To pitch the Harris 500 tent, please follow these steps
- Make sure you have at least 2 people to help with the setup.
- Identify the tent components according to the labelled sections:
- Section A: 1
- Section B: 2 x 4, 3 x 8, 4 x 2
- Section C: 5 x 2
- Section D: 7 x 5
- Section E: 5, 6, 9 x 2, 6 x 16, 8 x 10 (subsections i, ii, iii)
- Start by assembling the poles:
- Section B: Use the 2 poles labelled as “i.”
- Section E: Use the poles labelled as “ii.”
- Section E: Use the poles labelled as “iii.”
- Section D: Use the poles labeled as “7 x 5.”
- Section F: Use the poles labelled as “8 i.” and “9 i.”
- Connect the tent components as follows:
- Attach Section A to Section B.
- Attach Section C to Section B.
- Attach Section D to Section C.
- Attach Section E to Section D.
- Attach Section F to Section E.
Taking Down & Packing
To take down and pack the Harris 500 tent, please follow these steps:
- Make sure you have at least 2 people to assist with the process.
- Identify the tent components according to the labelled sections:
- Section A: 5
- Section B: 6 x 5, 1 x 8, 2 x 4
- Section C: 2 x 16, 3 x 10
- Section D: 9 x 4
- Section E: 8 x 8, 7 x 4
- Section F: Poles labelled as “8 i.” and “9 i.”
- Start by disassembling the poles:
- Remove the poles labelled as “8 i.” and “9 i.” from Section F.
- Disassemble the poles labeled as “7 x 5” from Section D.
- Disassemble the poles labelled as “iii.” from Section E.
- Disassemble the poles labelled as “ii.” from Section E.
- Disassemble the poles labelled as “i.” from Section B.
- Detach the tent components in reverse order:
- Detach Section F from Section E.
- Detach Section E from Section D.
- Detach Section D from Section C.
- Detach Section C from Section B.
- Detach Section B from Section A.
This tent should be erected by at least 2 people.
