Product Usage Instructions

OPERATION

  1. Power ON/OFF
  2. To power on the scale, press the ON OFF button. The scale will perform a brief self-check, taking about 5 seconds. After you hear a beep and see ‘0.000’ on the display, the scale is stable and ready for weighing.
  3. To power off the scale, press the ON OFF button again, and the device will turn off immediately.
  4. Additionally, if the scale remains idle and unused for 5 minutes, it will automatically power off to conserve energy.
  5. Zero
    Environmental conditions can cause a measurement to be displayed, even when the scale pan is empty. This is perfectly normal and not a cause for concern. To set the current measurement as zero, simply press the ZERO SCROLL key. A Z indicator will illuminate on the display to signify that the scale has been zeroed out successfully.

Tare
The weight of any container can be tared (subtracted from the total measurement) using the TARE MENU key.

  1. Place the container on the scale pan.
  2. Press the TARE MENU key. The T indicator will light up on the display and adjust the current weight reading to zero.
  3. If you remove the container from the scale pan, the tare weight will show as a negative value.
  4. To clear the tare weight, remove the container from the scale pan and press the TARE MENU key. The display will show the weight as zero, meaning that the tare weight has been cleared.

Unit Conversion
To initiate unit conversion:

  1. Press and hold the PCS OK key with your left hand.
  2. While holding the PCS OK key, press the ON OFF button with your right hand, then release both keys simultaneously.
  3. Quickly press the ZERO SCROLL button twice before the scale completes initialization. This will lead you to the parameter setting mode, indicated by ‘CAP 15’ on the display.
  4. Press the TARE MENU key to browse the parameters until ‘Unt 2’ appears, along with the ‘lb’ indicator light signals.
  5. Tap the ZERO SCROLL key to select your desired unit.
  6. Press the PCS OK key to confirm your choice.

LED Light Adjustment
To adjust the LED light settings, follow the initial steps to enter the parameter setting mode as outlined in section 5.4.

INSTALLATION

Unpacking

  • Handle the device with care when removing it from its packaging to avoid any potential damage.
  • Remove the scale from its shipping box, saving packaging materials in case the scale needs to be transported later.
  • Inspect the scale and terminal for damage.
  • Verify that all components have been included in the package.

Leveling

  • Place the scale on a level surface.
  • Remove the scale pan and inspect the bubble level indicator located at the center of the scale housing.

Power Connection

  • Locate the black silicone plug at the bottom of the scale. Carefully remove it to reveal the charging jack.
  • Connect the charging adapter to the jack, and then plug the adapter’s other end into a properly grounded AC power socket.

Rechargeable Battery

  • On the left side of the display, the battery status indicator features 3 distinct symbols representing the levels of battery life:
  • After the low battery alert is activated, the scale can continue to operate for approximately 6 hours before it shuts off.
  • When charging the battery, make sure the original adapter is securely connected to the device’s adapter jack.
  • The indicator light will turn red to signal that charging is in progress.
  • The battery takes 10 hours to fully recharge, and will continue to charge even if the device is powered off.
  • If the dcFuL appears on the display, the battery has a full charge.
  • To prevent overcharging and extend the lifespan of the battery, please unplug the charger when you see the dcFuL message.
  • Only use the original adapter to charge your device, as other adapters may cause damage.
  • Do not use any AC electrical socket that has not been properly grounded with earth contact.

Battery Life Maintenance
Please recharge the battery when you see the low battery indicator for the best long-term performance. Avoid waiting until the battery is completely discharged.

Keyboard

Key Function
  • Key used to enter the counting mode (counting the quantity of items)
  • In the parameter setting mode, press the key to select and confirm the desired option.

  • Press this key to subtract the weight of the tare (container)
  • In the parameter setting mode, press the key to cycle through the different parameters.

  • Returns the display to zero
  • In counting mode, press this key to input the sampling value of 10, 20, 50, 100, etc.
  • In the parameter setting mode, press the key to cycle through the the available options for the current parameter.

Once in parameter setting mode

  • Press the key to cycle through the parameters until ‘dL 2’ is displayed.
  • Tap the key to toggle through the available brightness levels for the LED light.
  • Once you have selected your desired brightness level, press the key to confirm and save your choice.

Counting

  • Power on the scale and allow it to initialize in weighing mode. Once stabilized, press the key to activate counting mode, indicated by the indicator. To choose a sample size, press the key button to cycle through the available options—10, 20, 50, 100, 200, or 500.
  • Pause at the number desired and place that exact number of items on the scale.
  • The number will continue to blink until the scale emits a double beep after 5 seconds, confirming the sample size has been recorded. Following this setup, as you add more of the same type of item onto the scale, it will automatically calculate and display the cumulative piece count.
  • For counting different items, remove any existing items from the scale pan and press the button to cycle through the sample size options once again. Choose the appropriate number for your new batch of items and follow the established procedure: place the exact number of samples on the scale, wait for the blinking to cease and the confirmation beep. This method can be repeated to efficiently count multiple types of items with the scale.
  • To exit counting mode, simply press the key.
