GENERAL SAFETY REGULATIONS

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE

  1. When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following.
  2. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse the cord, plug, or any part of the appliance in water or other liquid.
  3. Close supervision is necessary if the appliance is to be used by or near children.
  4. Unplug from the outlet before assembling, disassembling, cleaning, and when not in use.
  5. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or if the appliance has malfunctioned in any manner. Return the appliance to the manufacturer for examination and repair.
  6. The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury.
  7. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  8. Make sure all parts are assembled firmly before turning on the motor. Do not disassemble before the motor completely stops.
  9. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, in a heated oven, or other heat source.
  10. Observe the appliance when it is in operation.
  11. Do not disassemble the base.
  12. Do not put any foreign materials into the juicer.
  13. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table or counter or touch heated surfaces.
  14. Do not put your fingers or other objects into the juicer while it is in operation. food becomes lodged in the opening, use the pushing tool or another piece of fruit or vegetable to dislodge the food. If this method does not work, turn off the machine, remove the plug from the wall outlet, and disassemble the juicer to remove the remaining food.
  15. Keep the appliance clean. Refer to the Cleaning instructions in this manual.
  16. Please do not use it for more than 10 minutes at a time. Allow the motor to cool after 10 minutes of use. The unit will shut off automatically after 20 minutes of continuous operation. If this occurs, allow it to cool for about 20 minutes.

ASSEMBLY

  1. Assemble the Feeding Chute, Auger, filter, Joint Component, and end cap in sequence. (Figure 1)
  2. insert this combination into the hole on the Host Unit, and rotate it counter clockwise till it’s locked. You will hear a “tick” sound. C Figure2-3)
    Tips:
    If the component is hard to plug into the host unit, press the Start or Reverse button to let the motor rotate a while first.

USING THE SLOW JUICER

  1. Plug in the power plug.

  3. Press the “Start” button. Tips:
  4. Putting in too much or too thick of ingredients may cause the machine to stop operation.
  5. lf ingredients got jammed during operation, press the “Stop” button first, then press the “Reverse” button twice and stay pressing for 3-5 sec to release the foods inside.
  6. Make sure to remove any hard seeds or pits, such as cherry or plum pits, as it will not process in the Slow Juicer and can damage the Auger.
  7. DO NOT force-push or over-stuff the foods inside the unit.
  8. it is best to insert food at a slow pace, allowing all pulp to be extracted from the fruit or vegetable completely.
  9. Reminder: tum off the unit when juicing is complete.
    DO NOT RUN THE UNIT WITHOUT ANY FOOD INSIDE THE UNIT AS THIS COULD OVERHEAT THE MOTOR.

WHAT WE PREPARE FOR YOU

DISASSEMBLY & CLEANING

  1. Press “Stop” Button.
  2. Press the locking clip, rotate and take off the Feeding Chute.
  3. Disassemble as shown below.
  4. Rinse with water. All parts are dishwasher-safe.

USING TIPS

SLOW JUICING TIPS:
Follow the suggestions below for the best results. A slow juicer operates differently than a traditional juicer.

  1. Do not put any frozen fruit, vegetables, or ice into the unit.
  2. Combine leafy greens with a variety of fruits for the best results.
  3. When juicing foods like carrots or beets, it is necessary to combine them with other fruits and vegetables with a higher water content to increase the amount of juice yielded
  4. When juicing foods with a lot of seeds like tomatoes and cucumbers, the filter might clog. Pour water through the Hopper to unclog it before continuing to juice. It is recommended to disassemble the filler and wash ii first before continuing to juice.

CLEANING TIPS

  1. Switch the unit off, and disconnect it from the power source.
  2. Remove the hopper from the unit.
  3. Rotate the Feeding Chute counterclockwise to the unlock position. 4. Disassemble the juicing component.
  4. Using the Cleaning Brush, thoroughly clean each of the disassembled parts using warm soapy water.
  5. Hand washing is recommended. All of the detachable parts can be safely washed in the dishwasher.
  6. Remember to thoroughly clean the small fins on the filter as small food particles might get stuck on them.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • a . Don’t use any abrasive cloths or liquids like ammonia or strong household cleaners.
  • b . Do not rinse the base or submerge it in water.
  • c. D ry a ll attachments before using.

