Product Usage Instructions

Start-up and Shutdown

To start the device, press and hold the Power button. The red indicator light will turn on indicating that the device is booting up. Note that the device will automatically shut down when the battery is low.

Video Mode

To switch to video mode, short press the Mode button. The upper left corner of the screen will display the video icon. Press the OK button to start recording a video. The camera icon will appear with a flashing red dot, indicating that the video is being recorded.

Photo Mode

To switch to photo mode, short press the Mode button. The upper left corner of the screen will display the camera icon. Press the OK button to take a photo. The screen will flash once, indicating that the photo has been captured.

Video / Photo Playback

To switch to playback mode, short press the Mode button. The upper left corner of the screen will display the playback icon. Use the up/down buttons to select the desired file and press OK to start playback.

Menu Setting

To enter the video setting state, press the Menu button. Use the up/down buttons to navigate through the menu options. Press OK to enter a specific setting. Use the menu button again to exit the menu.

Date and Time Setting

Press the Menu button twice to enter Date/Time settings. Press OK to enter the settings. Use the up/down buttons to switch between year/month/day/hour/minute/second values. Adjust the values as needed and press OK to confirm the changes.

FAQ

Q: What is the maximum supported memory card capacity?

A: The device supports memory cards up to 64GB in capacity. Please note that the memory card is not included with the product.

Q: How long can the device record without the car charger?

A: The device only has a small battery that can last for a few minutes without the car charger. It is recommended to always use the car charger for continuous recording.

Q: Can I remove the memory card while the device is on?

  • The device will record automatically when the car starts, then will turn off when the engine is turned off．
  • There is only a small battery in the driving recorder, which can only save the date/time and can last for a few minutes without the car charger.

• Menu Button
  Press this key to call up the menu.

• TF Card Slot

  •  The 64G memory card has been inserted into the card slot.
  • Hot plug is not supported. Always turn the device off before removing the TF card.

• OK Button

  • Video and photo confirmation button Video Mode, press this button to start the video, press the video button again to stop the video.
  • Photo Mode, press this button to shoot photos.

• Down Selection Button

• Mode Button

Video / photo Basic Operating Instructions

• The start-up and shutdown.

• Video Mode

Difficult Solution

• Video cannot be read:
  If some videos cannot be read, please download “VLC Player” or “KM Player”.

• Shoot a foggy image:
  Please tear off the lens film, and check whether the camera is dirt, finger print; into shooting before, use lens paper to wipe the lens.

• The device restarts frequently:
  Please use the original car charger provided by us.

• Night vision:
  The camera has night vision sensor, at night, only if any light, like the car front light or road light, the camera works great. It doesn’t mean the front camera can record without the light.

• Button does not work properly:
  Under the condition of recording, the button is useless.

• Why do I have to charge for 3 hours and the battery still does not work for more than 5 mins?
  Answer: There is only a very small polymer battery 150mAh in the camera. It can only hold the date and time. The small battery can adapt to higher temperatures and is safer and more stable.

• Can’t take photos，camera
  Check the TF card if there is enough space，or if locked.

• Video will automatically stop
  Because of the huge high-definition video data, please use high-speed TF card and SDHC compatible

• The pictures and video replay, “file error” prompt
  The error occurred while the TF card storage of data, according to the files are not complete，please use the “format” camera function to reformatting the TF card.

• The sky, water – shooting scene, the image is dark
  In the large contrast scene, it will affect the automatic exposure function of the camera, which can be adjusted by adjusting the “EV” value in the machine settings menu.

• Horizontal stripes – interference image
  This is due to the error of the “light source frequency”, please according to the local power supply frequency, set it to “50Hz” or “60Hz”.

• Crash
  Please press the reset button down after a short recovery restart. Note: Specific specification is based on the real product.
