Warning:

• This product is designed exclusively for the practice of snorkelling, maximum depth of 3m/10ft.
• For your safety, learn to use this equipment correctly before you use the product by reading the enclosed instructions.
• Read the following information carefully and keep the instructions for future reading.
• Breathing through a snorkel is more demanding than simply swimming.
• If you feel tired, short of air or dizzy, remove your mask and get out of the water.
• Do not use this product if you have any ongoing respiratory or cardiovascular issues including but not limited to chest infection, asthma, high/raised blood pressure (hypertension), heart disease or angina etc.
• If you have any doubts or questions relating to this please check with your medical practitioner.
• Never go snorkelling alone. Always go snorkelling with a partner.
• Never modify the mask and/or snorkel yourself, as this may bring the risk of death.
• Practising putting the mask on and taking it off several times before using it could help prevent injuries and deaths.
• Do keep in mind how far you have swum and keep in mind the currents; the return journey to shore may be exhausting.
• Do not leave unsupervised within the reach of children.
• Failure to follow safety instructions can result in serious injury, drowning or death.

PRECAUTIONS

• Always use the mask with the snorkel.(4)
• This mask, designed for seabed observation, should be used under conditions at light to moderate intensity.
• This mask is not suitable for swimming. (5)
• This equipment should only be used at a maximum depth of 3m/10ft. (6)
• Not following these security rules can lead to severe injuries, drowning or death (for example as a result of an intoxication to carbon dioxide, Immersion Pulmonary Oedema, etc).
• This mask complies with the health and safety requirements of European regulation 2016/425 relating to personal protective equipment.
• It protects the diver’s eyes from any direct contact with water. The lens of the mask is resistant to impacts under normal conditions of use.
• Do not dive or jump into the water while wearing the mask. (7)
• Do not carry the mask by the snorkel.

FOR CHILDREN

• This product is not a toy. Not suitable for children under 12 years. (8)

INSTRUCTIONS

• To ensure a perfect seal, choose a mask that fits your face.
• A particular size will not fit everyone. (10) Make sure there is no space between the skirt and your face (beards can prevent a perfect seal).
• When using it for the first time, check the sealing of your mask against your face in shallow water where you can touch the bottom.
• Before putting the mask on your head, clip the snorkel to the stop and check that the seal is present. (11)
• Put the mask on and position it correctly on the face. Make sure there is no hair in the mask.
• Then, adjust the strap using the 2 tightening buckles to ensure that the mask is secure and there are no gaps in the seal around the face.
• The strap must be centred at the top of the head. Do practice removing the mask while standing in shallow water.
• While using, remember to take the mask off regularly. You must be able to easily remove your mask if water infiltrates the mask to prevent serious injury, suffocation, drowning or death.
• Wate could enter your mask from time to time, this is normal. If there is any water present, lift your head out of the water and the water will drain out gradually through the valve at the bottom of the mask.
• Check that your equipment is functioning properly before each use and in particular that nothing is preventing the circulation of air and the evacuation of water through the valve located at the bottom of the mask.
• Check the overall assembly of the mask and that there are no defects in the assembly of the skirt on the frame and the lens.
• Check the good position and the mobility of the air inlet flap inside the mask at the forehead. (12) Check the presence and the correct positioning of the two valves around the nose and the water evacuation valve at the bottom of the mask.(13)
• Refer to the video available via the QR code at the beginning of this usage manual  If it fogs up over your eyes, make sure the mask is the right size, check that it is in good working order, then reposition your Easybreath mask correctly on your face.
• If the issue continues, do not use the mask and contact your closest Decathlon store The mask has a «Dry top» system.
• This system was developed to prevent water from entering the snorkel when the sea is choppy or has ripples on the surface, during immersion or when the user leans the head too far forward to see the seabed.
• The snorkel has a float inside which goes up to close the opening when it goes below the surface of the water.
• When it happens, remember to blow when returning the snorkel above water to ensure that the float goes back down.
• Ensure good mobility of the float in the snorkel. (14)
• Keep your Easybreath mask away from sand to avoid scratching the lens.
• In the presence of sand, do not force the snorkel into place.
• Rinse the snorkel and mask first. Sand can also clog the float valve inside the snorkel.
• Use a key that you can fit through the snorkel’s rear vents to unblock the float valve, then rinse the snorkel thoroughly  Avoid contact between the mask and solvents or detergents.
• To obtain maximum life from your product, avoid unnecessary exposure to sunlight.
• Do not leave the mask for a long time under direct sunshine or high temperatures (60°C / 140°F).
• Caution, if you leave your equipment in the sun, the dark parts can become very hot, beware before using it.
• This product can eventually cause reactions on sensitive skin. Stop using immediately should you experience irritation.
• If you have any doubts or questions, check with your medical practitioner.

MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

• Thoroughly rinse the mask with fresh water after use.(15) Make sure that all impurities (salt, sand, seaweed, etc.)  have been removed.
• To ensure the proper functioning of the anti-fog system, wash the inside of the mask glass by hand with dishwasher soap regularly, being careful not to touch the valves located on each side of the nose and chin.
• Store in a dry, ventilated place away from sunlight.

• Product created and designed by Decathlon.
• In the absence of a specific normative reference applicable for surface snorkelling full face mask, the product has been tested based on a testing protocol conducted by INPP, test laboratory, Port de la Pointe Rouge, 13008 Marseille, France.
• The test protocol is based on the test methods for standards applied to diving masks (EN16805:2015) and snorkels (EN1972:2015 §3.4)
• The product is subject to a limited warranty of 2 years worldwide. Please see the Decathlon website in your country for more details and conditions. under licence from Ocean Reef Group.
