IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read these instructions carefully and retain them for future use. If this product is passed to a third party, then these instructions must be included.
When using electncal applances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the nsk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons including the following:

  • Keep power cords, drapery, furnishings or other combustibles at least 1 meter from the front of the appliance, and away from the sides or rear.
  • In order to avoid overheating. do not cover the heater. Do not place ob ects in contact with the heater.

  • The appliance must not be used if the glass panel is damaged.

CAUTION Risk of fire!

  • In order to avoid a hazard due to the inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut-out, this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is reqularty switched on and off by the utility.

CAUTION  Risk of burns!

  • Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable peoples are present.

This symbol indicates that in order to avoid overheatirg, the appliance should not be covered with clothing or other material.

  • This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of expenence and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction conceming use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

  • Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a sale way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.

  • The installation of the haater should be carried out by trained personnel. If, during reassembly of the heater, a part of the thermal insulation shows damage or deterioration, it should be replaced by an identical part.

  • Extreme caution is necessary when the appliance is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the appliance is left operating and unattended.

  • Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug, after the eppliance malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged by any manner.

  • This appliance is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas and similar indoor locations. Never locate the appliance where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.

  • Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the appliance.

  • This appliance has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint or flarmnmable liquids are used or stored.

  • Install and use this appliance only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury to persons.

  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarty qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

  • Connect to property grounded outlets only.

  • This product contains no user serviceable parts and requires little mainte1ance. Leave any servicing or repairs to qualified personnel only.

  • The LEDs contained in this product are nonreplaceable.

  • For UK only: All the electrical installations must be done according to BS 7671.

For wail installation:

  • Always unplug the appliance when not in use.
  • To disconnect the appliance, switch controls to off, then remove plug from outiet.
  • Connect the power plug to an easily reachable socket outlet so that in case of an emergency, the appliance can be unplugged immediately.
    Pull the power plug out of the socket outlet to disconnect the appliance from the voltage.

Battery Warnings

WARNING Risk of ingestion and suffocation! Keep the button cell batteries away from children.

Keep new and used battenes away from chedren. If you think batienes might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immedate medical attention.

Before First Use

DANGER Risk of suffocation!
∎ Keep any packaging matenals away from children — these matenais are a potential source of danger, e g. suffocation.

  • Remove all the packing matenals.
  • Remove and reviews al components before use.
  • Remove the protectwe sirp on the remote controls battery compartment
  • Check tne product for transport damages.
  • Before connecting the product to the power supply, chack that the pover supply voltage and current rating corresponds with the pover supply Getails shown on the croduct rating labe.

Installation Tips

WARNING
∎ Failure to install the product as instructed may result damage to the product and or may expose the user to the risk of fire, electric shock, serious injury cr death.

  • Ths product should be instalkd, mantained by an experienced adult. If in doubt, consutt a professional.
  • Before mounting. determine the suitable mounting location. The product must be fixed to a wooden or masonry/concrete wall using fasteners that are apprconate for the mounting surface.
  • Do not install on drywalls, wall boards or thin plywood. The mounting surface must be capable of supporting the weight of the product.
  • The product must be installec between 0.5 and 2.5 meters above the ground.
  • For best results, install the product out of diract sunlight.
  • To avoid reconstruction, instal the product in a proximity of property grounded socket outlet.
  • Do not dril into any pipes or power lines beneath the surface during mounting holes preperation. Use voltage/metal detector before driling any holes to eliminate any such potential risks.
  • The wall mounting bracket (E) is attached to the product when delivered. Remove the wall mounting bracket (E) before starting to install.

Operation

7.1 Switching on/off

  1. Connect the power cord with plug (F) to a suitable socket outlet.
  2. Set the on/off switch (C) to ‘I’ (product in standby). The product beeps and the standby indicator stays lit. The product is now in a standoy mode.
  3. Press the standby button (K) t0 switch on the product.
  4. To switch off the product, press the standby button (K) again.

NOTICE

  • In order to protect the product fom overheating, there is a 10 second delay when switching the heater on and off. This does not indicate mailunction.
  • There may be a trace of odor during the first few minutes of use, or after a period of storage. This is normal and quickly disappears.
  • If the product is not in use for a long period, set the on/off switch (C) to ‘0’ and remove the plug (F) from the socket outiet.

7.2 Setting day and time

  1. Press the set date/time button (Q), the corresponding day and SET indicator starts flashing.
  2. Quickly press the increase button (I) or decrease button (L) to select the day. then press the sat date/time (Q) to confirm. The hours indicator starts flashing.
  3. Quickly press the increase button (I) or decrease button (L) to select the hours, than press the set date/time (Q) to confirm. The minutes inchcator starts flashing.
  4. Quickly prees the increase button (I) or decrease button (L) to select the manutes, then press the set Gate/time (Q) to confirm. The day and time is now set.

NOTICE
The day and time can be also set by pressing and holding the timer button (M) on the control panel.

