Air10 SD Card Data Transmission

The following instructions outline how customers can download their data from their AirSense™ 10 or AirCurve™ 10 device’s SD card and send it to their authorized dealer or healthcare professional for upload into AirView™ or ResScan™. It also includes instructions for authorized dealers and healthcare professionals once the data is received.
Important: Use only secure communication channels to send and receive customer data.

Instructions for customers

  1. Establish a secure customer communication portal.

  2. Remove the SD card from the Air10 device.

  3. Insert an SD card into an SD card reader.

  4. Open the email client (e.g. Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail) and start a new email.

  5. Click on the Attach Files icon.

  6. Locate the SD card Drive from the list on the left-hand side (may be named “ResMed”).

  7. Select the following files:
    a. SETTINGS folder
    b. Identification.CRC
    c. Identification.TGT
    d. STR.edf

  8. Right-click the selection and choose Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder. You may rename or accept the default file name.ResMed Air10 SD Card Data Transmission - fig 1

  9.  Select the Compressed Zipped File.

  10. Click Open to attach the compressed file to a secure message.

  11. Send a secure message to your authorized dealer or healthcare professional.

Instructions for authorized dealers and healthcare professionals
Important: Before downloading the data onto the SD card, ensure the SD card is blank.

  1. Insert blank SD card into SD card reader.

  2. Open email client (e.g. Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail).

  3. Open the email that was sent from the consumer with the data.

  4. Select the attached compressed (zipped) file and save them to the SD card from the list on the left-hand side.ResMed Air10 SD Card Data Transmission - fig 2

  5. Right-click the compressed file and choose Extract All.

  6. Select your SD card drive as the Destination Folder.
    a. Remove any default folder information and only use the drive (e.g. E:\)

  7. Open AirView or ResScan™ and download the card data as normal.

  • Authorized dealers and healthcare professionals are responsible for ensuring they establish and maintain reasonable safeguards to protect customer data during their approved method of transmission. It is preferable for customers to make an appointment with their authorized dealer or healthcare professional to securely download data from the SD card.
