the risk of hearing damage and affect the lifespan of the reusable earplugs. Alpine Hearing Protection is not liable for any damage arising from misuse. Check the working order of the earplugs regularly and store them in the original, clean packaging. Clean the earplugs regularly with mild soap and lukewarm water. Dry off after cleaning. The reusable earplugs can be used approximately 100 times. Sudden or rapid removal of hearing protection may cause damage to the eardrum. Do not remove plugs from the ear by pulling the connecting cord. Do not use a connecting cord if there is a chance of getting entangled. When this device is worn as directed, the level of noise entering a person’s ear is approximated by the differences between the A-weighted environmental noise level and the lesser and greater NRRs. Caution: For predominantly low frequency noise environments in which the difference in the measured C-weighted and A-weighted noise levels (dBCdBA) exceeds 3 dB, the user is directed to the enclosed graph of the variability of noise reduction with noise spectra to determine the level of protection. This product may be adversely affected by certain chemical substances. Further information should be sought from the manufacturer. Hereby, Alpine Hearing Protection, declares that the hearing protector PartyPlugPro Natural is in compliance with the PPE regulation (EU) 2016/425.