FOR TOUGH STAINS
Because the carotenoids found in many vegetables have staining properties, the Slow Juicer may develop deepset stains overtime. To remove, we suggest using ONE of the following cleaning procedures:

  1. Soak in mild soapy water.
  2. Soak in equal parts warm water and cider vinegar

Please troubleshoot using the details below.

THE APPLIANCE DOES NOT WORK

  1. Make sure the power cord is plugged in correctly.

  2. Make sure the Feeding Chute is assembled correctly. If the drum is not locked into place the appliance will not operate.

  3. Make sure the appliance is assembled according to the instructions in this manual. Refer to the instructions.

  4. lf the appliance still does not work, please contact our customer support.

  5. lf there is a lot of pulp inside the Feeding Chute, press Reverse to release the excess pulp.
    THE DRUM DOES NOT OPEN

  6. Check the appliance for any foreign substance or solid objects including seeds.

  7. Press the Reverse button to dislodge stuck ingredients.

  8. Do not attempt to open by force. If the drum still does not open, please contact our customer support.
    THE APPLIANCE STOPS DURING NORMAL OPERATION

  9. Check for large pieces of food stuck in the appliance.

  10. If the appliance still does not work, please contact our customer support.
    FIN ELIN ES OR SCRATCH MARKS AROUND THE AUGER

  11. This is normal. Do not be concerned. These are molding marks resulting from the normal manufacturing process.
    JUICE LEAKS OVER THE BASE

  12. Check for an excessive amount of ingredients in the hopper and/or chute.

  13. lf you try to juice a large amount of food compared to the hopper the components will be forced apart and juice may leak out.

  14. Do not force too much food into the juicer. Push food gradually.

  15. Check to make sure the juice flap is closed.
    JUICER SHAKES WHEN IN-USE

  16. This is normal as the auger rotates. II is not a map function. Hard ingredients such as carrots, potatoes, radishes, beets, etc. may cause shaking more than soft ingredients.

LIMITED WARRANTY

  1. The benefit of this Warranty extends only to the owner who installs and uses the product which is manufactured or supplied by the Seller for the duration of the Warranty Period.
  2. The warranty commences from the date of purchase of the product for the benefit of the owner. During the warranty period, if the product has a manufacturing defect and fails to meet the Seller’s specifications, then the Seller will, at its sole discretion:
  3. a.) Repair or replace the Product at the cost of the Seller. Goods repaired or replaced will be warranted for the remaining period of the Warranty.
  4. b) Refund the purchase price paid by the consumer
  5. The Warranty does not apply to Products that :
  6. a) Has failed due to excessive wear and tear beyond what is considered to be reasonable.
  7. b.) Has been misused or neglected.
  8. c.) Has been damaged accidentally or by acts of God including fire and flooding.
  9. d.) Has been used or operated contrary to operating or maintenance instructions.
  10. e) Has been damaged by the Consumer or a third party authorized in transit from the Seller’s store to the Consumer.
  11. To claim the Warranty, the Owner must return the goods to the Seller at the Owner’s cost. Proof of purchase must be supplied in all cases.
  12. If Seller examines returned Products and determines that there is an apparent defect through no fault of the Owner, the Seller will:
  13. a.) Make note of the Owner’s contact details including the Owner’s telephone number which the owner can be contacted during business hours, postal address and e-mail address.
  14. b.) Make note of the defects reported by the Owner.
  15. c.) Take back the defective goods from the owner and determine within a reasonable time through dialogue with the Seller whether the goods are defective.
  16. d.) Advise the owner within a reasonable time frame whether it accepts or rejects the Product cl im.
  17. e.) If the Seller accepts the return of the Product, the Seller must arrange to have
  * The Product repaired or,
  * Replace the damaged or faulty Product or,
  * Refund the purchase price.
  1. The Selle will not accept any returned Product which has not been returned strictly under this Warranty.
  2. All components have a 2-year warranty.
