OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

This guide has basic information for the use and safe operation of the Wet/Dry Vac and the Pro Gear Vac-Mount Attachment. However, the HD0300/HD0318 Wet/Dry Vacuum Owner’s Manual has important, detailed information. Carefully read both instructions before starting your new RIDGID vacuum and accessory.

  • READ AND UNDERSTAND THE PRO GEAR VAC-MOUNT ATTACHMENT INSTRUCTIONS, THE HD0300/HD0318 WET/DRY VACUUM OWNER’S MANUAL, AND ALL WARNING MARKINGS ON THE ATTACHMENT AND VACUUM BEFORE OPERATING.
  • USE ONLY AS DESCRIBED IN THIS AND THE WET/DRY VACUUM OWNER’S MANUALS.
  • DO NOT USE THE PRO GEAR VAC-MOUNT ATTACHMENT IF YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND THESE INSTRUCTIONS OR IF YOU BELIEVE YOU CANNOT PROPERLY COMPLETE THE INSTALLATION PROCESS.
  • DO NOT STORE THE STACKED RIDGID PRO GEAR TOOLBOX SYSTEM ON A SLOPED SURFACE, AN UNSTABLE CONDITION MAY RESULT WITH THE CART TIPPING OVER. A MINIMUM OF 20 POUNDS IS REQUIRED INSIDE THE BOTTOM CONTAINER WHEN MULTIPLE CONTAINERS ARE STACKED TOGETHER. TALLER STACKED HEIGHTS WILL INCREASE INSTABILITY.
  • DO NOT OPERATE THE RIDGID VACUUM WHEN ATTACHED TO THE RIDGID PRO GEAR TOOLBOX SYSTEM. THE STACK COULD FALL WHEN PULLING ON THE VACUUM HOSE. REMOVE THE VACUUM AND SET ON THE GROUND BEFORE OPERATING.
  • DO NOT INSTALL THE PRO GEAR VAC-MOUNT ATTACHMENT ON THE RIDGID PRO GEAR TOOLBOX SYSTEM WITH LIQUID OR DEBRIS IN THE VACUUM DRUM, ALWAYS EMPTY THE DRUM AFTER EACH USE.
  • DO NOT USE THE VACUUM TOP HANDLE TO LIFT, MANEUVER, OR CARRY THE PRO GEAR TOOLBOX SYSTEM. VACUUM WILL AUTOMATICALLY RELEASE FROM PRO GEAR TOOLBOX WHEN LIFTING FORCE IS APPLIED TO THE VACUUM’S TOP HANDLE.
  • THE PRO GEAR VAC-MOUNT ATTACHMENT IS INTENDED FOR USE ONLY WITH THE RIDGID PRO GEAR TOOLBOX SYSTEM (GEN 1.0 AND 2.0) AND MODEL HD0300/HD0318 WET/DRY VACUUM. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO INSTALL ON ANY OTHER PORTABLE TOOLBOX STORAGE SYSTEM, VACUUM OR OTHER OBJECT.
  • TO REDUCE THE RISK OF PERSONAL INJURY OR DAMAGE TO THE PRO GEAR VAC-MOUNT ATTACHMENT, USE ONLY RIDGID WET/DRY VACUUM RECOMMENDED ACCESSORIES.
  • SECURELY ATTACH THE PRO GEAR VAC-MOUNT ATTACHMENT TO THE HD0300/HD0318 AS INSTRUCTED IN THIS MANUAL.
  • SECURELY ATTACH THE PRO GEAR VAC-MOUNT ATTACHMENT TO ONLY THE “TOP” POSITION OF THE RIDGID PRO GEAR MOBILE STACK.
  • DO NOT STORE ANY ITEMS OTHER THAN EXTENSION WANDS ON THE PRO GEAR VAC-MOUNT ATTACHMENT, OTHER ITEMS MAY CAUSE THE LOCKING MECHANISM TO RELEASE THE VACUUM WITHOUT WARNING.
  • DO NOT USE THE PRO GEAR VAC-MOUNT ATTACHMENT IF ANY PART IS BROKEN OR DAMAGED, DISCARD IMMEDIATELY AND PURCHASE A NEW ATTACHMENT.
  • DO NOT INSTALL THE PRO GEAR VAC-MOUNT ATTACHMENT ONTO A HD0300/ HD0318 WET/DRY VACUUM IF THE VACUUM’S DRUM IS CRACKED/DAMAGED OR ATTACHMENT MOUNTING FEATURES ARE BROKEN/DAMAGED.
  • SECURELY STORE THE HD0300 VACUUM POWER CORD INSIDE THE VACUUM CORD STORAGE COMPARTMENT WHEN INSTALLED ON THE RIDGID PRO GEAR TOOLBOX SYSTEM TO AVOID POTENTIAL TRIPPING HAZARDS.
  • DO NOT EXPOSE TO RAIN OR ALLOW LIQUID TO ENTER THE PRO GEAR VAC-MOUNT ATTACHMENT LOCKING MECHANISM. STORE INDOORS.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

PRO GEAR SYSTEM INSTALLATION

Place the Pro Gear Vac-Mount Attachment on top of your RIDGID Pro Gear Toolbox System (sold separately) with the RIDGID Pro Gear logo facing the front side of the Case as shown above Rotate the Latches on each side of the Pro Gear Case to connect the Pro Gear Vac-Mount Attachment securely to the RIDGID Pro Gear Toolbox System. Each Side Latch should securely clip over the Pro Gear Vac-Mount Attachment Latch Holders.RIDGID-HD0300-Pro-Gear-Vac-Mount-

Place your RIDGID 3 Gallon 5.0 Peak HP NXT Wet/Dry Vac on the Pro Gear Vac- Mount Attachment. Press down on the Vac until you hear a click indicating the Vac is now securely locked into the Vac-Mount Attachment.

NOTE: The Pro Gear Vac-Mount Attachment Orange Release Button must be located on the opposite side of the Vac Hose when Wet/Dry Vac is in place.

TO REMOVE VAC FROM ATTACHMENT

Press and hold the Pro Gear Vac-Mount Attachment Orange Release Button, located on the left side. Then grab the Vac’s Handle and lift the Vac off the Pro Gear Vac-Mount Attachment.

TO REMOVE ATTACHMENT FROM RIDGID PRO GEAR TOOLBOX SYSTEM

To remove the Pro Gear Vac-Mount Attachment from an attached Case, be sure the Case Lid is closed. Rotate the Pro Gear Case Latches up and off the Pro Gear Vac-Mount Attachment Latch Holders. Then lift the Pro Gear Vac-Mount Attachment off the Case or lift the Pro Gear Vac-Mount Attachment and Vacuum by Vac Handle.

NOTE: Make sure the Vacuum is secured to the Pro Gear Vac-Mount Attachment if removing both the Vacuum and the Pro Gear Vac-Mount Attachment from the RIDGID Pro Gear Toolbox System.

TO ADD/REMOVE EXTENSION WANDS

Each Pro Gear Vac-Mount Attachment is equipped to hold 2 Extension Wands. With the Wand Clip facing up, center the Extension Wand on the Pro GearVac-Mount Attachment. Push down evenly on the Extension Wand, securing the Extension Wand into both Pro Gear Vac-Mount Attachment Wand Holders.The Wand should snap into place. There should be no gaps between the Extension Wand and the Pro Gear Vac-Mount Attachment. Pull up on the center of each Extension Wand to remove it from the Pro Gear Vac-Mount Attachment Wand Holders.

NOTE: To prevent damage to the Wand Holders, do not push Extension Wand Clips closed or pull them open by hand.
