SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read these instructions carefully and retain them for future use. If this product is passed to a third party, then these instructions must be included.

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons including the following:

• Read all the instructions before using the product.
• Do not put fingers or hands into the product.
• Do not use pure essential oils or homemade fragrances without water.

For North America:

Disconnect from the power supply before cleaning the product.

• The power cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the counter where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over.
• To disconnect, turn product off, then remove the plug from the power supply.
• Always unplug the product from the power supply immediately after using and before cleaning.
• Keep this product out of reach of children.
• Never drop or insert any object into the opening for mist nozzle / mist nozzle.
• Stop using this product if there is an unusual noise or smell.
• The product is only to be used with the recommended vaporizing medium. The use of other substances may give rise to a toxic or fire risk.
• Only essential oils/fluids meeting the national health requirements may be used.

For European Union:

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
• Unplug the appliance during filling and cleaning.
• Care should be taken when using the appliance due to the emission of hot water vapour.
• Use this appliance only with the provided power adapter (24 V ; 0.5 A).
• To prevent impermissible heating, do not cover the power adaptor and the appliance during use.
• The light source contained in this appliance may only be replaced by the manufacturer or his service agent or a similarly qualified person.

Before First Use

• Check the product for transport damages.
• Remove all the packing materials.
• Clean the product before first use.
• Before connecting the power adapter to the power supply, check that the power supply voltage and current rating corresponds with the power supply details shown on the power adapter rating label.

DANGER Risk of suffocation! Keep any packaging materials away from children – these materials are a potential source of danger, e.g. suffocation.

Operation

Filling the water tank

CAUTION Risk of electric shock!

Disconnect the product from the power supply before filling the water tank (J).

NOTICE Do not exceed the maximum tank capacity of 3.4 fl oz (100 ml).

NOTICE The product does not operate without any water in the water tank (J).

• Remove the plastic casing (B) and the tank cap (D).
• Fill the water tank (J) with cool distilled water to the water line (H).
• Put few drops of an essential oil or homemade fragrance (not provided) into the water.

CAUTION Risk of product damage! Do not fill water through the scented air outlet (A) / mist nozzle (C) without first removing the plastic housing (B)/ tank cap (D).

• Place the tank cap (D) on the water tank (J).
• Wipe the water tank (J) dry and place the plastic casing (B) back on the main body.

NOTICE

If the water level is too low, the product is switched off automatically. Refill the water tank (J).

NOTICE Use only 100% natural essential oil or homemade fragrances. Chemical fragrances or spices may cause malfunction.

Connecting the power adapter

• Connect the 3 mm plug of the power adapter (G) to the DC power input socket (E) on this product.
• Connect the power adapter to a household socket-outlet.

Operation

• To switch on the product and start diffusion, press the power button (F) once.
• To switch off the product, press the power button (F) once again.

Operation Modes

The following modes are available by pressing the Light/Mode button (K) when the product is operating:

• The LED lights switch on and change in the order: red, purple, blue, pink, white, green, and orange continuously.
• No-color diffusion mode: Press the Light/Mode button (K) once more. The product switches off all LED lights while continues to diffuse.

• Periodic diffusion mode: Press the light/mode button (K) for 2 seconds in any color mode. The product operates and pauses at alternate intervals (30 seconds).

NOTICE The LED light switches off automatically when the power button (F) is switched off.

Emptying water

• To empty the water tank, pour the remaining water from the side printed with “DRAIN SIDE”. Do not pour via the opening for mist nozzle (A) / mist nozzle (C).

NOTICE Do not keep water in the water tank (H) when the product is not in use.

Cleaning and Maintenance

CAUTION Risk of electric shock! To prevent electric shock, unplug the power adapter before cleaning.
CAUTION Risk of electric shock! During cleaning do not immerse the power adapter in water or other liquids. Never hold the power adapter under running water.

Cleaning

• Rinse the water tank (J) with 1 tablespoon of citric acid and max 3.4 fl oz (100 ml) of hot water 160 °F (70 °C).
• Let the solution sit for 5 minutes. Pour out the solution.
• Wipe the water tank (J) with a soft cloth. Avoid the ultrasonic plate (1) and clean it with a cotton bud.
• Wipe off spilled essential oil or homemade fragrance on the surface with a soft cloth.
• Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, metal or sharp utensils to clean the product.

NOTICE Do not use other acids, enzymes or detergents for cleaning, which may cause malfunction.

NOTICE Clean the water tank (J) every 3 days.

Storage

• Store the product in its original packaging in a dry area. Keep away from children and pets.

Maintenance

• Essential oil or homemade fragrance should not get in contact with the surface of the product.
