Operating your Fan
Always choose a safe location for the appliance, keeping in mind the safety
precautions outlined. Ensure all packaging has been removed from the appliance
before use. This appliance requires no installation, it should be used solely
as a portable appliance.
WARNING: Keep all objects at least 1 meter from the front, sides, and
rear of the appliance.
For best operating performance position the appliance in a location that will
create a ‘flow through’ air effect. The greatest cooling effect will be felt
if the appliance is operated in a partly opened doorway or window with the
‘cool’ conditioned air directed into the room to be cooled.
It is important to also have a door or window partly opened away from the
cooler to create this ‘flow through’ effect.
On days of high humidity, the cooling effect may be reduced as the air
entering the filter may already be saturated with moisture. On days like this,
it may be better to switch the cooling feature OFF and operate the appliance
as a fan only.
Filling water tank
Pour clean cold water into the water filler area on the top of the appliance,
observing the water level indicator in the bottom front panel.
CAUTION do not spill or allow water to come in contact with the control
panel.
Do not overfill past the MAX water indicator mark. If desired, place ice in
the ice tank at the top of the appliance.
Do not pour water into the ice tank.
Do not allow the combined use of water and ice to overfill the water
reservoir.
When moving the appliance, do so with extreme caution, so as not to spill any
water in the reservoir. The appliance should be moved slowly and in a sideways
direction. Always keep the appliance upright.
Control Panel Place the unit on a dry, level, and
sturdy surface.
Ensure the speed control is at the OFF position before plugging the power cord
into the socket.
The ON/OFF LED for the power will light to indicate that there is the power to
the appliance.
On/Off
Turn the appliance ON by pressing the ON/OFF button. The appliance will start
in the default mode of normal/low-speed setting.
Speed
Press speed to change fan speed from ‘high-mid-low’, and the relevant speed
indicator LED will light up.
Timer
If you wish to turn the appliance off at a pre-determined time press the timer
button. The appliance can be set to turn off at any time between 1 hour and 7
hours. To set the timer, turn the appliance on at the desired speed, and press
the timer button until the desired run time is illuminated. The fan will turn
off once the time has expired. If no time is selected, the appliance will
operate continuously.
Cool Mode
To initiate the cooling function press the cool button. This function blows
normal air through a water curtain to cool the air. Press the button again to
switch this function off and the appliance will operate in fan-only mode.
Note: You must have water in the water tank for this function to work.
Note: It will take a few minutes for the cooler air to come out of the
appliance.

down to suit.
The vertical louvers can be set in your desired direction or allowed to
oscillate by pressing the swing button.
Sleep Mode
Programmed to provide comfort while the user is asleep.

control.
