When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be token including the following:

1. Read all instructions before using this appliance.
2. Use fan only for purposes described in the instruction manual.
3. This fan is not intended for continuous operation or equivalent.
4.  To protect against electrical shock do not immerse unit, plug or cord in water or spray with liquids and plug the appliance directly into a 120V AC electrical outlet.
5.  Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children.
6.  Not intended for use by children.
7.  Unplug from outlet when not in use, when moving fan from one location to another, before putting on or toking off ports and before cleaning.
8.  Avoid contact with moving ports.
9. Do not operate in the presence of explosive and/or flammable fumes.
10. To avoid fire hazard, never place the cord under rugs or any ports near an open flame, cooking or other heating appliance.
11. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, after the appliance malfunctions, or has been dropped/damaged in any manner. Discord fan or contact customer service.
12. Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runner, or similar coverings. Do not route cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
13. The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer may cause hazards.
14. Do not let the cord hong over the edge of a table, counter or come in contact with hot surfaces or leave exposed to high traffic areas.
15. Do not use outdoors.
16.  To disconnect, grip plug and pull from wall outlet. Never yank on cord.
17.  Always use on a dry, level surface.
18. Do not operate fan until fully assembled with all ports properly in place.
19.  This product is intended for household use only and not for commercial or industrial applications.
20. WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not use this fan with any solid-state speed control device.
21. WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons, do not use replacement ports or attachments not recommended by the manufacturer [e.g. ports mode at home using a 3D printer).
22.  This fan employs overload protection (fuse). A blown fuse indicates on overload or short-circuit situation. If the fuse blows, unplug the product from the outlet. Replace the fuse as per the user servicing instructions (follow product marking for proper fuse roting) andcheck the product. If the replacement fuse blows, g short circuit may be present and the product should be discorded or contact customer service.

Parts And Assembel

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS (SEE FIGURE 1)
NOTE: MAKE SURE YOU REMOVE ALL CONTENTS OF THE PACKAGE. PLEASE CHECK PACKAGING MATERIALS FOR PARTS THAT COULD BE REQUIRED TO OPERATE THIS FAN.
Tools required: Phillips head screw driver (not included). Estimated assembly time: 5-10 minutes

1. Remove L-shopped Locking Screw (T) and Washer (S) from the Outer Pole (P). Place Outer Pole (P) overlap of the base. Insert the threaded end of the L-shopped Locking Screw (T) into the hole of the Washer (S) and through the base. Turn the L-shaped locking screw (I) dowse to securely attach the pole to the base.
2. Loosen Fond Post Screw (M) and slide Motor Housing (Kl over top of Extension Pole (N). Tighten Fond Post Screw (M).
3. Line up the 2 holes of the Rear Grill ( H) with the posts on the Motor Housing ( K) assembly. When properly aligned, the handle (I) of the rear grill should be in the 12 o’clock position.
4.  Secure Rear Grill (H) to Motor Housing (Kl with Rear Grill Mounting Nut (G). Turn clockwise to tighten.
5. Slide Blade (Fl over Motor Shaft (J).
6. Secure fan blade to motor shaft with the Blade Cop (E). Turn counterclockwise to tighten.
7. Open the expandable Grill Clips (D) located around the perimeter of the Front Grill (B).
8. Remove the nut from the Grill Locking Screw (C) and align the hole located at the bottom of the Rear Grill (H) with the hole at the bottom of the Front Grill (B).
9.  Close all the Grill Clips (D) around the perimeter of the grill.
10. Insert the screw into the hole at the bottom of the grill. Using a Phillips head screw driver secure the nut over the back of the Grill Locking Screw (C).

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS (SEE FIGURE 2)

1. Set fan base on a dry, level stable surface.

2. Plug cord into any standard 120 volt AC outlet.

3. To turn the fan on, press the Power Button (]) located on the control pone or remote control. The fan will start running in the lowest setting “L” (LOW).

4.  Press the speed button to cycle through the below 3 speed settings in sequence. The corresponding Speed Setting Indicator Light (9) will illuminate to confirm the selection: L-Low M-Medium H-High

5. To turn the oscillation on and off, press the Oscillation Button ( 4) located on the control panel or remote control.

6. To set your fan to automatically shut off, press the Timer Button (3) located on the control panel or the remote control. The corresponding Timer Indicator Light (8) will illuminate to confirm selection. When set, the fan will run and automatically shut off ofter the set aurotion of time (0.5-7.5 hours) has expired.

