Product Usage Instructions

Loading Batteries
To load batteries into the device, follow these steps:

1. Push the battery door gently to open the battery box.
2. Insert two AA batteries into the battery box, ensuring correct polarity.
3. The screen will display the time (AM 12: 00) and the battery icon after loading.
4. Make sure to use batteries of the same specification and with equal charge levels.

Radio Station Presets
To set and delete radio station presets, follow these steps:

• To set a favorite radio station, long press the desired favorite key.
• To delete a radio station from presets, hold the DEL key while playing the corresponding preset station.

Searching for Radio Stations
To search for radio stations, follow these steps:

• Ensure you are in FM/AM/SW mode.
• Rotate the tuning knob manually to change the frequency displayed on the screen.
• Stop rotating the knob when you find the desired radio station.
• To find the previous or next station automatically, long press the ‘+/-‘ key.
• In the SW band, you can perform a fast search by pressing and holding the ‘+/-‘ key until the lightning symbol appears on the screen.

Favorite Stations
To save and access your favorite stations, follow these steps:

• Hold one of the three favorite keys to save a favorite station.
• In the power-on state, press the corresponding favorite key to quickly access the saved station.
• To cancel a favorite station, long press the favorite button while listening to the station.
• If a station has been set as a favorite, holding a different favorite key while listening to another station will replace the favorite station with the frequency of the current station.

Alarm Clock Setting
To use the device as an alarm clock and set the alarm time, follow these steps:

1. In the power-off state, hold the alarm clock key.
2. The icon of the alarm clock will be lit and the hour digit will start flickering.
3. Use the + or – key to set the desired hour.
4. Press the alarm clock key again, and the minute digit will start flickering.
5. Use the + or – key to set the desired minute.
6. Press the alarm clock key again to set the volume of the alarm clock.
7. Use the + or – key to select from 16 levels of volume. The default volume is set to 13.
8. Press the alarm clock key again to select the alarm sound. Use the + or – key to choose between BUZ (buzzing sound) or aADO (additional sound).

LISTEN TO RADIO PROGRAMS

Load the batteries
Push the battery door gently to open the battery box and load two AA batteries with the correct polarity into the box The time” AM 12: 00 ” and the icon of the battery will be displayed on the screen after loading ( make sure to note the direction of their polarity and use the batteries of the same specification and with equal charge level).

Power on and off

Hold the key to turn on or turn off the radio. Time is displayed on the screen after the power is off, and frequency is displayed on the screen after the power is on.

FM/AM/SW Switch
After the power is on press FM / AM/SW key to switch, FM or AM or SW.

Listen to radio programs
There are two tuning ways – automatic and manual for this device

Automatic search:

1. In FM AM or SW state, hold the ” SCAN” key to search and save radio stations automatically. Serial numbers ( such as P01, P02 •, and max 30 radio stations can be saved) will be generated according to the search sequence for the saved stations.
2. After the search is completed, the 1st saved station will be played by default, and the screen will display the current serial number and then the frequency. You can press the “+/-” key to select the saved station up or down.
3. You can press the DEL key to delete the radio station from the preset, for example, if you don’t like the radio station in the P05 position, you can hold the DEL key while playing the P05 radio station. Delete from memory.
4. Make sure to search for radio stations at a place with good signals such as at the window, on the rooftop, or in the courtyard.

Manual search:

1. Enter SW or FM or AM, and rotate the tuning knob manually frequency displayed on the screen will be changed with the movement of the tuning knob, just stop rotating it after the needed radio station is searched.
2. You can long press the ‘+/- key to find the previous or next station automatically. In the SW band, you don’t like it very slow, you can press and hold the ‘+/-‘key until the lightning symbol comes on the screen, which means fast search.

ENTER SETTING BY COLLECT/SHORTCUT KEY

1. You can collect your favorite stations by holding your favorite key ( there are three favorite keys in the device, and they are O 2 3). For example, if you like station FM90.5MHZ, you can hold a favorite key to save it. power-on state, press this favorite key, and you will enter station FM90.5MHZ quickly.
2. Enter the favorite station and the favorite button is displayed on the screen.
3. When you are listening to a favorite station, long press the favorite button to cancel the favorite. The favorite symbol disappears from the screen at this time.
4. If a station has been favorite for a favorite key while listening to another station, hold this favorite key, and the favorite station will be deleted and replaced with the frequency of the station you are listening to now.

