WITH FEED HUB, POWERED BY THE MOULTRIE MOBILE APP, YOU CAN:
- See your remaining feed level and battery levels
- Remotely set and adjust feed times, days and settings
- Receive when your battery or feed levels are low, or when a jam/clog is detected
- Dispense feed on demand – from anywhere
COMPATIBILITY
The Feed Hub Kit is a quick-lock kit that fits onto standard Moultrie hoppers.
The included adapter allows you to attach it to other barrels or buckets for a
custom setup.

DOWNLOAD THE APP
Download the Moultrie Mobile app to set up and install Feed Hub, see remaining
feed and battery levels, remotely set feed times, and dispense feed on demand.
An active Moultrie Mobile subscription is required to use Feed Hub.

GETTING STARTED
BEFORE INSTALLATION
Gather all included Feed Hub components and supplies, and go to your feeder
location. Ensure your hopper is empty. Take appropriate safety measures when
handling feeder and feeder kit components.

INSTALLATION
- Download the Moultrie Mobile App
- Sign up for an account, or log in
- Go to Devices > Activate
- To activate, scan the QR code on the Feed Hub Timer
- Select a plan
- Watch Installation Video after selecting your Feeder
- Follow the step-by-step instructions in the app to complete installation
AFTER INSTALLATION
Once installed, check the Moultrie Mobile app for the battery levels,
remaining feed level, and signal. Make sure to turn the Feed Hub Timer ON.
YOU WILL NEED
ADDITIONAL TOOLS:

You will need a Tape Measure if you’re using a custom feeder setup.
MOTOR BATTERY RECOMMENDATIONS
- Use a 6V, 5aH Battery
- For best performance, use 6V Moultrie Rechargeable Battery
AA BATTERY RECOMMENDATIONS
- Use Moultrie or Energizer batteries
- Use alkaline or lithium AA batteries
- Do not use rechargeable AAs for the Feed Level Detector
- Do not mix battery brands and types
- Do not mix old and new batteries
TURN ON YOUR TIMER
Slide the power switch to ON. Timer will attempt to connect to the Feed Level
Detector and then the Timer will attempt a cellular connection.
FEED LEVEL DETECTOR
Flashes green when attempting to connect.
FEED LEVEL DETECTOR
Turns solid green upon successful connection.
FEED LEVEL DETECTOR
Turns off after unsuccessful connection.
CONNECTING
Flashes yellow as the timer connects.
CONNECTED
Turns green upon successful connection.
NOT CONNECTED
Turns red if connection is not found.
PRESSING THE TEST BUTTON
After pressing the test button, Feed Level Detector LED will Step away at this
time. Spin plate will spin for 8 seconds. Timer will then attempt Feed Level
Detector and cellular connection.
MANAGE FEED HUB + SETTINGS
You can view your feeder levels and adjust settings remotely, at any time,
using the Moultrie Mobile app.
Go to Devices to see current Feed Hub information.
From Devices, tap on your Feed Hub to make changes:
- Adjust feed times
- Feed On Demand
- View a Health Check
- See device and plan details

TROUBLESHOOTING
FEED HUB TIMER WON’T CONNECT
If the red NOT CONNECTED light is on:
- Make sure Feed Hub has an active subscription with Moultrie Mobile.
- Move the feeder to a location with a stronger signal.
WHY DOES MY CELL PHONE HAVE SIGNAL, BUT MY FEED HUB DOESN’T?
Cell phone providers use roaming to connect to other towers, so there may be
signal differences between your cell phone and the device.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I CANCEL MY PLAN?
After installing Feed Hub, here’s what to expect if you cancel your Moultrie
Mobile plan:
- Your feeder will continue to run based on your most recent feeder times.
- You will not be able to view remaining feed or battery levels, update feed times, or dispense feed on demand in the app.
- You can upgrade or reactivate your plan any time.