7.  To activate BREEZE mode, press the Mode Button (5) on the control panel or remote control. The corresponding Mode Indicator Light (7) will illuminate to confirm selection. The fan will cycle through alternating speeds with brief pauses to simulate a natural outdoor breeze. To activate SLEEP mode, press the Mode Button again. This function slows the BREEZE setting by one level every ten minutes until it reaches LOW.

8.  To silence setting confirmation beeps, press the Mute Button ( 6) located on the remote control. To reactivate setting confirmation beeps, press the Mute Button ( 6) again.

9.  To turn the fan off press the Power Button ( 1 ) located on the control panel or remote control.

Features Operations

TILT ADJUSTMENT
Gently move the fan head up or down manually to the desired angle.
HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT

1. Turn the Height Adjustment Collar (0) counterclockwise to loosen pole.
2. Adjust the Extension Pole (N) to the desired height, and firmly tighten the height adjustment collar in a clockwise direction.

REMOTE CONTROL (SEE FIGURE 3)
NOTE: PLEASE REMOVE THE PROTECTIVE PLASTIC FROM THE REMOTE CONTROL BATTERY BEFORE OPERATION.
This unit induces one lithium button cell battery, CR2025/3V.
Remove batteries before discording the remote.x
Battery Replacement
Button cell batteries should be disposed of properly, including keeping them away from children. Even used button cell batteries may cause injury.

1. Locate the battery comportment on the bottom back of the remote control handset. Push tab and pull battery troy.
2.  Pull out old battery.
3.  Place new battery into battery troy.
4.  Slide battery troy into the battery comportment of the remote control handset.

NOTES:

1. Remove the battery from the remote control when it is not being used for an extended period of time.
2. Remove used batteries promptly.
3. Do not discord used batteries into household trash containers. Contact your local government for disposal or recycling practices in your area.

Operations  / Cleaning/ Maintenance

USER SERVICING INSTRUCTIONS
Follow these instructions to safely and correctly care for this fan.
REPLACEABLE FUSE
If the (2.5 Amp, 125 Volt) replaceable fuse blows, please visit our website at www.getholmesfans.com for information on how to order a new fuse. Follow the below instructions to replace the fuse on the plug.
REPLACING THE FUSE

1. Unplug the fan.
   Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle or other outlet device.
   NOTE: Do not unplug by pulling on cord.

2.  Open fuse cover, located on the top of the plug, by using your thumb or a flathead screwdriver to slide the cover towards the prongs.
   NOTE: Ensure the fuse cover is completely open before attempting to remove fuse.

3.  Remove fuse carefully by using a small screwdriver to pry it from the compartment at the metal ends of the fuse. (See Figure Z)

4. Place plug on a solid, flat surface. Insert new 2.5 Amp, 125 Volt fuse into fuse compartment. Use a small screwdriver to secure the metal ends of the fuse into the compartment.
   CAUTION: Risk of fire. Replace fuse only with 2.5 Amp, 125 Volt fuse.

5. Slide fuse cover closed completely.
   NOTE: If fuse cover is difficult to close, make sure the fuse is completely secured in place by pressing on metal ends of the fuse.
   CAUTION: Risk of tire. Do not replace the attachment plug, It contains safely device (fuse) that should not be removed. Discard product if the attachment plug is damaged.

FAN CLEANING

•  Always unplug the fan before cleaning.
• Do not allow water to drip on or into the fan housing.
• Use only a soft doth moistened with a mild soap solution.
• Do not use harsh chemicals such as gasoline, thinner or benzene as a cleaner.

FAN BLADE CLEANING

1. Unplug the fan.
2.  Remove the front grill by opening the clips located around the perimeter.
3.  Clean the fan blade, front and rear grills with a soft doth moistened with a mild soap solution.
   Securely fasten the front grill to the rear grill by closing the clips over the perimeter.

FAN HEAD, BASE AND POLE CLEANING
Unplug fan. Then using a soft, moist cloth (with or without a mild soap solution), carefully clean the fan base, pole and head.
Use CAUTION around the housing area. Do not allow the motor or other electrical components to be exposed fan water.
FAN STORAGE
This fan can be stored either partially disassembled or assembled.

• Store the fan in a clean, dry location between seasons or when not in use for an extended period of time.
• Keep the fan protected from dirt and dust during storage.

NOTE: This fan can also be used during the cold winter season to circulate warm air throughout your home.