SETTING OF TIME, ALARM CLOCK, AND SLEEP

After the batteries are loaded for the first time or are changed , the time displayed in the device by default is AM12: 00

1. In the power-off state, hold the ” TIME ” key, and the digit of “HOUR” will flicker, Hour can be adjusted with the “+/-” key, and the hour will be switched from 1 to 24 in a loop.
2. After the hour is set, press the ” TIME ” key, and the digit of ” minute ” will flicker Minute can be adjusted with the” + ” or “-” key and the minute will be switched from 00 to 59 in a loop.
3. Press the  ” TIME ” key again to finish setting
4. In a power-on state, time can not be set. But press the TIME button, the time will be displayed for 3 seconds.

This device can not only be used as a common alarm clock, but you can listen to radio programs at needed times by setting of alarm clock:

1. In the power-off state, hold the key, and the icon of the alarm clock will be lighted the digit of the hour will flicker, and the hour can be set with the ” + ” or “ – ” key.
2. Press the key again, the digit of the minute will flicker, and the minute can be set with the ” + ” or “ – ” key
3. Press the key again, to set the volume of the alarm clock. There are 16 levels of volume for this device, and volume is 13 by default for setting for the first time.
4. Press the key again, and ” BUZ” or “aADO” will be displayed on the screen, Use the” + ” or “ – ” keys to select, “BUZ ” is the buzzing sound, and “aADO “is the sound of the radio.
5. Press the key again, and the setting of the alarm is completed.
6. In any state, press key to turn on or off the alarm clock. The is displayed when the alarm is on, and the will disappear when the alarm is off. When the alarm is activated, it will flash.
7. The alarm clock can not be set, in a power-on ( radio ) state.
8. If set to “do”. When the alarm time is up, the radio will turn on and start broadcasting the radio stations that you listened to before the power went off. Before setting “aADO”, you must have listened to the radio station before the “aADO” setting is effective.
9. Whether you set “BUZ” or”aADO”, after the alarm is activated, you need to press to turn off the alarm.

Before sleeping if you need to listen to the radio while dozing, you can set sleep time before sleeping, and the device will be turned off after the time is up. In this way, you can listen to the radio while dozing and your sleep will not be disturbed:

1. In the power-on state, hold the key, the icon of sleep and 90 will be displayed on the screen, and press the key repeatedly to set another time, it will display 90;80…. 10, and OFF in turn, Stay for the time you want, it will take effect after 5 seconds. The device switches off automatically after 90;80…10 minutes. When OFF is selected, this function is not enabled.
2. After selecting the sleep time but then want to turn it off early, you need to hold the key, restart the settings, and then go to “OFF”

OTHER OPERATIONS AND FUNCTIONS

1. In any state, the hold key, and functional key will be locked and any operation will not work, and the icon of the lock will be lighted Hold it again to disable locking.
2. Rotate the volume knob upwards or downwards to increase or decrease volume.
3. This device has a memory function and it can keep searching and save radio stations, collect radio stations and the radio programs listened to last time, and so on in the memory. However, When the batteries are taken out, part of the memory will be lost.
4. In any state, press the key, the backlight of the screen will be lighted, and the backlight will be turned off automatically 5 seconds later.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Radio signals are not clear or received radio stations are few :

1. Buildings of concrete structures, fluorescent lamps, and electromagnetic waves interfere with radio signals.
2. Try to use manual tuning in the place where signals are weak.
3. While listening to AM broadcasting, to ensure a broadcasting effect, place the device forward and make it perpendicular to the ground, and the AM antenna needs to keep parallel to the ground.

Failure to switch on:
When the charge level in the batteries is not sufficient or the elastic piece for the battery is rusted due to fluid leakage, change the batteries or Clean away the rust on the elastic place in time. The display is not clear: the charge level in the batteries is low, Please replace it with a new battery.
