Precautions
Thank you for purchasing DURLK walkie talkies.
The following precautions should be taken when using product;
- Make sure the channel is correct every time you turn on the walkie talkie. To avoid unnecessary errors, please make sure all the walkie talkies remain on the same channel.
- Keep the walkie talkie upright and ensure its microphone is 3-Scm away from your mouth when you’ re talking.
- Keep the device away from high temperature, dampness, flammable gas, or gas station during use.
- Please hold the device by the main body instead of antenna to avoid possible damages and impact on conversation,
- Don’t frequently turn on and off the device during use. Adjust the volume to a proper level.
- To prevent any problem caused by electromagnetic interference or electromagnetic compatibility, please turn off the device on the areas that are marked with off the walkie talkie, e.g. hospital, airport, gas station or other occasions.
- Do not use the walkie talkie if its antenna is damaged.
- Never let the device contact with any electroconductive material like jewels, keys, chains, or other metal objects.
- If the device didn’t give you response after pressing a specific button, its keypad may be locked, To unlock the keypad, just press and hold the Menu/Lock button for3 seconds until the’ symbol disappears.

Battery Installation/ Replacement

Pry the elastic buckle out.

Push the belt clip upward

Take off the battery cover

Install/Replace with Li-ion batteries
- There is a battery indication on the LCD screen. When the full capacity symbol turns into empty capacity the walkie talkie will beep periodically after releasing PTT button. To prevent automatic shutdown or abnormal use, please replace the batteries in time,
Note: Remove the batteries before storage or when the device won’t be used for a long time.
0peration Instruction
Power on/off
- The walkie talkie will power on automatically after batteries are installed for the first time.
- To turn on the unit, press and hold the Power/Scan button for 3s.
- To turn off the unit, press and hold the Power/Scan button for 3s again.
Adjust the Volume
Press the Up button to increase the volume while press the Down button to
decrease the volume.
There are total 16 volume levels available. A digital volume grade on the
screen lets you know the details. You can press PTT button to confirm the
setting.
Channel Settings
To guarantee normal performance, make sure both the main channels and
interference eliminator codes of all walkie talkies are the same.
- Press the Menu button for the first time, then you can set the main channel. There are total 8 main channels. Press the Up or Down button to select the desired one and confirm the settings with PTT button.
- Press the Menu button again to set the interference eliminator codes. There are total 121 interference eliminator codes. Press the Up or Down button to choose required one, and press the PTT button on the left side to confirm.
Ringtone Settings
In a power-on state, the 3rd time pressing the Menu button can set the
ringtone. The LCD screen displays a CA symbol and the ringtone code flashes.
There are total 10 different ringtones available. At this time, press the Up
or Down button to choose the ringtone needed and save the settings by pressing
the PTT button.
Sensitivity Settings
- A proper sensitivity can help minimize the unintended noises during conversation. In a power-on state, the 4th time pressing the Menu button can adjust the sensitivity.
- When the LCD screen displays a co synnbol , press the Up or Down button to select the desired level and save the settings by pressing the PTT button.
- 3 = high sensitivity (fits for quiet occasions)
- 2 = medium sensitivity (fits for most occasions)
- 1 = low sensitivity (fits for noisy occasions)
Squelch Settings
- In a power-on state, the 5th time pressing the Menu button can set the squelch level. When the LCD screen displays a SL symbol, press the Up or Down button to choose the one needed and save the settings by pressing the PTT button.
- 1 = high receiver sensitivity
- 2~5 = medium receiver sensitivity
- 6= low receiver sensitivity
TX Power Settings
- In a power-on state, the 6th time pressing the Menu button can set the transmission power level. When the LCD screen displays a PR symbol, press the Up or Down button to set it as LO or HI and confirm the settings with PTT button.
- TX PR means the setup of tranmission power, generally including high level and low level. Under high transmission power, the walkie talkie outputs the maximum power, the transmission distance is the farthest but it has large radiation and power consumption, Under low transmission power, the walkie talkie outputs in a low power but you can use them when you are close to your partner(s) to save energy, prolong the service life as well as reduce radiation hazards.
Auxiliary Functions
Timeout Timer
- To prevent accidental transmission and save battery life, the walkie talkie is designed to automatically emit continuous warning tone if you press and hold PTT button for talking over 60seconds.
Keypad Lock
- To avoid accidentally changing settings, you can press and hold the Menu/ Lock button for 3 seconds or until the ‘9symbol displays on the screen. In the keypad locking state, you can still turn on/off the device,
- transmit or receive signals, send a rlngtone or scan channels.
- To unlock the keypad, press and hold the Menu/ Lock button again for 3 seconds until the’9 symbol disappears.
Scanning/Monitoring
- This function can monitor transmission channels or find out someone in your group who has accidentally changed channels.
Simply press the Power/Scan button to scan channels and the z symbol will display on the screen. The device will automatically stop scanning and you can hear transmission voice when it detects available channel signals. To respond the transmission, please press the PTT button within 5 seconds.
VOX Mode
- In the off state, press the PTT button and Power button simultaneously until you see the i; symbol on the screen. The device enters VOX mode.
- Speak to the microphone and the device will automatically transmit your voice. There is a short delay between the time you speak and it transmits.
- To turn off the VOX function, simply short press the PTT button.
Factory Reset
Please turn off the walkie talkies, Press & Hold “MENU and Power” button,
walkie talkies will reset factory default setting
Troubleshooting

How to ensure that all walkie talkies can communicate smoothly?
Make sure the main channels and interference eliminator codes bands of all walkie talkies are the same.
Make sure all walkie talkies are within the transmission distance. It can reach up to 3km in absolutely open area.
If the surrounding buildings are dense or there is much electromagnetic radiation interference from nearby, it will affect the communication to some extent. Change to another place for better performance. -
How to make the battery last longer?
When the walkie talkie is not in use, please turn off the device or remove the batteries out of compartment.
If the walkie talkies are close to each other or when there is less interference, switch the TX power setting into LO (take reference of section -
7).
Set a more reasonable volume level based on your current surroundings.
