Explanation of Control Panel

Explanation of Control Panel (5)

Power Button
Once the Air Fryer is plugged into the mains supply, press the Power On/Off Button (19) to turn on the Health Grill and air Fryer. It will then enter into ‘Standby Mode’, the LED on the Power On/Off Button (19) will illuminate and the LED Display (12) will turn on. Whilst the Health Grill & Air Fryer is in use pressing the Power On/Off Button (19) will stop the current mode and will turn off the unit. Once the cooking process has been completed, the Health Grill & Air Fryer will ‘beep’ 5 times and the LED Display (12) will show “END”, only the LED of the Power On/Off Button (19) will illuminate. The Heating element will cease, however, the fan motor will continue to operate for approximately 60 seconds before the unit will enter into ‘Switch Off’ mode.

Time Settings
Using the left/right arrows of the Time Settings (18) to manually adjust the cooking time in any of the pre-set cooking functions, Left arrow will decrease the time and the Right arrow will increase the time in increments of 1 minute dependent on the function mode. Press and hold the left/right arrows down for more than 2 seconds to decrease/increase the temperature in increments of 5 minutes dependent on the function mode.

Temperature Settings
Using the left/right arrows of the Temperature Settings (17) to manually adjust the cooking temperature in any of the pre-set cooking functions, the Left arrow will decrease the temperature and the Right arrow will increase the temperature in increments of 5°C accordingly dependent on the function mode. Press and hold the left/right arrows down for more than 2 seconds to decrease/increase the temperature in increments of 10°C accordingly depending on the function mode. When using the ‘Grill’ function mode there are 4 temperature pre-sets (Low, Med, High, Max) pressing the left/right arrows will cycle through the temperature pre-sets.

Start/Stop Button
After selecting the desired temperature and time for your chosen recipe or following the pre-set cooking function, press the Start/Stop Button (15) to begin the cooking process. During the cooking process pressing the Start/Stop Button (15) will pause the Health Grill & Air Fryer, and the LED Display (12) will show “—-“. Press the Start/Stop Button (15) to commence cooking. To change the function during either the preheat or cooking process, press the Start/Stop Button (15) and then select the correct function from the Pre-Set Cooking Functions (16) below.

Standby Mode
The Health Grill & Air Fryer will automatically go into ‘Standby Mode’ after a period of inactivity, if no function is selected or if not partway through the preheat/cooking process for a period of 1 minute approximately. The Health Grill & Air Fryer will also automatically go into ‘Standby Mode’ after a period of inactivity, or if no interaction is made with the control panel for a period of 5 minutes approximately. To wake the Health Grill & Air Fryer at any point simply press any button or function on the Control Panel (5).

  • To adjust the LED Display (12) to display °C or °F, whilst in ‘Standby Mode’ press both the right arrow of the Temperature Settings (17) and the ‘Broil’ function from the Pre-Set Cooking Functions (16) simultaneously. LED Display (12) will show either “F” or “C”, to confirm continue to press and hold for approximately 3 seconds.
  • During the preheating and cooking process, the temperature can be adjusted in the same way as the above.

Preheat Indicator
When using the Pre-Set Cooking Functions (16) below, all functions with the exception of both the ‘Dehydrate’ and ‘Broil’ will automatically preheat prior to the addition of ingredients and the cooking process. During the ‘Preheat’ stage the Preheat indicator will illuminate, time and temperature cannot be adjusted during this process.

  • Preheating will take around 5 minutes depending on function and temperature selected.

If the preheat process is not required, simply press the chosen function again to cancel and the ‘Add Food’ Indicator should now illuminate to indicate ingredients can be added and the cooking process can begin.

Add food Indicator
When using the Pre-Set Cooking Functions (16) below, the Health Grill & Air Fryer will ‘beep’ 5 times and the ‘Add Food’ Indicator will illuminate to show that ingredients can be added to the Health Grill & Air Fryer and the cooking process can begin. Open the Hood (3) and place the ingredients to be cooked onto the chosen cooking plate for that function and close the Hood (3). Once closed cooking process will begin and the timer will count down from the selected time. During the cooking process if the Hood (3) is lifted the Health Grill & Air Fryer will pause the chosen function until Hood (3) is replaced.

