Keeping the tires properly inflated and maintained will help prevent flats and damage. Second, check all cables and cable housings for fraying, breaks, rust, or corrosion and replace if necessary. Lastly, inspect the brakes to make sure they are working properly. Additionally, check the brake pads for any damage as they will wear over time and eventually need replacement. If a replacement of the brake pads or any other part is needed, please contact customer support for replacement service. In general, it is recommended to make sure all nuts and bolts are taut and properly fastened to prevent injury and unnecessary wear and tear on your E-Bike.

ASSEMBLING, ADJUSTING YOUR WHEELSPEED ARIES E-BIKE
NOTE: Be careful not to position your fingers between the latch and the stem. Doing so may result in injury.

Installing the Front Wheel
For initial assembly, you will need to ask for someone’s help.

  • Step 1. Have someone hold the front wheel upright on the floor (fig.1).
  • Step 2. Lower the front fork onto the front wheel. The brake disc should go into the brake caliper in between the brake pads and the axle should enter the fork dropouts fully. (fig.2).
  • Step 3. Hold the quick release lever in line with the axle and tighten the thumb nut until the lever can stay in parallel to the floor without being held.Use the palm of your hand to close the lever fully(Quick release nut to be at the same end as the brake caliper)(fig.3).

Installing the pedals

Before installing the pedals, please check each for a small letter to indicate which side of the bike the pedal should be attached to. L   is for the left side while R is for the right side (fig.4). With the kickstand holding your E-Bike upright, screw the pedals onto the crank arms (fig.5) and tighten them with the included wrench.

Installing the Handlebar set

  1. Loosen the screw of the handlebar stem first, and then turn the handlebar stem forward,as shown in the following figure:WHEELSPEED-ARIES-27-5-Inch-Electric-Bike-fig-6

  3. Center the handlebars and adjust their angles(Ensure best control and grip of your bike when riding).
  4. Install back the handlebar fastener and tighten the screws.

Adjusting Seat Height

For better pedaling, safety, and overall comfort, positioning the seat at the right height is key. The rider’s leg length is used to determine the seat’s position. During pedaling, your hips should remain level while your legs shouldn’t suffer strain from over-extension. To determine the right seat height, sit on the E-Bike with one pedal at its lowest point and place the ball of your foot on the pedal. If your knee bends slightly at this position, the seat is at the right height. Additionally, when placing your heel on the pedal, your leg should be nearly straight First, open the clamp under the seat post. Pull the seat up or push it down to adjust height. Check to make sure the seat post is fully inserted into the frame and the head of the seat is parallel with the frame. Lastly, close the clamp to secure the seat in place (fig. 6).
