IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Read these instructions carefully and retain them for future use. If this product is passed to a third party, then these instructions must be included.
- When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons including the following
- This product should be installed and maintained by a qualified electrician in accordance with local wiring and building regulations.
- If you have any doubt about installation/use of this product, consult a qualified electrician.
- Switch off the power supply before the installation, maintenance or repair. We recommend to flip off the circuit breaker at the distribution board whilst work is in progress (turning off the light switch is not sufficient)
- Decide on an appropriate location for your product.
- Do not drill into any pipes or power lines beneath the surface during mounting holes preparation. Use voltage/metal detector.
- It is recommended to cut the hole slightly smaller than the size specified and file the hole until the recessed unit fits snugly
- Wiring diagram is for reference only. Always refer to the terminal markings for wiring. Ensure that all electrical connections are tight and that no lenos strands are loft out of the terminal hock
WARNING
- Take special precautions when working on heights, for example, while using a ladder. Use the right type of ladder and ensure it is structurally sound. Use the ladder in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

- This product is intended for household use only. It is not intended for commercial use.

Before First Use
- Check the product for transport damages.
- Remove all the packing materials.
- Before connecting the product to the power supply, check that the power supply voltage and current rating corresponds with the power supply details shown on the product rating label.

- This product is not suitable for covering with thermally insulating material.
- The external flexible cable or cord of this luminaire cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged, the luminaire must be destroyed.

- The light source contained in this luminaire shall only be replaced by the manufacturer or his service agent or a similar qualified person.
Cleaning and Maintenance

Cleaning
- To clean the product, wipe with a soft, slightly moist cloth
- Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, metal or sharp utensils to clean the product.
Maintenance
Any other servicing than mentioned in this manual should be performed by an
authorized service representative.
