How to Use Whubefy Mug Heat Press?

Before we start, I’ll show you the function of the circular controller.

As you can see, there are a circular LED display and a setting knob with scales on the edge. There is a  button on the bottom of the LED display. Tips:

1. When you connect the plug to the socket the LED display will show you three dashes to say it is ready.
2. Short press the button, and the screen will display the current temperature.Short press the button again the screen will display the default countdown.
3. The number on the display will increase when the machine is heating up, while it will beep when reaching the set temperature.

Temperature unit conversion
Pressing and holdthe button for 6 seconds to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit. You can switch the setting knob Clockwise to Celsius, and counterclockwise to Fahrenheit. Set target temperature:
Switch the setting knob about 60 degrees clockwise, then you can turn it up clockwise and turn it down counterclockwise. When you reach the target temperature, just short press the button back to the normal temperature display. Set target countdown:
Switch the setting knob about 60 degrees counterclockwise, then you can turn it up clockwise and turn it down counterclockwise.
When you reach the target countdown, just short press the button back to the normal temperature display.
To produce a printed mug you need a printout picture, you may make it on a printer using dye sublimation inks, ora DIY work wit HTV vinyl, or DTF Film, and a sublimation-coated mug.
Steps to use Whubefy Mug Heat Press
Before turning on the machine, please make sure things are below:

1. Make sure the plug is connected well;
2. Make sure the circular controller is ready.

Step 1. Setting heat press
Press the  button to power the machine, and the screen will display the temperature. Then set the corresponding time and temperature based onthe Tips before. Forexample, amug. set mine to 365° (185°C)for 210 seconds for the preheating.

There are two fastening bolts on the back of the machine. you need to adjust it clockwise or counterclockwise to make it a proper space for the cup or bottle you need.

Step 2. Heat up your machine
When you turn on the mug heat press machine it will begin to heat up to the target Temperature.Once it reaches the press will make an intermittent beep. Now, you need to short-press the button to start the countdown. Step 3. Prepare the mug and print
Use thermal tape to secure the print to the mug, starting from the center and working towards the sides to expel air. You can now insert a mug for pressing, and close the clamp by pulling forward on the pressing handle.
Step 4. Operate the Heat press
Place the weeded design on your blank as you like, and make sure the vinyl faces the blank. Remember to put a Teflon sheet on your vinyl or sublimation paper! If you use sublimation paper, you’d better place a piece of cardstock inside your blank to avoid ink damage on the back of it. Step 5. Remove the backing
Allow your project to cool, and remove the backing! It willbe 24 hours before you can wash it.
Notice:

1. In order to achieve a longer service time, please add lubrication oil regularly on the joints.
2. In order to keep the mug heater’s good transfer effect, please protect it carefully whether you are using it or not.
3. Please keep the machine in a dry place.
4. If you are not able to solve the electrical parts problem, please kindly contact the supplier and get technical support.

Troubleshooting

1. If the print color is pale:
   A. The temperature is too low.
   B. Increase the transfer time.
   C. The pressure is notcorrect
   D. Transfer time is not long enough

2. If the print color is too brown or the transfer paper is almost burnt: reduce the set temperature.

3. If the print is blurring: too much transfer time causes proliferation.

4. lf the print color is different/the partial transfer effect is not good enough:
   A. The pressure is not enough
   B. Transfer time is not long enough
   C. Poor quality transfer paper.

5. If transfer paper sticks to the object after transfer:
   A. The temperature is too high
   B. Poor quality printing ink.
