About this Guide
The Expeditor Display is designed to show an order in its entirety as it enters the KDS system. It can only be bumped off once the items are bumped from their respective Prep displays. The ticket on the Expeditor display will be colored to indicate that it is now ready and can be bumped. Please follow the instructions below to add and configure an Expeditor Station.

Add and Configure an Expeditor Station

Step 1: Create a New Ticket

1. Select Layout.
2. Click Tickets.
3. Click Add New Ticket.
4. Name the Ticket.
5. Click Save.

Step 2: Add New Layout

1. Click Grids.
2. Click Add New Layout.
3. Name your new Layout (Expeditor).
4. Select Ticket Design from the list (this will be the new ticket you created – Expeditor).
5. Click Save.

Step 3: Add New Device

1. Click Stations.
2. Click Device Config.
3. Click Add New Device.
4. Search for a network-connected device.
5. Select the Device.
6. Name the device ‘Expeditor’.
7. Click Save.

Step 4: Add Station

1. Click Stations.
2. Select Stations.
3. Click Add New Station.
4. Name the Station ‘Expeditor’.
5. Select Station Type (Expeditor).
6. Choose the Layout of the new Station (Expeditor).
7. Assign it to the ‘Expeditor’ device.
8. Click Save.
9. Click Publish.

Overview

An Expeditor Display shows an order in its entirety as it enters the KDS system but can only be bumped off once the items are bumped from their respective Prep displays. At that time the ticket on the Expeditor display will be colored indicating that it is now ready and can be bumped.

Add and Configure an Expeditor Station

This guide assumes that you already have a Single-Station KDS system setup as described in the Epson KDS Single-Station Quick Start Guide. However, these steps can be referenced to configure an Expeditor screen for a Multi-Station KDS as well.

1. Create a New Ticket

5. Name the Ticket.
6. Click Save.
7. Add New Layout.
8. Click Grids.
9. Click Add New Layout.
10. Name your new Layout (Expeditor).

13. Add New Device.
14. Click Stations.
15. Click Device Config.
16. Click Add New Device.

24. Click Add New Station.
