Important Safeguards
Read these instructions carefully and retain them for future use. If this
product is passed to a third party, then these instructions must be included.
When using the product, basic safety precautions should always be followed to
reduce the risk of injury including the following:
WARNING Risk of injury or death!
Serious or fatal crushing injuries can occur from product tipping over. To
prevent this product from tipping over install tip-over restraint provided.
CAUTION Risk of injury!
Product can tip over. Do not let children climb on or play with the product.
- For domestic use only. Do not use outdoors.
- This product must be assembled by an adult.
- Keep children and pets away while assembling the product.
- Donot let children climb on or play with the product.
- Always use the product on a firm, level ground.
- Donot use this product if any parts are missing, damaged, or worn.
- To avoid scratching the floor, assemble the product on a soft surface, such as a carpet.
- Regularly examine the product for wear and tear. Stop using the product at first sign of damage or if parts become detached.
- Assemble the product in a spacious area, preferably on a carpet, near the place where the product is to be located.
- Never exceed the maximum load capacity of each shelf.
- Load bottom shelves first. Put heaviest items on bottom of shelf only.
- Donot overload the product. Load the product evenly and place the heaviest items on the lower shelves.
- Do not set heavy objects on top of this product.
Before First Use
DANGER Risk of suffocation!
Keep any packaging materials away from children and pets — these materials are
a potential source of danger, e.g. suffocation.
- Remove all the packing materials.
- Discard the protective covers (K) placed between each shelf.
- Remove and review all components before assembly.
- Check the product for transport damages.
Installation
WARNING Risk of falling!
Take special precautions when working on heights, for example, while using
a ladder.
Use the right type of ladder and ensure it is structurally sound. Use the
ladder in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
For additional illustrated assembly steps, refer to the end of the written instructions.
- This product should be installed, maintained only by an experienced adult. If in doubt, consult a professional.
- One adult must install/assemble this product.
- Adjust the leveling feet on parts (C) to make sure the product is level after assembly.
- Before mounting, determine the suitable mounting location. The product must be fixed to a wooden or masonry/concrete wall using fasteners that are appropriate for the mounting surface. Do not install on drywalls, wall boards or thin plywood. The mounting surface must be capable of supporting the weight of the product.
- Do not drill into any pipes or power lines beneath the surface during mounting holes preparation. Use voltage/metal detector before drilling any holes to eliminate any such potential risks.
Cleaning and Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning
- Toclean the product, wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
- Toclean the wood top, use a wet sponge with hot water and mild dish soap. Rinse off any soapy residue with fresh hot water and allow the wood top to dry.
- Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, metal or sharp utensils to clean the product.
4.2 Maintenance
- Regularly check that all the components and fasteners are tightened.
Disposal
Dispose of the product according to local regulations. If in doubt, consult your local authorities.