  • If the Hood (3) is not lifted to add food when the above indicator illuminates, the Health Grill & Air Fryer will continue to preheat.
  • If after 30 minutes the Hood (3) has not been lifted to add food, the Health Grill & Air Fryer will automatically switch off.

Pre-Set Cooking Functions

Grill

  1. Place the Non-Stick Inner Pot (10) into the unit with the indent on the pot aligned with the rear bump on the main unit.
  2. Place the Non-Stick Grill Plate (9) into the Non-Stick Inner Pot (10).
  3. Press the ‘Grill’ function from the Pre-Set Cooking Functions (16) on the Control Panel (5).

The default temperature is High & 205°C and the default cooking time is 20 minutes.

  1. To adjust the temperature for the chosen recipe, either press the ‘Grill’ again from the Pre-Set Cooking Functions (16) or the Temperature Settings (17) to cycle through the 4 temperature settings, Low (150°C), Med (175°C), High (205°C), and Max (230°C).
  2. To adjust the time press the Time Settings (18) to adjust the cooking time from 1 minute to 30 minutes in 1minute increments.
  3. Press the Start/Stop Button (15) to begin preheating.
  4. The ‘Preheat’ will illuminate whilst the Health Grill & Air Fryer preheats.
  5. When preheating is complete, the light will turn off and ‘beep’ 5 times.
  6. The ‘Add Food’ on the Additional Functions for Recipes (13) will illuminate.
  7. Lift the Hood (3) and place ingredients to be cooked onto the Non-Stick Grill Plate (9), once the Hood (3) is closed the cooking process will begin and the timer will begin counting down on the LED Display (12).
  8. During cooking you can lift the Hood (3) to check on contents, the timer will pause and then will automatically resume once the Hood (3) has been closed.
  9. When the cooking time has completed, the Health Grill & Air Fryer will ‘beep’ 5 times and the LED Display (12) will show ‘END’.
  10. Keep the Hood (3) open when cooked food has been removed to allow the unit to cool down.

When using Grill Functions (14) you will need to select the temperature settings. Below are the recommended temperatures and suggested ingredients.

Air Crisp

  1. Place the Non-Stick Inner Pot (10) in the Health Grill &
    Air Fryer and place the Non-Stick Crisper Basket (6) on top and close the Hood (3).

  2. Press the ‘Air Crisp’ function from the Pre-Set Cooking
    Functions (16) on the Control Panel (5).
    The default temperature settings is 205⁰C and the default time is 18 min.

  3. To adjust the temperature for the chosen recipe, press the Temperature Settings (17) to adjust the temperature setting from 50°C to 230°C.

  4. To adjust the time press the Time Settings (18) to adjust the cooking time from 1 minute to 60 minutes in 1minute increments.

  5. Press the Start/Stop Button (15) to begin preheating.
    The ‘Preheat’ will illuminate whilst the Health Grill & Air Fryer preheats.

  6. When preheating is complete, the light will turn off and ‘beep’ 5 times.

  7. The ‘Add Food’ on the Additional Functions for Recipes (13) will illuminate.

  8. Lift the Hood (3) and place ingredients to be cooked onto the Non-Stick Grill Plate (9), once the Hood (3) is closed the cooking process will begin and the timer will begin counting down on the LED Display (12).

  9. For best results we recommend shaking ingredients frequently, using the Silicone Food Tongs (7) when tossing your food or oven gloves to shake the Non-Stick Crisper Basket (6). The timer will pause when the Hood (3) is opened and then automatically resume after it is closed.

