The S1-F(WZ) Zigbee + RF Single Line AC Phase Cut RF Dimmer is a versatile dimming device that allows you to control and dim single-color dimmable LED lamps, and traditional incandescent and halogen lights. It features Tuya APP cloud control, which enables you to remotely turn on/off the lights, adjust brightness, set timers, create scenes, and even play music. Additionally, it is compatible with the Philips HUE APP when connected to the Philips HUE bridge. The dimmer also supports voice control through Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, Tmall Genie, and Xiaodu smart speakers. With 256 levels of smooth dimming from 0-100%, you can easily set the perfect lighting ambiance for any occasion. The minimum brightness can be set using the dedicated key. The dimmer also offers a fade time of 3 seconds for smooth transitions when turning the lights on or off.

For added convenience, the S1-F(WZ) can be connected to an RF 2.4G single zone or multiple zone dimming remote control. It can also be integrated with an AC push switch for easy on/off and 0-100% dimming functionality. The compact design allows for easy installation in a standard wall junction box behind a push switch. The dimmer also features over-heat and over-load protection, which automatically recovers.

Product Usage Instructions

Installation

Note: The installation must be performed by a professional electrician.

1. Ensure that the power is turned off before starting the installation.
2. Remove the existing switch or dimmer from the wall junction box.
3. Connect the AC input and output wires to the corresponding terminals on the dimmer (L and L1).
4. If using an AC push switch for control, connect the switch wires to the A1 and A2 terminals.
5. Securely fasten the dimmer inside the wall junction box using the provided installation clip.
6. Restore power and test the dimmer to ensure proper functionality.

Connecting to Tuya APP

1. Download and install the Tuya APP from your preferred app store.
2. Open the Tuya APP and create an account if you don’t have one already.
3. Follow the in-app instructions to add the S1-F(WZ) dimmer to your account.
4. Once added, you can control and customize the dimmer’s settings through the Tuya APP.

Connecting to Philips HUE

1. Ensure that you have a Philips HUE bridge set up and connected to your network.
2. Follow the instructions provided with the Philips HUE bridge to add devices.
3. Put the S1-F(WZ) dimmer in pairing mode by following the dimmer’s user manual.

Timers and Scenes
With the Tuya APP, you can set timers to automatically turn on or off the lights at specific times. You can also create scenes to activate preset lighting settings with a single tap or voice command.

Over-heat and Over-load Protection
The S1-F(WZ) dimmer features built-in over-heat and overload protection. If the dimmer detects excessive heat or load, it will automatically recover once the temperature or load returns to a safe level.

Caution: Please carefully ensure all wire connections and polarities are correct and secure before applying power, otherwise this dimmer will be damaged.

Note:

• When calculating the maximum number of load lamps,
• the input power or input current parameters of a single lamp must be used,
• the output power parameters can not be used.
• In addition, the maximum surge current of the dimmer is 65A,
• and the sum of the surge current of multiple dimmable LED lamps should not exceed 2 times. otherwise, the product will be overloaded and damaged.

Push dim function

• Short press: Turn on or off the light.
• Long press (1-6s): Press and hold to step-less dimming, With every other long press, the light level goes in the opposite direction.
• Dimming memory: Light returns to the previous dimming level when switched off and on again, even at power failure.

Min brightness setting

• Long press the Min set the key for 10s, the light blinks 2 times, ready for min brightness set, then short press Min set key 1-4 times, to get 4 min brightness: 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, the light will output the current min brightness immediately, wait for 5s, quit min brightness set, the light will output 100% brightness automatically.

Light on/off fade time
Switch off the power, then switch on power, repeat, then short press the Match key 3 times, the light on/off time will be set to 3s, the indicator light blink 3 times. Long press Match key 20s, restore factory default parameter, min light brightness is 5%, on/off fade time, is 0.5s.

APP operating instruction

• Please download the corresponding Tuya/Smart Life App according to your region.

• Press and hold the Match/Set key for 2s, and reset the ZigBee network.

• Press and hold the Match/Set key for 5s, or push twice the Match/Set key quickly, Clear the previous network connection, and enter config mode.

• If the Tuya APP network connection succeeds, the blue LED indicator will stop flashing, and in the Tuya APP, you can find the ZB3.0-DIM device.

S1-F(WZ) Match RF remote control (two match ways)
The end user can choose the suitable match/delete ways. Two options are offered for selection:

Use the controller’s Match key

Match:

• Short press the match key, and immediately press the on/off key (single zone remote) or zone key (multiple zone remote) on the remote.
• The LED indicator fast flashes a few times means the match is successful.

Delete:

• Press and hold match key for 15s to delete all matches,
• The LED indicator flashes a few times means all matched remotes were deleted.

Use Power Restart
Match:

• Switch off the power, then switch on the power, and repeat again. Immediately short press the on/off key (single zone remote) or zone key (multiple zone remote) 3 times on the remote.
• The light blinks 3 times means the match is successful.

Delete:

• Switch off the power, then switch on the power, and repeat. Immediately short press on/off key (single zone remote) or zone key (multiple zone remote) 5 times on the remote.
• The light blinks 5 times means all matched remotes were deleted.

S1-F(WZ) work as a Zigbee-RF converter to match other RF switch or controller
Users can choose the suitable match/delete ways. Two options are offered for selection:
