Introduction
Thank you for purchasing our coal primer! We are confident that you will be as excited about the functionality and quality of our product as we are. As hookah enthusiasts, we use our products ourselves, develop them constantly and know what is important. To ensure that you enjoy this device for as long as possible, we ask that you carefully read and follow the instructions below.
General provisions
- The operating voltage is 110 volts, 50-60 Hz, the power is 450 watts.
- Before use, please check whether your mains voltage matches the mains voltage marked on the underside of the coal lighter.
- Please connect the coal lighter directly to a socket with protective conductor.
- Only operate the firelighter if the power cord is intact and the plug properly fits into the outlet. Always pull the plug out of the socket with both hands. % Do not pull on the cable to move the coal lighter or wrap the device.
- Please do not carry out any modifications or repairs to the lighter itself. Assign a specialist.
- Always place the coal lighter on a stable and smooth surface.
- Please avoid using the coal primer on non-heat-resistant surfaces such as carpet, laminate, soft plastic surfaces, etc.
- Please make sure there is enough free space around the coal lighter of 10 cm on all sides, so that the excess heat can escape from the ventilation slots.
- Please do not use the coal lighter near a fire or in damp places. Water and fire can damage the coal lighter.
- Please do not use the device on a windowsill or directly at the window.
- Never leave the carbon lighter unsupervised during use.
- Please make sure that children do not have access to the coal lighter.
- Please leave the power cord plugged in for at least 10 seconds after use to allow the cooktop to cool down first. Then switch off the device and remove the cable from the socket at least 10 seconds later.
- CAUTION! The surface of the coal lighter is hot during operation and for some time thereafter! Do not touch the lighters with your bare hands during this time. Please check the charcoal lighter for completeness and perfect condition prior to each use and only use the appliance if this has been ensured.
ATTENTION: risk of burns and injuries! The surface of the coal lighter (housing and heating coil) become very hot during operation. Even after switching off the hot surfaces of the coal lighter are still hot for some time!
Preparation before the first use
The heating coil was rubbed with wax to protect against rust damage and should
be made to glow for the first use for 10-20 minutes without coal at the
highest level.
This gives the spiral the highest degree of protection. This is also necessary
to avoid a possible unpleasant taste and smell when smoking your shisha. The
first time you apply a short-term harmless odor development is normal.
Commissioning
- Place the supplied stainless-steel grid centered on the coal lighter with the feet down. This protects the coating of the heating coil and extends the life of your coal lighter. % Connect the power cable of the coal starter to the socket.
- Place the pieces of coal on the carbon mesh. Set the temperature control to the highest level to achieve the fastest heating of the coals. When the desired temperature is reached, the indicator goes off automatically.
- The Fire Tower coal lighter is equipped with a premium thermostat, which ensures that the desired temperature is reached sleeplessly and the unit does not overheat. The thermostat shifts around the set temperature level and switches the device on and off to ensure a constant temperature. % Apply the natural coal as soon as it is half-annealed.
- Switch off the coal lighter by setting the temperature regulator to the lowest setting when the coals have completely burned out.
- Disconnect the power cord from the power outlet for about 10 seconds after turning off the carbon lighter.
Care and maintenance
- Please clean the coal lighter after each use. Make sure that the device is not connected to the mains and has cooled down.
- Please use a slightly damp cloth and no cleaning agents, benzine, steel brushes or solvents or thinners for cleaning. “ Please do not hold under running water.
- Always keep the coal lighter in a dry place. Moisture leads to rust and malfunction of the device.

label and the package of the coal lighter:
The symbol of the crossed-out dustbin indicates that this electrical or
electronic device must not be disposed of with household waste at the end of
its service life. For collection, there are free collection points for
electrical and electronic appliances in your area. The addresses can be
obtained from your city or local government. Recycling and recycling are B

Warranty
The M. ROSENFELD Fire Tower coal burner is covered by the statutory warranty. Within the statutory period, defects based on material or manufacturing defects are remedied. Excluded from this are damage to fragile parts and damage caused by excessive use, improper handling and use, as well as by ignoring and disregarding the instructions for use. Furthermore, damage caused by wear or due to normal wear and tear is excluded. In the event of foreign intervention, the warranty also expires. In these cases, the seller will assume no liability in the event of damage. If you find a defect, please return the complete device to your dealer / seller. Warranty claims are only valid in connection with the corresponding invoice.
