Thank you for purchasing the Perfect Fit Adjustable Massage Bed. To learn how to use this product correctly, and to maximize your enjoyment and resulting health benefits, please read this Owner’s Manual carefully. Please keep your Owner’s Manual somewhere safe for future reference.

Safety Warnings

• Don’t allow children to touch moveable parts of this product.
• The appliance is only to be used with the power supply unit provided.
• Please disconnect from the power socket when not in use or before cleaning to avoid injury or damage to the product.
• Do not use accessories that are not recommended.
• Do not use this product outdoors.
• Do not use it for any other purpose except those listed in the manual.
• A maximum of 20 minutes of massage use is recommended.
• Do not use it if any part of the device is damaged.
• Do not drop anything onto this product.
• Do not use the massage function if intoxicated or feeling unwell.
• Know your own body – avoid using the massage function on a strength that may cause you injury.

Individuals who should not use this product

• Do not use the massage function if you are pregnant or have osteoporosis, heart disease, or a pacemaker.
• Children under 14 years old should be supervised when using this machine.
• Do not use if advised not to by your doctor.
• Do not use it if your body is wet e.g. following a bath or shower.
• Stop using if you feel unwell. If in serious discomfort consult your doctor.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

Safety

• Do not use it near an open fire or heater.
• Do not spill water or drinks in this machine.
• Do not use a wet cloth to clean the electric components such as the switch and plug.
• Stop using the product immediately if it malfunctions.

Do not use it if you have a pre-existing medical condition; unless consulted and advised ok by a doctor.

7 tips for better sleep

1. Make your bedroom a haven
   Your bedroom should be your sanctuary at the end of a busy day. One way to ensure it is a restful sleeping space is to keep your bedroom focused only on sleep and intimacy.

2. Choose quality bedding
   As a general rule, the higher the thread count, the softer the sheet. They may cost a little more but will pay dividends in greater comfort.

3. Install light dimmers
   Softer lighting can help your body and mind wind down for the night… and it’s more romantic.

4. Try a pleasant fragrance
   A bedroom with a pleasant aroma is a room you’ll enjoy being in. Subtle vanilla or lavender fragrance can help you relax.

5. Avoid electronic technology
   Bright screens on smartphones, laptops, tablets, and TVs emit blue light that our brains interpret as daylight, keeping us awake.

6. Avoid reminders of work
   Reading paperwork, checking emails, or reading textbooks in bed can keep the brain over-stimulated making it harder for us to switch off.

7. Keep your room dark and quiet
   Once you’re asleep, a dark, quiet room can ensure you keep sleeping until you’re ready to wake up naturally.

Your Perfect Fit Adjustable Massage Bed features a humanized design and requires minimal installation. All you need to do is install the bed legs following the steps below.
Screw all six legs into the underside of the bedframe (Image A). Hand-tighten only. Do not over-tighten.

Install the power cord by connecting the cord jack to the connection on the control box (Image B). Ensure the power cord is connected completely and securely.

Remote Control

Overview
All of the functions of the bed can be operated with remote control. The remote control comes with pre-programmed buttons that will be automatically adjusted when pressed, or you can manually control adjustments using the arrow buttons on the remote control. See (image C) for a complete list of remote control functions.

Remote Control Battery Installation
Remove the battery cover on the back of the remote control. Insert the AAA batteries (included).
Press the timer button and release
The 10 min LED light will flash once, indicating a vibration time of 10 minutes.
Press the timer button twice for a 20-minute vibrating time, and three times for a 30-minute vibration time.
NOTE:
Preset buttons will move the head and foot of the bed simultaneously.
To immediately stop the movement of the bed during transition press any remote control button.

Custom Programming Preset Buttons
The three buttons shown in (image D) can be custom-programmed to positions of your choosing. To program the remote preset buttons:

1. Adjust the bed to the desired position.
2. Press and hold for approximately three seconds until the LED lights start flashing.
3. Release and within the one-second press The LED lights will stop flashing and the selected button is updated to the new position.

NOTE:
The three buttons shown above are pre-programmed with the manufacturer’s suggested bed position. No programming is necessary by the purchaser unless modified bed positions are desired.
To Lock
Press and hold down both ‘head + head down arrow’ buttons simultaneously until the LEDs flash, the remote control will now be locked.

To Unlock
Press and hold down both ‘foot + foot down arrow’ buttons simultaneously until the LEDs flash, the remote control will now be unlocked.
You can enable automatic remote locking. This means the remote will automatically lock if it is not used for 5 minutes:

To turn on Auto Lock
Press and hold down both ‘head + foot down arrow’ buttons simultaneously until the LEDs flash, the remote control will now auto-lock after 5 minutes of no use.

To turn off Auto Unlock
Press and hold down both ‘foot + head down arrow’ buttons simultaneously until the LEDs flash, the auto lock feature will now be disabled.

In the locked status the beds adjustable features will not be able to be moved. The massage feature can still be operated.

Remote Control Frequency Settings
There are several different frequency settings for independent control of multiple adjustable beds in the same area. To control two beds simultaneously, connect both control boxes with the control box connecting cable. With the connecting cable installed, both remote controls will operate the bed simultaneously even if the remote controls are on different frequency settings.

