Calibration
Your scale comes calibrated from the factory and most users won’t need to calibrate their scales for a long time. If the scale should ever deliver a false reading, it can be calibrated in the following way if required.
- Prepare the required calibration weight for your scale (you can find the info on the specs chart).
- Find a flat and level surface to perform calibration and let the scale to acclimate to room temperature.
- Be sure the scale is on and nothing is on the platform, press and hold the MODE key for a few seconds until the screen shows “CAL” then release, click the MODE key again, the display starts to flash the number of required calibration weight.
- Gently place the required calibration weight on the center of the platform, after a few seconds, “PASS” is briefly displayed, then the display will show the number of the calibration weight, now you may remove the calibration weight from the platform.
- The calibration is complete and you are ready to weigh.
