Device Overview

Power on: Plug in the camera.
Reset: Press and hold the reset button firmly enough for 10 seconds or more until you hear the voice instruction. Or tap “Remove Device” in Settings of the Tuya APP and reconnect it

Download and Install the APP

Scan the QR code below, or search for “Tuya Smart” in Google Play and App Store. Then download and install the APP.

Register a Tuya Account and Log in

  1. Enter your mobile phone number or email address.

  2. Enter the verification code and set the password, then tap login

Set up the Camera

  1. Plug in the camera.

Note: After the camera is powered on successfully, you should wait for more than 30 seconds to hear the “Welcome” sound. After the voice sound, the camera will automatically turn a circle.

  1. Connection in QR code mode:

  3. Tap “Camera & Lock” and “Smart camera (2 4GHz & SGHz)”

  4. Check if the camera is plugged in and tap “Next”

  5. Enter WiFi account & password, then tap “Next”

  6. Point the QR code on the app towards the camera from 15 to 20cm away. The App will autocomplete the device configuration and the camera wil play a prompt sound after identifying the QR code. Then tap *| Heard a Prompt”.

  7. The device is being added.

  8. Congratulations! The device is connected.

Install the Camera

Here are some operating instructions on how to install this camera on the ceiling

  1. Determine a position for installation.

  2. Drill holes for the mounting bracket

  3. Drill in screws.

  4. Mount the camera.

  5. Plug n the camera

  6. Afer installing the camera upside down, fip the screen to adjust the images by tapping the icon of “Settings”—”Basic Function Setings —*Flip Screen”

APP Instruction

Live View

  • Provide access to the camera’s setting.
  • Choose the definition for real-time view
  • Enable or disable to hear the sound
  • Zoom in or out the camera view
  • Camera in a full-screen mode
  • Manually capture the real-time view
  • Click to call.
  • Manually record the real-time view
  • More options of “Features”.

Settings

Private Mode
Tap to tum off the live view.


Basic Function Settings

  • Flip Screen:
    “This function is mainly used to adjust the fipping of images.

  • Time watermark:
    Time watermark enables to show time on live view.

  • Talk Mode:
    Talk Mode enables to choose One-Way Communication and Two-Way Talk. One-Way Communication allows the speaker talk o another person but no respond; Two-Way Talk allows the speaker talk to another person and gets respond from another person.

IR Night Mode
Set the camera’s night vision mode in the night. ‘The camera will capture black-and-white images that usually appear during the night with the IR LEDs on.

Sounds
Setthe volume of sound emitted by the camera during a two-way call

Detection Alarm Setings
With advanced Al algorithm, this smart camera will detect motion, track the movement automatically and push alerls in Tuya App.

  1. Motion Detection Alarm: Motion detection alarm allows camera to detect motion and then push a notification for you. If you want to tum off the push function, please disable it

  2. Alarm sensitivity level: ‘The alarm sensitivity level can be set for motion detection and smart detection. If you set the sensitivity to high, then camera will capture more. motion. You can adjust the sensitivity from Low, Medium to High.

  3. Surveillance Area Setting
    Surveillance area setting can customize the area you care about

  4. Human Body Filering
    When this human body fiing is enabled, it means that the camera only. detects the human body and does ot detect other moving objects.

  5. Motion Tracking:
    When this Motion Tracking is enabled, it means that once the camera detects. ‘a moving object, it wil rotate the lens according to the trajectory of the moving object.

  6. Schedule:
    Seta push Schedule if you need. You can set the time period during which to push or tum off alarm messages. Note: This requires twoseparate times to take effect during this time period.

  7. Trigger Siren:
    Once the camera detects an object, it will automaticaly emit a beep alarm,

  8. Siren Adjustment
    Tap to adjust the duration time of siren.

Storage Settings
With an SD card installed, the camera can store video recordings to the SD card.

Note: The WiFi camera supports an 8G-128G SD card (not included). After inserting a new SD card, please click “Format” to format the SD  «card before using it.

Recording Settings

  • Local recording allows recording the videos. ~Recording Mode can be selected between event recording and non-stop recording. If Event Recording is selected, camera will only record when motion is detected. If Non-Stop recording is selected, camera will record every minute of every day.
  • You can set a schedule to specify the days and times during the week when your camera is set to respond to detect,

Share Device
Tap to share device to family or friends.
Note:

  1. Device sharing is available when your family or friends have also registered their own accounts on the Tuya Smart app.
  2. There are up to 4 family members that can check the live stream simultaneously in Tuya.
  3. To protect privacy, only the main user has permission to set up the camera.

Add to Home Screen
‘Add security camera to home page so as to have easy access (o live view.

Device Update
‘Allow auto upgrade for a better experience.

Restart & Remove Device

  • Restart Device: To restart the camera.
  • Remove Device: To reset the camera,

Playback and Download Recordings

Playback
Tap “Playback” con to show the-recordings only.
Replay the recordings saved to the SD card. Select a date to search the recordings. Side through the timeline to pinpoint the recordings you want to replay.

Download Recordings

  1. Click the “Recording” icon to record the selected video, and then ciick ths icon again to end the recording. This wil automatically save the selected recorded video in the “Gallery”.

  2. Click on the “Galry” icon, enter the Albus section, and then click on the file you just recorded and download itto your local album.

Check Alarm Information

  • “When the camera delecis a moving object, t wil push an alarm to you. You can view all alarm information in Messages on the homepage of the camera.
  • In Messages, the “View” icon of each alarm message can be used to eccess the alarm recording and playback video,

Add Monitoring Site
You can add a new site and name it and then camera can rotate to specified site automatically when you tap the added site.

Rotate the Camera

  • Tiltthe camera up, down, left, and right.
  • “Rotate 355″ horizontally and 90″vertcally to achieve 360-degree full coverage.

Troubleshooting

3. What causes the connection to fail?

cPlease make sure the camera is always plugged in normally. 2) Weak WFi signal may cause disconnection. It's recom- mended to place the camera within your Wifi signal range. Besides, the WiFi extender can also help to solve the problem. 3) Check if this camera only supports 2.4GHz wifl. If so, please select a 2.4GHz wifi hotspot to connect. 4) If methods above fail, please reset the camera by pressing and holding the power bution firmly enough until you hear the voice direction. You can refer to the direction video in our listing page for resetting.

Can | monitor the video of the camera in real time through the web browser?

Yes, you can view the real-time monitoring video in the web browser. The website of the United States is: ipc-us ismartlife.me, but note that the web browser does not support to playback video.

Can I turn off push alert notification

f 1 use a SD card to store video, do | need to clean it reqularly?

No. When the SD card is full, it will automatically overwrite the oldest videos to save new videos.

Can the camera be used normally without a SD card?

Yes. If there is no SD card, the camera will be used normally, except for the playback function. You can also purchase cloud storage services to automatically save recorded videos. But we recommend that it would be better to buy a SD card for Playback by yoursel.

How many people can watch the live stream at the same time?

There are up to 4 family members that can check the live stream simultaneously in Tuya App. And it s also support that you can share the access with up to 50 users. Note: To protect privacy, only the main user has permission to setup the camera.

Can this camera be connected on the dual-band wifi network supported by

both 2.4ghz and 5ghz?

There are two situations: 1) For cameras that support both 2.4GHz and 5GHz, the camera can be connected normally. 2) For cameras that only support 2.4ghz, please select 2.4 WiFi hotspot to connect.If there is only one WiFi hotspot in the network, please go to the router background to make simple settings and distinguish which WiFi hotspot belongs to 24GHz. If you have any problems, please feel free to contact us and we will reply to you as soon as possible. Thank you!