To Set a Frequency

1. To adjust the frequency Settings remove the battery cover from the remote control and adjust the DIP switch to the desired channel (see image E). Wait until the LED lights on the remote turn off (if LED lights are on).
2. Plug the bed power supply into a power outlet.
3. Wait for a few seconds then press and hold the “Link Button” (see image G) on the bed base controller (located under the bed). The green “Link LED” (see image G) will turn on
4. When the green “Link LED” turns off releases the “Link Button”, the green “Link LED” will flash.
5. Within fifteen seconds of the green “Link LED” flashing, press and hold the “HEAD UP” button and the “FOOT UP” button simultaneously until the LED lights on the remote control start flashing (see image F). When flashing release the two buttons.
6. The LED lights will continue to flash until a successful sync with the control box is achieved. The frequency setting is now updated.
7. If the remote does not sync repeat the process and check the remote control Batteries.

Electric Component set up

Overview
The electronic components are pre-installed and no assembly is necessary. However, some settings and input locations are important for proper setup and functionality. (See images G & H) to become familiar with input, setting, and part locations.

Battery Backup

Overview
Important:
The backup battery is only to be used in case of a power outage. Batteries are not to be used for normal operation of the bed.
Backup Battery
Use two (2) 9-volt alkaline batteries only (not included). If a power outage occurs install the 9-volt batteries into the provided battery pack on the power cord (image I). The backup battery will not support the repeated movement for long periods of time. While using the backup battery it is recommended to move the head and foot of the bed independently rather than simultaneously. Do not use the “Flat” button to lower the bed. Do not use the massage motors when using the battery backup. If the remote control is missing the bed can be returned to the flat position by pressing and holding the emergency lower button located on the control box under the bed.
Remove the battery pack after power is restored as the system will continue to draw power from the battery, even if not in use.

Massage

Massage Function:
To activate the head massage function, press the “HEAD” button once, this will turn the head massage on at a soft intensity. Press the “HEAD” a second time to get the mid-intensity massage and a third time for the high-intensity head massage. To turn off the head massage, press the “HEAD” button again.
To activate the foot massage function, press the “FOOT” button once, this will turn the head massage on at the soft intensity. Press the “FOOT” a second time to get the mid-intensity massage and a third time for the high-intensity head massage. To turn off the head massage, press the “FOOT” button again.
To adjust the massage mode, press the massage mode button “ ”. The massage mode can be cycled through four vibration modes starting with a long pulse, followed by a medium pulse, then a short pulse, and finally continuous vibration.
Massage Timer:
Press the “TIMER” button to select a 10, 20, or 30-minute massage. Press a fourth time to turn the massage timer off. The blue light on the top of the remote control will flash once indicating which timer setting is activated.
The massage function will automatically turn off after 10 minutes if the timer is not set.
Allow the massaging system to rest for 30 minutes after the automatic massage shut off.

Installing Side Stoppers

*ONLY FOR SPLIT-KING, LONG SINGLE & SPLIT-QUEEN
By installing the side stoppers you will ensure that there is no sideways slippage of the mattress on the base of the bed.
Step 1
Select the two shortest side stoppers and locate the side holes

Step 2
Insert one side stopper on each ide of the bed base so that the horizontal bar is flush with the outside edge of the base.

Step 3
Ensure the end stopper is also in place at the foot of the bed before placing the mattress onto the base.

Functions Test

Overview
To ensure proper setup, use the remote and test all functions for 3 seconds. To control two beds simultaneously, connect both control boxes with the control box connecting cable. With the connecting cable installed, both remote controls will operate the bed even if the remote controls are on different frequency settings.
Important: Always return the base to the flat position when switching between preset options.

Trouble-Shooting

If one or more functions of the bed have stopped working:
Check under the bed base to verify the wired connections are secure and that there are no cords or bedding obstructing the movement of the base.
The remote control lights no longer illuminate / the remote won’t operate the bed functions:
Make sure the batteries are installed correctly or install three (3) new AAA batteries into the remote control. Ensure the frequency of the remote control is synced with the control box on the bed.
The remote control lights illuminate. However, no functions of the bed will operate:
Check to ensure the power cords are properly connected. Unplug the base for 1 hour to reset the electronic components. Plug the base into a different electrical outlet, or test the current outlet with another working appliance. A grounded electrical surge protector is recommended with the use of this product.

If your product becomes defective due to faulty material or workmanship within a period of 10 years from the date of purchase, we warrant doing the following:

• For New Zealand Consumers: We will replace the product with a new product, free of charge, or repair the product at our cost, at our discretion
• For Australian Consumers: Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Your warranty is subject to the following conditions:

• DO NOT operate the appliance with a damaged plug or cord, or if the unit has been dropped, damaged or dropped in water. To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not
  disassemble or attempt to repair the appliance on your own. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified electrician in order to avoid a hazard. Incorrect re-assembly or repair can cause a risk of electric shock or injury to persons when the appliance is used.

• The item has not been misused, abused, neglected, altered, modified, or repaired by anyone.

• The item has been subjected to fair wear and tear

• The item has not been used for trade, professional, or hire purposes.

• The item has not sustained damage through foreign objects, substances or accidents.

Your warranty does not cover;

• Components that are subject to natural wear and tear caused by normal use in accordance with operating instructions.
• Unauthorized/improper maintenance/handling or overload is excluded from this warranty.
• For guarantee claims, you will need to submit proof of purchase in the form of a valid receipt that displays the date and place of purchase.

This warranty does not replace but is in addition to your statutory rights.
This warranty does not apply to accessories supplied with the item.
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and may not be transferred.
Replacement items will be covered by the limited warranty for the balance of the warranty period from the date of the original purchase.
Please note:
Only the defective product or parts returned to the place of purchase will be replaced under this warranty.
