Product Usage Instructions

Section 1: Ready to Work

  1. When using for the first time, follow Robot to observe and resolve any problems that may occur.
  2. Remove power cords and small objects from the floor that may entangle robot.
  3. Robot may climb on top of objects less than 0.59 in. / 15 mm in height. Remove these objects if possible.
  4. Keep robot away from wet areas.
  5. Keep robot away from spaces lower than 2.95 in. / 75 mm to prevent damage.
  6. Place physical barriers in front of the fireplaces and areas that may cause damage to the robot if it entered.

Section 2: Charging Base Setup

  • Place the charging base against the wall.
  • When the charging base connects to AC power, the LED light on the charging stand turns green.
  • Before use, make sure that the left and right side brushes are installed correctly.
  • Remove the foam block next to the bumper before using.

Section 3: Charging and Power

  • Always keep the charging base plugged in, otherwise, the robot will not automatically return.
  • Do not place any objects within 1.5 ft to the left/right and 5 ft to the front, and do not place any mirrors or other reflective objects in this area.
  • When the machine enters a low state, it automatically back to the charging base or you can manually put it on the charging base.
  • Before use, fully charge the robot. The LED indication on the robot flashes purple while charging and is solid blue when fully charged.
  • Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to switch on.
  • When using the robot for the first time, please manually place the machine on the charging stand and start it on the charging stand after the robot is fully charged.

Section 4: Routing Maintenance

Dust Box:

  1. Press and hold the dust box button to pull out the dust box backwards.
  2. Open the dust box and take out the garbage.

Filter:

  • Filter Gauze

  • HEPA Filter

Section 5: NGTeco Home App Setup

  1. Download the NGTeco Home App from Apple App Store or Google Play Store and register your account using your phone number or Email ID.
  2. Select the country and region, enter your email address, and click to accept the verification code.
  3. Input the verification code from email and set a password for your account.
  4. Turn on the power switch.
  5. Open the App and press + to add device or use the Add Device button.
  6. Input the password of your Wi-Fi.
  7. When the device enters into standby mode, press the two buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds until the indicator light flashes and robot prompts Wi-Fi lost. Please follow the APP instruction for re-connection.
  8. Connect to a stable Wi-Fi network by turning on the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi of your mobile phone.
  9. Click Add when the device is found.
  10. Connecting device.
  11. Add device successfully.
  12. Enter into the operation interface to control your robot.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Q: Can the robot climb over objects higher than 0.59 in. / 15 mm?

A: No, remove any objects higher than 0.59 in. / 15 mm to prevent damage to the robot.

Q: What should I do if the robot gets stuck?

  1. Remove power cords and small objects from the floor that may entangle robot.
  2. Robot may climb on top of objects less than 0.59 in. / 15 mm in height. Remove these objects if possible.
  3. Keep robot away from wet areas.
  4. Keep robot away from spaces lower than 2.95 in. / 75 mm to prevent robot from getting stuck. If necessary, place a physical barrier to block off the problem areas.
  5. To avoid tangling the robot, fold the tasselled edges of area carpets underneath. Cleaning very dark-colored high-pile carpets or carpets thicker than 0.86 in. / 22 mm as they may cause the robot to malfunction.
  6. Anti-drop sensors prevent the robot from tumbling downstairs and steep drops. They may work less effectively, if dirty or used on reflective / very dark-colored floors. It is recommended to place physical barriers to block off areas where robot may fall.

Download NGTeco Home App and Add Device

Step 1: Download the App and Register Your Account
Search for the NGTeco Home App in Apple App Store or Google Play Store and download the App to your mobile phone.
Open the NGTeco Home App and log in with your account. If you do not have an account, create an account with your phone number or Email ID.
