Proper Installation of LIFXIZE Dryer Vent
To ensure the efficient and safe operation of your LIFXIZE dryer vent, it is important to properly install the dryer vent. Here are our recommendations for the correct installation of your dryer vent:
- Locate the dryer vent on a vertical wall as close as possible to the electric clothes dryer. Do not exhaust it into an attic, soffit, ridge vent, or crawl space.
- Install the vent at a height convenient to the operator, which will be easy for the user to access, clean, and maintain.
- We recommend using any UL listed dryer transition duct for the exhaust line. Never use Vinyflex ducts.
- The connection at the back of the dryer may be made with a metal 90 degree fitting known as a “close elbow” to prevent the transition hose from being crushed against the wall.
By following these guidelines, you can ensure the proper installation of your
LIFXIZE dryer vent and maintain the safe and efficient operation of your
electric clothes dryer.

Installation
Dryer Vent Main Body
STEP 1
Remove FUNMAS Unit from Packaging
STEP 2
Select a wall close to the dryer which allows you to meet the recommendations
above
STEP 3
Drill a 1/4″ hole at screw locations and tap in the plastic anchors.
STEP 4
Mount the backplate to the wall.
STEP 5
Secure the main body to the back plate.
Installing the exhaust line (not included)
STEP 1
When determining the ducting option for your dryer, consider if your dryer has
a sidewall option. If so, choose the connection that provides the shortest
path.
This may be the back of the dryer cabinet or the sidewall.
STEP 2
If the connection is located at the back of the dryer cabinet, move the dryer
away from the wall and insert a metal 90 degree fitting, also known as a
“close elbow,” to prevent the transition hose from being crushed against the
wall.
STEP 3
Extend a small portion of the metal flexduct and connect it to the nearby
elbow.
Use a hose clamp to secure it.
STEP 4
To connect the metal flex duct to your dryer vent, carefully guide it towards
the vent and secure the connection with a hose clamp.
STEP 5
Your LIFXIZE dryer vent has been installed and is now ready for
calibration.

Holds our filters in place by means of clamping tabs.
Note: The filter is not divided into front and back, you can use either
side.
Use of Water Drawer
We recommend that the water drawer be filled with no more than half its
capacity.
This versatile device can also function
as an aromatherapy machine by simply adding the desired aromatherapy liquid.
Expect improvedindoor air quality as a result of using this product.