7.3 Setting temperature
NOTICE The product must be set to HEAT 1 or HEAT 2 for the heating function to work.

  • Press the temperature button (P) repeatedly until the desired temperature has been selected. Alternately, use buttons (I) and (L) to increase or decrease the temperature.
  • The temperature range is between 17 – 30 °C (G2 – 86 °F).
  • When the room reaches the set temperature, the heating function stops automatically.
  • If the product detects a drop in temperature, the heating function resumes automatically.

7.4 Changing power level

  • Press the power level button (J) to toggie between 2 heating modes (low and high).
  • The cormesponding heat indicator (HEAT 1 or HEAT 2) lights up on the control panel.
    Low level – HEAT 1| 700 W
    ---|---
    High level – HEAT 2| 1300 W
  • The approximete coverage with each heating mode:
    Low level – HEAT 1| 8 – 10 m²
    ---|---
    High level – HEAT 2| 10 – 20 m²

NOTICE
This product is fitted with a temperature limiting control. If the product reaches ao unsafe internal temperature of 115 °C, the product automatically switches off. To reset, unplug the product trom the socket outiat and wast 10 minutes before plugging it back in and switching on.

7.5 Changing flame brightness

  • Press the fame brightness button (N) repeatedty unt’ the desired brighiness level is selected.
  • The display (H) shows the code F1 – F5 to indicate the brightness level selected.

7.6 Setting open window detection function
The product monitors the temperature of the roorn once it reaches the set temperature. When in open window detection mode, and if the room temperature drops by 5°C or more within 10 minutes, the product automatically stops heating to conserve energy.

  1. Press and hold the flame brightness button (N) on the control panel to activate this feature.
  2. Quickly press the increase button (I) or decrease button (L) to  change the setting. The displey shows E1 to indicate function is on.
  3. To deactivate this feature, repeat previous step until the display shows E0 to indicate function is off.

7.7 Setting timer

  1. Press the timer button (M) to activate timer function. The TIMER/SET indicator starts flashing.
  2. Press the timer button (M) to skip through the days until you reach the desired day for setting. Each day which does not require timer function should be programmed as 00.00 for ON and OFF time.
  3. Once the desired day has been selected, press the increase button (I) or decrease button (L) to set the ON hours. Press the timer button (M) to continue.
  4. Press the increase button (I) cr decrease button (L) to set the ON minutes. Press the timer button (M) to continue.
  5. Press the increase button (I) cr dacrease button (L) to set the OFF hours. Press the timer button (M) to continue.
  6. Press the increase button (I) cr decrease button (L) to set the OFF minutes. Press the timer button (M) to continue.
  7. Press the standby button (K) fo exct timer setting function. The TIMER indicator stays &t to indicate the timer is active.

NOTICE To tum off timer function, press the timer button (M) once, the TIMER/SET indicator flashes, Press the increase button (I) or decrease button (L), until only SET indicator flashes, then press the standby button (K). The timer is now off.

7.8 Changing between Fahrenheit and Celsius
Press the Celsius/Fahrenhert button (O) to toggle between temperature in Fahrenheit or Celsius.

Changing the Battery

  1. Remove the battery holder from the remote control.
  2. Replace the used battery with a new CR2025 3V battery. The positive pole (+) must be pointing upwards.

Cleaning and Mainteance

WARNING Risk of electric shock!

  • To prevent esectnc shock, set tre on of switch (C) to ‘0’ and remove the plug (F) from the socket outlat.

9.1 Cleaning
NOTICE
Ciean the product regularly to prevent the build-up of hars dust or lint around the heating vents (G), as this may cause the outlet fo become biocked.

  • To clean tne product, wipe with a soft, slightly moist cloth.
  • Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, metal or sham utenslis t0 clean the product.
  • Do not Spray liquids directly onto any surfaces of the product.

9.2 Plug fuse replacement (for UK only)

  • Use a flat screwdriver to open the fuse companment cover.
  • Remove the fuse and replace with the same type (13 A, BS1367). Refit tne cover.

9.3 Maintenance

  • Any otner servicing than mentioned in this manual should be performed by a qualified service personnel.

Troubleshooting

Problem Solution
The product does not switch on. ● Chock if the plug is connected to the

socket outlet. Use voltage tester to verify if the socket outlet is powered.
● The product has overheated and the thermal safety device has activated. Snitch off the product and switch back on after 10 rnnutes.
For UK onty: Fuse in the plug is blown.| ● Use a flat screwdriver to open the fuse compartment cover Remote the fuse and replace with the same type (13 A, BS1362). Refit the cover.
The product switches off automatically.| ● The product has overheated and the thermal safety device has activated. Switch off the product and switch back on after 10 rninutes.
Flame on display panel does not move.| ● Flame motor faulty. Contact a qualified service personnel.
Remote control does not work.| ● Low battery. Choitige the battery.
● Standing too far from the product or an object is blocking the path. Move closer or to a clearer path.
● The product has not been switched on. Set the on/off switch (C) to ‘I’.
Dim or poor visible flame or crystals are not glowing.| ● The products LED lights are burnt out or wring is loose. Contact a qualified service personnel.
