INSEETECH Q6 Wireless Outdoor Solar Security Camera User Guide
Please read the instructions carefully before using the product and keep it
properly.
As the App version may be updated, there will be changes. This manual is only
for reference.

3. Download and install the APP
Scan the QR code below and install the App or search for “Tuya Smart” in App Store and Google Play.
4. Sign up for a Tuya account
5. Device connection
Note:
- Fully charge the camera with USB cable for 10 hours before initial use. The camera with built-in battery pack supports DC 5V2A.
- A Micro SD card(not included) is needed to record video. (Please format the Micro SD card into FAT32 before initial use.)
1. Turn on the camera:
Power on:
Press and hold power button for 3 seconds to turn on the camera. User will
hear a prompt and see the flashing red light which means the camera is ready
to connect to WiFi. Continue the second step, open the App.
Reset:
Press and hold for 5 to 8 seconds to reset. User will hear the prompt twice
and see the flashing red light.
Power off:
Press and hold for 10 to 15 seconds to turn off. User will hear the prompt for
three times and the indicator light is off.

- If you fail to connect to the device by scanning QR code, choose Wi-Fi mode and follow the instructions below.
- If you fail in both ways, contact us.

1. PIR is sensitive to cold and hot disturbance. Note during installation:
- Avoid the places where the air is churning such as air conditioning outlet, cooling vent, or areas near the fan.
- Do not install the device directly in front of the glass or mirror.
- The recommended installation height is about 2.5m-3m.
- Do not invert the device.
2. Battery life is affected by the trigger frequency and time. So human
detection function is suggested to be turned off. When in a crowded place,
choose low PIR sensitivity to reduce trigger frequency and save power. When
the device is low in power, charge it in time. If the battery is underpowered
for a long time, it may cause battery failure.
3. During the installation, ensure that WiFi signal is stable and can reach
the installation location. If WiFi signal is weak, a WiFi router should be
added to improve the signal.
4. The device is a low-power intelligent product. You can use APP to activate
the camera remotely. With PIR human detection, it can wake up automatically.
When not operating, it will automatically enter the sleep state.
5. To ensure that the device can work normally, use the DC 5V2A charger and
original USB cable to charge the camera for 10 hours before initial use. Do
not use a mobile power bank to charge it, or it may cause a short circuit.
6. The device only supports 2.4GHz WiFi rather than 5GHz WiFi .
8. Troubleshooting
1. Network connection fails:
- check if the camera is turned on.
- The phone, camera and router are close enough to each other.
- Note: It only supports 2.4GHz WiFi.
- check whether the WiFi name and password you enter are correct.
2. The device is disconnected:
- check whether the router is operating normally.
- check the network connection of the camera. If you change the router and the WiFi password, you need to reset the camera and reconnect to WiFi.
- check whether the camera battery is exhausted. You can use the USB power cable to charge it and try to connect again.
3. User can’t preview in App:
- Maybe the server is busy. Please try again later.
4. No alarm notification is pushed:
- Make sure that the APP get notification permissions.
- Make sure that you turn on app notifications in the settings of your Message Center.
- The PIR should be turned on in the settings.
5. No video files:
- insert the SD card before powering on.
- Make sure that the camera’s PIR is turned on in the App.
- The camera’s recording should be turned on in the App.
- check whether the SD card can store files normally in the APP. If not, please try to format the SD card.
6. The battery drain so fast:
- In a crowded place, the human detection function will be triggered frequently. The camera keeps working for a long time and consumes power quickly. You can change the PIR sensitivity and choose low sensitivity.
- It will also consume much power to view video playback files for a long time.
- check whether the WiFi signal is stable. If not, the device may wake up for several times to connect to WiFi and consume power quickly.
- You can change the position of the device or the router.
7. Confirm that the device connects to WiFi properly:
- Try to trigger PIR and wait for3 seconds. When the blue light stays on, the device is connected properly. When the indicator light keeps flashing, the device fail to connect to WiFi.
8. The device has been bound to another user:
If the device is bound to another user, try to reset the device . Press and
hold the power button/reset button for 5 to 8 seconds. Then you will hear the
prompt twice and see the flashing red light. After doing that, if it still
doesn’t work, please contact us.

This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are
designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a
residential installation. This equipment can generates, uses and radiate radio
frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the
instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However,
there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular
installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or
television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off
andon, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or
more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
- consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
NOTE 2:
Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible
for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
