CHASING 30125 Stealth Waterproof Remote Control with Screen

Introduction

Adopting high-definition image transmission technology, the CHASING waterproof remote controller with screen 1 is applied together with CHASING ROV to transmit high-definition underwater images, featuring an IP65 waterproof level, high-brightness screen, and long battery life. With the complete function keys of the remote controller, it supports the CHASING ROV to complete various motion control and camera operation settings within the maximum water depth communication distance. There are 5.8G and 2.4G two communication frequency bands of Wi-Fi available, which can be switched by users according to the interference of the environment.

• High-brightness touch display: the remote controller has a built-in 7.02-inch high-brightness touch screen, with a maximum brightness of up to 700cd/n1.
• Multiple network connection modes: the remote controller supports three network connection modes, including wireless Wi-Fi, USB port external 4G mobile network card, and wired network.
• Audio & video processing: the remote controller has a built-in loudspeaker, supporting a USB external microphone. It can play 4K video materials and play by connecting to an external display through an HDMI interface.
• Memory capacity: machine body memory: 32G, running memory: 4G.
• Operating environment: waterproof level: IP65, operating temperature: -l0°C – ss0c (14° F-131 ° F)
• Satellite navigation system: it supports GPS.

Part Name

1. Display: 7.02 inches, maximum brightness: 700cd/nl, resolution: 1920X 1200.
2. Left Control Stick: Default settings: (↑) Forward, (↓) Backward,(←) Turn left,(➔) Turn right. It can be changed in GOl application settings.
3. Right Control Stick: Default settings: (↑) Upward, (↓) Downward,(←) Traverse left,(➔) Traverse right. It can be changed in GOl application settings.
4. Lock/ Unlock Key: Lock and unlock the ROV. When the backlight is on, it is unlocked; Otherwise, it is locked.
5. Light Key: Floodlight brightness adjustment, with a cycle of OFF – Weak – Strong.
6. Return Key: Adjust the ROV posture, short press the key to return, and long press to switch coordinate system (geodetic coordinate system/ machine body coordinate system)
7. Power Key: A main switch of the remote controller, short press to turn off/ turn on the screen; Press and hold for 3S to enter the shutdown option; Press and hold for! Os to force power off and shut down.
8. Left Lever: It is used to control the ROV pitching angle.
9. Photo/Video Key: Long press to switch the Photo /Video mode, and short press to execute Photo or start/ end Video instruction under the current logic.
10. ROVlili: ROV 4-core port.
11. Internet Access: Access network.
12. USB-C: Remote controller charging; data transmission.
13. Right Lever: It is used to control the roll angle of the ROV and control the grabber claw.
14. Multi-function Key: For control accessories.
15. Rear Lever: It is used to control the clamping motion of a single joint grabber claw.
16. Support: It is used to support the remote controller.

Basic Operation of Remote Controller

**ON & OFF

**

Turn on/off the remote controller in the following steps

1. ON: press the “Power” key and hold for 3s to turn on the remote controller.
2. OFF: after using, press the “Power” key and hold for 3s to pop up the “Shutdown” option, and select “OK” to turn off the remote controller.
3. Force Shutdown: press the “Power” key and hold for 10 seconds to force the power off and shut down.

ROV/ROV Control

Control the ROV as following steps(When the remote controller is delivered, the default control mode is Japanese manipulator. In this manual, we will take the Japanese manipulator as an example to introduce the control mode of this remote controller, and users are allowed to switch the mode in CHASING GOl APP)

1. Connect one end of the tether cable connector to the ROV, with the other end connecting to the “ROV port” (port 10) of the remote controller.
2. Long press the “Power” key (key 7) and hold for 3s to start, with three self-test sounds by ROV.
3. Enter the “CHASING GOl APP” home page, short press the “Lock/ Unlock” key (key 4), and control the ROV posture after unlocking.
4. Short press the “Return” key (key 6) for one-key return setting;
5. Use the “Left Control Stick” (stick 2) to move forward and backward, and turn left and right to operate;
6. Use the “Right Control Stick” (stick 3) to move upward and downward, and traverse left and right to operate;
7. Use the “Light” key (key 5) to adjust the light brightness. Short press for one time, the blue light flashes, with low brightness; press again, the blue light is on, with high brightness; press again, the blue light is off, the light is off, and cycle in turn.
8. Use the “Left Lever” (lever 8) for pitching operation;
9. Use the “Left Lever” (lever 8) for pitching operation;
10. Use the “Lock/ Unlock” key (key4) to stop/ start the machine motor;
11. After using, shutdown the remote controller and disconnect the cable connector;

Grabber Claw Control

• Mode 1: After the grabber claw is mounted, control the clamping motion of the single joint grabber claw through the “Rear Lever” (lever 15);
• Mode 2: After the grabber claw is mounted, long press the “Multi-function” key (key 14), and when the icon of the grabber claw appears in CHASING GOl APP, control the clamping motion of single joint grabber claw through the “Right Lever” (lever 13);

Charging

Charge the handle as follows

• Mode 1:
  Charge the remote controller through a Type-C connector (connector 12). It is recommended to use a PD charger with a specification of 15V/3A that complies with the FCC/CE standards and takes about three hours to fully charge.

• Mode 2:
  Connect the 4-core plug of the CHASING ROV matching charger to the ROV port (port 10). It supports three specifications: 12.6V/3A, 25V/3A, and 25.2V/8A, and takes about three hours to fully charge.

Auto Shutdown
In order to save power, when the remote controller is not connected to the ROV and not charged, after five minutes of screen off, a prompt tone will sound every two seconds, and the remote controller will automatically shut down after it keeps sounding 10 times.

System Upgrade

1. Mode 1: when the network is connected, the system will push upgrade information automatically. When users click to enter the upgrade interface to confirm the upgrade, the system will be upgraded.
2. Mode 2: upgrade manually from “Settings” – “System” – “Advanced” – “System Update”.

Precautions

1. Please unplug the charger in time after the remote controller is charged.
2. Please take care to use the remote controller to avoid extrusion force and bumping, so as to avoid damaging the screen or other parts.
3. Please stay away from magnetic substances (such as magnets, large speakers, etc.) when using the remote controller, otherwise, its control stick may be disturbed by the magnetic field.
4. CHASING will bear no responsibility for the authority and information security involved in third-party applications and will provide no technical support for related compatibility issues. In case of adverse effects on the use and experience of CHASING waterproof remote controller with screen 1 caused by installing a third-party application, please try to uninstall the application or restore the factory settings.
5. CHASING WSRC is impossibly resistant to splash, water, and dust permanently. Its protective performance may deteriorate due to daily wear and tear. Therefore, please do not recharge it when it is wetted. Any damage caused by liquid immersion is excluded from the warranty scope.
