Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

Product Usage Instructions
Step 1: Preparing the Sinus Inhaler
- Ensure the Sinus Inhaler is placed on a firm, flat, waterproof, and heat-resistant surface.
- Make sure the appliance is in a stable position and the power cord is safely out of the way to prevent tipping over.
- Check that the air openings and vents are free of lint, hair, and other materials.
- If the supply cord is damaged, contact the manufacturer or a qualified service agent for replacement.
Step 2: Filling the Water Reservoir
- Before filling, ensure the appliance is unplugged.
- Remove any attachments, including masks, from the Sinus Inhaler.
- Pour water directly into the Water Reservoir. DO NOT overfill.
- Refer to the manufacturer’s instructions if there are any specific requirements for filling the Water Reservoir.
Step 3: Using the Sinus Inhaler
- Plug the Sinus Inhaler into a 230V AC electrical outlet. DO NOT use an extension cord or a power strip.
- Adjust the steam output as desired using the adjustable steam control.
- Keep the Sinus Inhaler under close supervision when in use, especially when used by, on, or near invalids.
- NEVER move the appliance while in use to avoid spills and potential injuries.
- DO NOT use the Sinus Inhaler while sleepy or drowsy.
- Ensure the Sinus Inhaler is not used in an area where aerosol products are being used or where oxygen is being administered.
Step 4: After Use
- Always turn off and unplug the Sinus Inhaler immediately after use.
- Allow the appliance to cool down before handling or cleaning.
- Unplug, empty, and clean the Sinus Inhaler when not in operation or while being cleaned.
- Use dry hands to plug and unplug the appliance. NEVER pull by the cord to unplug.

When the appliance is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the appliance is switched off.

After use the appliance should be cleaned to avoid the accumulation of grease and other residues.

Vicks VapoPads are designed to work with your Steam Inhaler to provide
soothing vapors. The Steam Inhaler accepts up to two Vicks VapoPads.
Enjoy up to 8 hours of soothing comfort per pad.

Using Your Personal Steam Inhaler

Fully unravel cord. Failure to do so could cause overheating and possible fire hazard. DO NOT use with extension cords or power strip. Place Inhaler on a flat, stable surface for use.

Unlock the Top Housing from the Base by twisting the
Top Housing counter clockwise. When fully unlocked, the arrow on the Top Housing will align with the unlock symbol on the Base. Lift the Top Housing straight up and set aside. -
Fill Water Reservoir with up to 2.5 tablespoons (40 mL) of cool tap water. DO NOT fill above Heating Element.
Use with water only. DO NOT add any essential oils, medication or inhalant liquids to the Water Reservoir.
These will damage the unit and void the warranty. -
Place Top Housing on the Base and twist clockwise to lock. When fully locked, you will feel a click and the arrow on the Top Housing will align with the lock symbol on Base.

Place Mask on Top Housing and gently push down to ensure Mask is secure.
CAUTION: NEVER move, lift, shake or tilt the Inhaler while it is in use or while it contains hot water. DO NOT remove the Mask or Top Housing after turning ON the Inhaler. Steam is produced by boiling water; tilting or shaking unit can cause water to spill and possible burns.
CAUTION: DO NOT block any vents. -
Connect cord to electrical outlet. DO NOT use with extension cord or power strip. Press the On/Off Switch to the ON position. The Indicator Light will illuminate.

The Sinus Inhaler will take approximately 6 minutes to begin making steam. Use caution, the Water Reservoir and water will become hot.
-
Place your face over the Mask. DO NOT rest your face on the Mask. Breathe normally through your nose and mouth, inhaling steam into your nasal and throat passages. Continue application for five to fifteen minutes.

