Steps for 18650 Battery of Spot Welding
- Make sure both ends of the battery are flat and clean without rust and corrosion.
- Hold the spot welder in your hand, set the spot welder position, and press properly with force to make good contact between the weld pin and nickel, nickel and battery, with no overhang and no poor contact.
- Wait for the welding current output.
Note: You can try different gears and pressing forces until the welding strength reaches the highest level. It should be noted that the higher the gear, the firmer the welding results.
Q&A
- Q: What operations are prohibited?
- A: 1. Please do not modify, disassemble or repair this product by yourself without permission.
- It is strictly forbidden to make the product contact with any liquid. Please do not immerse the product in water or get it wet. Do not use the machine in the rain or humid environment.
- The product is recommended to be used in the ambient temperature between 15 C and 50°C. If the product is beyond the temperature range, it would affect the spot welding effect and service life of the spot welding machine.
- Q: Would please give some notes about charging?
- A: 1. When the power is lower than 30%, the output power will drop and the spot welding effect will be weakened, the best effect is to keep the power at 65% or more when spot welding, and this product supports charging while using.
- When the power of the spot welding machine is low, please charge it on time by using the charger with 5V voltage. It is recommended to use the charger with 5V/1A or higher to achieve the fastest charging effect.
- When the product is charging, the power indicator will be flashing with frequency. When the power indicator is fully lit and stops flashing, it indicates that charging is completed.
- Q: How to store the spot welder?
- A: Please store the spot welder after it is fully charged and re-charge and discharge it every 1-2 months or so to keep the battery active.
- Q: What about the welding tips?
- A: 1. When conducting spot welding, please gently put the spot welding pen on the nickel piece, do not press the spot welding pen. If the welding point is blackened, please adjust the gear to the lower level; in the case of the weld pool, please adjust the gear to the higher level. Before welding, you can try on the blade, stainless steel bowl and other surfaces of larger iron stainless steel, and the welding would be much easier for welding battery.
- After using the spot welding pen repeatedly for a while, the welding needle may be oxidated. If the welding performance declines, it is recommended to use 1,000 mesh sponge sandpaper gently polished or gently grind off the blackened part with a file.
