- If the device is not used for a long time, please press the power button to turn off the Docking Station or disconnect the DC power and USS-C Upstream port.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: DP/HDMI/RJ45/AUX3.5 prots do not work.
A 1: If the Displaylink driver is not properly installed. DP/HDMI/RJ45/AUX3.5
prots wi ll not work properly. Please download and install the latest
Displaylink driver from the Displaylink website: https://www.synaptics.com/
Q2: The device on the USB-A/ USB-C interface is working abnormally.
A2: When the power consumption of USS devices is too high, Docking Station may
not be able to provide sufficient power output. resulting in the product
working abnormally. You can try to unplug the USS devices that are temporarily
not in use to ensure the normal power supply of other devices. Note: Common
high-power USS devices include: USS speakers, USB optical drives, USB hard
drive cases, USB fans, etc. Usually the product will indicate the required
voltage/current/power consumption.
Q3: Why does the 2.4G wireless gamepad/mouse/keyboard connected to the Dock
have a shorter working range, low sensitivity, and repeatedly drop out?
A3: Please connect these devices to the dedicated interface: USB-A
(Mouse/Keyboard/2.4G Wireless Adapter)
Q4: The device does not work.
A4: (1) Check that the DC power supply is plugged in and that the device power
switch is turned on
(2) Check that one end of the USB-C cable is properly plugged into the Docking
Station’s uplink port (not the USB-C data or USB-C PD port) and the other end
is plugged into the laptop’s fully functional USB-C port, not the data or
charging port.
Q5: The image display is abnormal.
A5: (1) This may be caused by using the wrong cable. Be sure to use HDMI
2.0/DP1 .2 or higher version cable, pay attention to the length and quality of
the cable, longer or poorer quality means more signal attenuation, more
interference, and more chance of abnormal image
(2) Loose cable connectors may also be a cause, we recommend you to replace
the HDMI cable with a new one in time
