Product Usage Instructions

Get started

1. Download the IKEA Home smart app from the App Store (for Apple devices) or Google Play store (for Android devices).
2. Follow the instructions on the screen to add the product to your smart home system.

Get to know your product
This product is designed to control scenes in a smart home system. There are two buttons (Button 1 and Button 2) on the shortcut button, as well as a pairing button and an LED light.

• Button 1
  Use Button 1 to control your scenes.

• Button 2
  Use Button 2 to control your scenes.

• Pairing button
  The pairing button is used to connect the shortcut button to the DIRIGERA hub and IKEA Home smart app.

• LED light
  The LED light indicates the status of the shortcut button.

Controlling your scenes

• Each button (Button 1 and Button 2) has three press types: single, double, and long-press. You can connect multiple scenes to one button.
• You can connect up to 6 scenes to one shortcut button (3 scenes per button).

Connecting your scenes

1. Open the IKEA Home smart app.
2. Follow the instructions in the app to create a scene.
3. Assign a button press-type (single, double, or long-press) to the scene.
4. The scene will start when you perform the assigned button press on the shortcut button.

Battery care

• When the battery gets low, a red LED light will blink when you press any button.
• DIRIGERA hub and IKEA Home smart app users can view the battery status in the app and receive notifications when the battery starts to run out.

Note: Never use abrasive cleaners or chemical solvents as this can damage the product.

Recommended battery type: 1 x IKEA LADDA 900 (AAA/HR03, 1.2V, 900mAh, Ni- MH) (not included)

Changing the battery

1. Open the battery compartment using a flat object.
2. Replace the old battery with a new AAA/HR03 battery.

Warning: Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect battery type. Dispose of used batteries according to the WEEE instructions at the end of this document.

Care instructions
To clean the shortcut button, wipe it with a soft cloth moistened with a little mild detergent. Use another soft, dry cloth to wipe it dry.

The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol indicates that the item should be disposed of separately from household waste. Please hand in the item for recycling in accordance with local environmental regulations for waste disposal. SOMRIG shortcut button works with DIRIGERA hub and IKEA Home smart app to control smart products. Use the app to tell your smart products what to do and when to do it, then save it as a scene to be controlled by this shortcut button.

Note: this product does not function without the hub and app.

• Download the IKEA Home smart app and follow the instructions on screen to add the product to your smart home system.
• IKEA Home smart app For Apple devices, download the app using the App Store. For Android devices, download the app using Google Play store.
• Note: If you have a TRÅDFRI gateway please use IKEA Home smart 1 app.