Roast

  1. Place the Non-Stick Inner Pot (10) in the Health Grill &
  2. Air the Fryer place the Non-Stick Crisper Basket (6) on top and close the Hood (3).
  3. Press the ‘Roast’ function from the Pre-Set Cooking
  4. Functions (16) on the Control Panel (5).
  5. The default temperature settings are 205⁰C and the default time is 25 min.
  6. To adjust the temperature for the chosen recipe, press the Temperature Settings (17) to adjust the temperature setting from 50°C to 220°C.
  7. To adjust the time press the Time Settings (18) to adjust the cooking time from 1 minute to 240 minutes in 1minute increments.
  8. Press the Start/Stop Button (15) to begin preheating.
  9. The ‘Preheat’ will illuminate whilst the Health Grill & Air Fryer preheats.
  10. When preheating is complete, the light will turn off and ‘beep’ 5 times.
  11. The ‘Add Food’ on the Additional Functions for Recipes (13) will illuminate.
  12. Lift the Hood (3) and place ingredients to be cooked onto the Non-Stick Grill Plate (9), once the Hood (3) is closed the cooking process will begin and the timer will begin counting down on the LED Display (12).

Bake

  1. Place the Non-Stick Inner Pot (10) in the Health Grill and Air Fryer.
  2. Press the ‘Bake’ function from the Pre-Set Cooking
  3. Functions (16) on the Control Panel (5).
  4. The default temperature setting is 175⁰C and the default time is 25 min.
  5. To adjust the temperature for the chosen recipe, press the Temperature Settings (17) to adjust the temperature setting from 50°C to 205°C.
  6. To adjust the time press the Time Settings (18) to adjust the cooking time from 1 minute to 120 minutes in 1minute increments.
  7. Press the Start/Stop Button (15) to begin preheating.
  8. The ‘Preheat’ will illuminate whilst the Health Grill & Air Fryer preheats.
  9. When preheating is complete, the light will turn off and ‘beep’ 5 times.
  10. The ‘Add Food’ on the Additional Functions for Recipes (13) will illuminate.
  11. Lift the Hood (3) and place ingredients to be cooked onto the Non-Stick Inner Pot (10), once the Hood (3) is closed the cooking process will begin and the timer will begin counting down on the LED Display (12).

Dehydrate

  1. Place the Non-Stick Inner Pot (10) in the Health Grill and Air Fryer.
  2. Press the ‘Dehydrate’ function from the Pre-Set
  3. Cooking Functions (16) on the Control Panel (5).
  4. The default temperature setting is 50⁰C and the default time is 360 min.
  5. To adjust the temperature for the chosen recipe, press the Temperature Settings (17) to adjust the temperature setting from 50°C to 90°C.
  6. To adjust the time press the Time Settings (18) to adjust the cooking time from 30 minutes to 24 hours in 1minute increments.
  7. Press the Start/Stop Button (15) to begin the dehydration cooking process.
  8. The Health Grill & Air Fryer does not preheat in the ‘Dehydrate’ function.

Pizza

  1. Place the Non-Stick Inner Pot (10) in the Health Grill and air Fryer.
  2. Place the Non-Stick Grill Plate (9) into the Non-Stick Inner Pot (10).
  3. Press the ‘Pizza’ function from the Pre-Set Cooking
  4. Functions (16) on the Control Panel (5).
  5. The default temperature setting is 195⁰C and the default time is 25 min.
  6. To adjust the temperature for the chosen recipe, press the Temperature Settings (17) to adjust the temperature setting from 50°C to 205°C.
  7. To adjust the time press the Time Settings (18) to adjust the cooking time from 1 minute to 90 minutes in 1minute increments.
  8. Press the Start/Stop Button (15) to begin preheating.
  9. The ‘Preheat’ will illuminate whilst the Health Grill & Air Fryer preheats.
  10. When preheating is complete, the light will turn off and ‘beep’ 5 times.
  11. The ‘Add Food’ on the Additional Functions for Recipes (13) will illuminate.
  12. Lift the Hood (3) and place ingredients to be cooked onto the Non-Stick Inner Pot (10), once the Hood (3) is closed the cooking process will begin and the timer will begin counting down on the LED Display (12).

