Product Usage Instructions

Intended Use

  • These oven gloves are certified according to EN ISO 21420:2020 and EN407:2020 standards, which means they comply with the European EU2016/245 regulations regarding the safe use of Category II Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • These oven gloves are intended to protect against burns while cooking in the oven or BBQ. They protect the fingers, hands, and wrists against burns.
  • The oven gloves should not be used by children or individuals who require supervision due to physical, sensory, mental, or motor impairments.

Keep the packaging material away from children and pets as they can pose a choking hazard.

General:

  • These oven gloves are NOT suitable for use by children.
  • Only use the oven gloves for the purposes indicated in this user manual. Misuse of the oven gloves can result in personal injury and damage to the product.
  • If the oven gloves are not functioning properly, especially if there are any unusual holes, tears, or porous areas visible, do NOT use them and contact our customer service.
  • Do NOT disassemble the oven gloves. Do NOT repair or alter the gloves as it may damage the oven gloves, reducing their quality and effectiveness.
  • Do NOT use the oven gloves if you feel drowsy or if you are under the influence of substances that impair your reaction time (such as painkillers or alcohol).

Product Usage
These oven gloves are only suitable for use against contact heat and limited flames. They are NOT suitable for use against radiant heat or convection heat.

If the oven gloves are damaged, do NOT use them and contact our customer service.

  • Put on the oven gloves completely until the fingers touch the end of the glove.
  • When using against burns from contact heat, carefully grasp the hot object and check for a secure grip. Then, pick up the object and place it at the desired location with a cautious movement.
  • When using against flames, DO NOT put these oven gloves in open fire or flames. These oven gloves provide limited protection against flames.

Cleaning and Storage

  • Rinse the oven gloves under warm water after each use.
  • Store the oven gloves at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  • The oven gloves can be machine washed up to 3 times.

INTENDED USE

  • These oven gloves are certified per the EN ISO 21420:2020 and EN407:2020 standards, which means that they comply with the European EU2016/245 regulation regarding the safe use of Category II Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
  • These oven gloves are intended as protection against burns while cooking in the oven or on the BBQ. These oven gloves protect fingers, hands, and wrists against burns.
  • The oven gloves are suitable for contact heat up to 250°C and provide protection against limited flame spread. The oven mitts are made from three different materials. The two-layer material on the hands and palms consists of a heat-resistant silicone outer layer and a cotton inner layer for extra comfort and sweat absorption. The part that covers the forearms is made of polyester and offers NO protection against heat and flames.
  • The oven gloves should not be used by children. Nor may they be used by persons who require supervision due to physical, sensory, mental, or functional motor limitations.

  • Use the oven mitts only for the purposes specified in this user manual. Misuse of the oven mitts may result in personal injury and product damage.
  • If the oven mitts do not function normally – especially if unusual holes, cracks, or porous areas are visible – DO NOT use the oven mitts and contact our customer service team.
  • DO NOT take the oven mitts apart. DO NOT repair or restore the gloves. This can damage the oven mitts, reducing their quality and effectiveness.
  • DO NOT use oven mitts if you feel sleepy or if you are using substances that shorten your reaction time (such as painkillers or alcohol).

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

These oven gloves are only suitable for use against contact heat and limited flames. They are NOT suitable for use against radiant heat or convector heat.

  • Perform a visual inspection on the oven mitts before use. If the oven mitts are damaged, DO NOT use them and contact our customer service.
  • Put on the oven mitts completely until the fingers touch the end of the oven mitt.
  • When used against burns with contact heat: carefully grasp the hot object and check whether a good grip is present. Then pick up the object and place the object in the desired location with a gentle movement.
  • When used against flames: DO NOT put these oven mitts in an open fire or flame. These oven mitts provide limited protection against flames.

CLEANING AND STORAGE

  • Rinse the oven mitts with warm water after each use.
  • Store the oven mitts at room temperature, out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources.
