Name and function of each part

  1. Left button

  6. Trackball Rotate using your fingertips to move the cursor.

    • Each time the button is pressed, the count number (movement speed of the cursor) switches between three stages. When the count number is changed, the current count number is shown by the number of times the LED light blinks. one blink 500 dpi two blinks 1000 dpi three blinks 1500 dpi
    • Pair the mouse with your device’s Bluetooth® module or a Bluetooth® adapter.

Insert the batteries
  1. Remove the battery cover.
  2. Insert the batteries as instructed. Insert with the correct battery plus and minus orientation.

Turning the Power On

Slide the power switch on the side of the product to the ON position.
Slide the switch to the left to reveal the blue indicator. The power indicator light will light up red for a period of time. When remaining battery is low, the LED blinks red for a fixed time.

Power-saving mode
When the mouse is left untouched for a fixed period of time while the power is ON, it automatically shifts to power-saving mode. The mouse is released from the power-saving mode when it is touched. Mouse operation may be unstable for a few seconds after returning from the power-saving mode.

Pairing with a PC
  • Pairing involves registering Bluetooth® devices (in this case, this product and your device) with each other, and authorising a connection between them.
  • This section covers Windows® and Macintosh standard Bluetooth functions. Depending on your device or Bluetooth* adaptor, unique Bluetooth® functions may be used. Please read the respective manuals for each function. Please carry out the pairing operation using your current mouse or touchpad on your device.

Windows® 10
If your computer does not support Bluetooth® 4.0 or if you have upgraded from Windows® 8.1 or Windows® 7, please use a Bluetooth® adapter compatible with Bluetooth® 4.0

  1. Click on the “Start” button on the lower left of the screen, and click on the “Settings” . Click on “Devices” on the “Windows Settings” screen.

  2. Click on “Devices”.
    The “Devices” page will appear.

  3. Click on “Bluetooth & other devices”, and click on “Add Bluetooth or other device”.

  4. Click “Bluetooth”.

  5. When the “Add a Pairing button device” pageappears, hold down the pairing button on the side of the product for around 5 seconds, and then release.
    The product will be in pairing mode and the battery indicator light will blink red.

  6. Click “ELECOM Relacon”. Start pairing.

  7. When it changes to “Connected” click on “Done”.

  8. This product is added to “Mouse, keyboard, & pen”, displays “Connected ” and pairing is complete.

Windows® 7
Please purchase an adapter compatible with Bluetooth 4.0 compatible with Windows 7 that you can purchase in your region. For the pairing method, please refer to the instruction manual for the Bluetooth® adapter compatible with Bluetooth 4.0. (* We cannot take responsibility for its operation)

Hint for pairing
Select “ELECOM Relacon” from the list of devices.

macOS Mojave (10.14)
Can only be used for Macintosh compatible with Bluetooth 4.0.

  1. From the Apple menu, click “System Preferences…” to display the system environment settings screen.

  3. During device search, holddown the pairing button on the side of the product for around 5 seconds, and then release.
    The product will be in pairing mode and the battery indicator light will blink red.

Android
Instructions for Pixel 3 (Android 9) are as follows.

  1. Open “Settings” on your device.

  2. Hold down the pairing button on the side of the product for around 5 seconds, and then release.
    The product will be in pairing mode and the battery indicator light will blink red.

  3. Tap on “Connected devices”.

  4. Tap on “Pair new device”
    The Bluetooth will turn ON automatically if it is OFF.

  5. Select “ELECOM Relacon” from “Available devices” and tap on the display. Pairing will begin automatically.

  6. When pairing is complete, “ELECOM Relacon” will appear under “Connected devices”.

If pairing fails, delete “ELECOM Relacon” from “Available seich The power on this rochet our atompting the pairing again.

How to clean the trackball

  1. Remove the battery cover.
  2. Use a thin rounded stick to push the ball from behind.
  3. Use a cotton bud or similar to remove the dust accumulated on the three contact surfaces of the red ball.