Adjusting steam intensity:
A. For More Steam: Move the Steam Disk Control clockwise for maximum steam.
B. For Less Steam: Move the Steam Disk Control counterclockwise for minimum steam. If at any time the application becomes too intense, stop application immediately. -
When application is complete, move Power Switch to the OFF position. The Indicator Light will go out. Disconnect plug from electrical outlet. Allow the appliance to cool for at least 20 minutes before moving or refilling it (see Care and Cleaning section). DO NOT operate Sinus Inhaler when empty.
NOTE: Sinus Inhaler will automatically shut-off when water runs out. If this happens, move Power Switch to OFF position and unplug unit.
Using Vicks VapoPads
Your Vicks Sinus Inhaler can be used with Vicks VapoPads, to provide up to 8
hours of soothing vapors. Two samples of the VapoPads are included with your
device.
To use your unit with scent pads, ensure that the unit is OFF and follow these
instructions:

Gently slide out the VapoPad Tray from the back of the
Top Housing. Note: Only slide Tray out. DO NOT attempt to detach the Tray from the Top Housing. -
Open VapoPad sachet by tearing notch on pad bag.
DO NOT touch pad with hands. If pad is touched, DO NOT rub face or eyes as it may cause irritation. -
Insert Vicks VapoPad with angled end at the front of the tray. Up to two scent pads can be inserted, one in each slot of the VapoPad Tray. Push VapoPad Tray in to close.

When the VapoPad is dried and no longer providing scent, discard.
NOTE: DO NOT operate Sinus Inhaler if VapoPad Tray is missing or not
secured.
For use with Vicks VapoPads only. Not for use with essential oils or
inhalants. These will damage the unit and void the warranty.
This Sinus Inhaler (with or without Vicks VapoPads) is not recommended for use
by children under 8 years.
VapoPads Precautions:
- Not for use by children under 8 years.
- Scent Pad Ingredients: VSP-19 Series: Eucalyptus Oil, Menthol, Glycol, Cedar Leaf Oil & Others.
Care and Cleaning
CAUTION: ALWAYS disconnect the plug from the electrical outlet and let the Sinus Inhaler cool down for at least 20 minutes before cleaning.
After Each Use
- Remove Mask and Top Housing and wipe dry with a clean cloth or paper towel.
- If any water is left in the Water Reservoir, pour water out and wipe Reservoir and Base with a dry, clean cloth or paper towel. NEVER immerse the Base in water or any other liquid.
- Replace Top Housing and Mask; store in a cool, dry place.
Weekly Maintenance
- Remove Mask and Top Housing.
- Pour 2.5 tablespoons (40mL) of undiluted distilled white vinegar into the Water Reservoir and let sit for 10 minutes.
- Empty the distilled white vinegar and rinse out Water Reservoir with fresh, clean tap water. Use caution to not let water get into the electrical areas.
- Dry the Water Reservoir and Base with a clean cloth or paper towel.
- Wash Mask with mild soap and warm water then carefully rinse off all soap with fresh, clean tap water. Dry with a clean cloth or paper towel.
- Replace Top Housing and Mask. Store in a cool, dry place.
- To clean the VapoPad Tray, wet the tip of a cotton swab and wipe slots.
NOTE: The Top Housing is dishwasher safe. It may be cleaned in the Top Rack of the dishwasher or by hand as noted in the instructions. DO NOT place in the bottom rack of dishwasher. DO NOT attempt to dissamble the Top Housing. The Base should NEVER be put in the dishwasher.
After Long Periods of Non-Use
If you haven’t used your Sinus Inhaler for two weeks or longer, follow the
Weekly Maintenance Instructions before the next use.
Condition of Sale
As a condition of sale, the purchaser assumes responsibility for the proper
care and use of this appliance in accordance with our printed instructions.
The purchaser or user must judge for himself or herself when to use it and
length of use.

use.
Following directions carefully will ensure dependable operation. If for any
reason (other than misuse) you are dissatisfied with your Vicks Sinus Inhaler,
we will repair or replace it, at our option, at no charge during the 2 year
warranty period.
Modification to the product by the consumer is not authorised and voids the
warranty.
If you experience unsatisfactory operation, please contact Felton Grimwade &
Bosisto’s. If repair is required under the warranty period, the product should
be returned with proof of purchase to Felton Grimwade & Bosisto’s service
centre.
The purchaser assumes responsibility for the proper care and use of the
product in accordance with the printed operating manual. The purchaser or user
must make his or her judgment as to when to use the product and the length of
use. Keep the operation manual available as it is your guide to safe,
efficient operation.

Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure
and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You
