Installation

1. Select a position where the solar panel can get enough sunshine. Mount the solar light to the exact position using the provided screws and plastic anchors.
2. Press the power button to turn on the light and select the desired lighting mode.

Notes:

1. The solar light will not light up in the daytime or in a bright area after you select the mode. It will light up at night or in a dark area.
2. The solar panel can charge quicker under strong sunlight. It cannot charge or charge slowly under weak sunlight. The charging time depends on the intensity of the sunlight.
3. The lighting time depends on the energy generated by the solar panel during the day.

Lighting Mode
The solar light comes with 3 modes. Press the Power Button to change the lighting mode.

Medium Light Mode (Stay On at Night)
The solar light will charge during the day and auto-turn on medium light in dark surroundings or at night. After charging for 7-8 hours under the sunlight, the lighting time is about 8-12 hours.

Dim Light Sensor Mode
The solar light will charge during the day, and auto-turn on dim light in dark surroundings or at night when no motion is detected. It will turn to bright light when motion is detected and stay on for about 15-25 seconds. It will turn to dim light again when there is no motion detected.

Bright Light Sensor Mode
The solar light will charge during the day, auto-turn on bright light in dark surroundings or at night when motion is detected and stay on for about 15-25 seconds. The light will turn off when there is no motion detected.

Precautions

1. Keep the solar panel surface clean to collect sunlight more effectively.
2. The built-in battery would be out of power if there was no good sunlight for several days. Thus, the light may not light up at night. If a sunny day comes, it will generate power during the day and light up at night.
3. Under extreme cold temperatures, or on cloudy, rainy, snowy days, the battery may not be fully charged. ln such cases, the light may not stay bright for long.
4. To better keep the waterproof feature, do not disassemble the product.

FAQs

1. How to use the outdoor solar light effectively in winter when the daytime is short?
   Use the third mode in winter: Bright Light Sensor Mode (press 3 times). This not only makes good use of solar energy but also prolongs the service life of the product.

2. What should I do if I fail to turn on the light when I receive the product?
   During long transportation, the power of the light is exhausted. Please charge the solar light under the sun for 6 hours before using it for the first time.

3. What should I do if the product does not light up after charging?
   The lights will only turn on at night or in dark surroundings. Or if using the Bright Light Sensor Mode, it lights up at night when the movement of people or vehicles is detected. It will not turn on during the day, or in a bright place at night.

4. The solar panel is covered. Will this affect the normal use of the light?
   If the entire solar panel, or a part thereof, is covered by heavy dust, snow etc., the covered part of the panel will heat up, which is often referred to as the “Hotspot Effect”. This effect can be severe enough to damage a solar panel. When installing an outdoor solar light, it is important to make sure that there are no obstructions around the solar panel. Avoid obstacles that partially block the solar panel from the sunlight, which may reduce the efficiency of power generation.

What does this warranty cover?
Shenzhen Unichain Technology Co., LTD. (Manufacturer: “Unichain”) warrants to the original purchaser of this TECKNET product that the product shall be free of defects in design, assembly, material, or workmanship.

What the period of coverage is.
Unichain warrants the TECKNET product for 12 Months.

What will we do to correct problems?
Unchain will repair or replace, at its option, any defective product free of charge (except for shipping charges for the product).

What is not covered by this warranty?
All above warranties are null and void if the TECKNET product is not provided to Unichain for inspection upon Unichain’s request at the sole expense of the purchaser, or if Unichain determines that the TECKNET product has been improperly installed, altered in any way, or tampered with. The TECKNET Product Warranty does not protect against acts of God such as flood, earthquake, lightning, war, vandalism, theft, normal-use wear and tear, erosion, depletion, obsolescence, abuse, damage due to low voltage disturbances (e.g. brownouts or sags), non-authorized program, or system equipment modification or alteration.

Please contact retailers or visit the TECKNET website or email support@teck- netonline.com for more information. To extend the warranty period, please visit the TECKNET website and register your TECKNET products within 90 days of purchase.
