Quick Start Guide

1. Remove Black Diamond 75 from the packaging.
2. Upon first use, plug in the USB cable to activate the keyboard.
3. Long press Fn+Esc to turn on/off the keyboard.
4. When not plugged in, long press Fn+1 for 3s, until the 1 key continuously lights up (other in-switch LEDs are disabled), to enter Bluetooth pairing mode and connect to device.
5. When not plugged in, press Fn+4 to enter 2.4G pairing mode, the 4 key and front lighting (Advance only) light up green for 3s when successfully connected.
6. After successfully pairing with your target device, the keyboard is ready to use.

5. Wireless connection

   • Fn + 1: To connect to Bluetooth device 1, long press for 3s until number 1 and the front lighting* indicate white. The corresponding indicators will quickly flash blue for 3s to indicate successful pairing. Red lighting indicates connection failed.
   • Fn + 2 : To connect to Bluetooth device 2, long press for 3s until number 2 and the front lighting* indicate white. The corresponding indicators will quickly flash blue for 3s to indicate successful pairing. Red lighting indicates connection failed.
   • Fn + 3: To connect to Bluetooth device 3, long press for 3s until number 3 and the front lighting* indicate white. The corresponding indicators will quickly flash blue for 3s to indicate successful pairing. Red lighting indicates connection failed.
   • Fn + 4: After inserting the 2.4G receiver into the computer, press Fn + 4. Number 4 and the front lighting* indicate green for 3s to indicate successful pairing. Red lighting indicates connection failed.
   • Front lighting is only available with Advance

6. Switching devices

   • Fn + 1/2/3/4 can be used to switch devices. While switching, the corresponding number (1/2/3/4) and front lighting  continuously indicate white. After successfully switching to Blue tooth device 1/2/3, the corresponding number (1/2/3) and front lighting light up blue for 3s. When switching to 2.4G mod e, the 4 key and front lighting light up green for 3s after switching. If switching was unsuccessful, the corresponding indicators light up red for 5s and then return to their original lighting effect.
   • Front lighting is only available with Advance

7. Battery level indicator

   • Fn+P:
   • Battery 100%: the numbers 1-0 light up green for 3s
   • Battery 90%: the numbers 1-9 light up green for 3s
   • Battery 80%: the numbers 1-8 light up green for 3s
   • Battery 70%: the numbers 1-7 light up yellow-green for 3s
   • Battery 60%: the numbers 1-6 light up yellow-green for 3s
   • Battery 50%: the numbers 1-5 light up yellow-green for 3s
   • Battery 40%: t he numbers 1-4 light up orange for 3s
   • Battery 30% : the numbers 1-3 light up orange for 3s
   • Battery 20% : the numbers 1-2 flash red for 3s
   • Battery 10% : number 1 quickly flashes red for 3s
   • Battery below 10%: the numbers 1-0 quickly flash red for 3s
   • Battery below 5% : the numbers 1-0 slowly flash red for 5s, repeated every 5 minutes

LAYERS & LAYOUTS

1. Download AM Master from angrymiao.com/am-master and keep the keyboard connected to the computer via USB.
2. Enter diy.angrymiao.com and select the corresponding keyboard model in the top bar to edit function keys and lighting effects (navigate to the “In-Switch LED configuration” page through the link on the right bottom of the DIY page).
3. After finishing editing, generate the JSON config file and download it.
4. Open AM Master, select your JSON config file and import it (you can directly use config files shared by others).
5. Wait until it’s successfully configured

Layers: by default, you can switch to layer 2 by holding down the Fn key. You can also switch directly to corresponding layers by short pressing manually assigned layer keys. You can create a maximum of 7 layers.

BLUETOOTH & 2.4G CONNECTIONS

• Tri-Mode (BLE 5.1, 2.4G, wired), BLE 5.1, USB wired with automatic switching.
• 2.4G mode in combination with DR Rapid Ice switches can achieve a wireless latency of 2ms.