Broil

  1. Place the Non-Stick Inner Pot (10) in the Health Grill and Air Fryer.
  2. Press the ‘Broil’ function from the Pre-Set Cooking
  3. Functions (16) on the Control Panel (5).
  4. The default temperature setting is 205⁰C and the default time is 10 min.
  5. To adjust the temperature for the chosen recipe, press the Temperature Settings (17) to adjust the temperature setting from 50°C to 230°C.
  6. To adjust the time press the Time Settings (18) to adjust the cooking time from 1 minute to 60 minutes in 1minute increments.
  7. Press the Start/Stop Button (15) to begin preheating.
  8. The Health Grill & Air Fryer does not preheat in the ‘Broil’ function.

Manual

  1. Place the Non-Stick Inner Pot (10), Non-Stick Crisper Basket (6), and/or Non-Stick Grill Plate (9) in the Health Grill and air Fryer.
  2. Press the ‘Manual’ function from the Pre-Set Cooking Functions (16) on the Control Panel (5).
  3. The default temperature setting is 50⁰C and the default time is 1 min.
  4. To adjust the temperature for the chosen recipe, press the Temperature Settings (17) to adjust the temperature setting from 50°C to 230°C.
  5. To adjust the time press the Time Settings (18) to adjust the cooking time from 1 minute to 120 minutes in 1minute increments.
  6. Press the Start/Stop Button (15) to begin preheating.
  7. The ‘Preheat’ will illuminate whilst the Health Grill & Air Fryer preheats.
  8. When preheating is complete, the light will turn off and ‘beep’ 5 times.
  9. The ‘Add Food’ on the Additional Functions for Recipes (13) will illuminate.
  10. Lift the Hood (3) and place ingredients to be cooked onto the Non-Stick Inner Pot (10), once the Hood (3) is closed the cooking process will begin and the timer will begin counting down on the LED Display (12).

Instructions for use

  1. Place the Health Grill and air Fryer on a solid, level, heat-resistant surface clear of all obstructions as described above.

  2. Insert the mains plug into a suitable socket outlet.
    WARNING! Take care whilst handling the Crisper Basket, Grill Plate, and Inner Pot the use of Oven Gloves is recommended.

  3. Ensure that the Splatter Shield (8) is securely in place on the underside of the Hood (3).

  4. The Splatter Shield (8) keeps the heating element clean. Failure to use it will result in oil build-up on the heating element and can cause smoking.
    To remove the Splatter Shield (8), to clean;

  * Pull Locking System (arrow 1)
  * Release Splatter Shield (8) (arrow 2)  

To install the Splatter Shield (8);

  * Gently push the Splatter Shield (8) into the underside of the Hood (3).
  * Insert the back of the Splatter Shield (8) into the tab on the Hood (3).
  * Push the Splatter Shield (8) upwards, until it clicks into place.

Cleaning and Maintenance of your Health Grill & Air Fryer

  • Always unplug the Health Grill and air Fryer from the mains supply and allow it to cool before cleaning.
  • DO NOT clean any part of the Health Grill & Air Fryer in a dishwasher – NOT dishwasher safe.
  • DO NOT submerge any part of the main body, the mains cable or the mains plug in water or any other liquids.
  • Wipe excess oil from the Cooking Accessories with a kitchen roll or similar.
  • Wipe the main body of the Health Grill & Air Fryer clean using a soft, damp cloth.
  • The Cooking Accessories can be washed in warm soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly before reusing.
  • Never clean any part of the Health Grill and air Fryer with harsh or abrasive cleaners.
  • After cleaning, allow the product to thoroughly dry before re-use.
  • For burnt-on food or stubborn marks, you can use the Cleaning Brush (11) supplied.

If your appliance is supplied with a non-rewireable plug fitted to the mains lead and should the fuse need replacing, you must use an ASTA-approved one (conforming to BS 1362 of the same rating). Asian Spicy Fries

  1. Potato x4 / 600g
  2. Oil 2 teaspoons
  3. Salt 1 teaspoon
  4. Pepper powder 1 teaspoon
  5. Shallot powder 1 teaspoon
  6. Red chili powder ½ teaspoon
  • Peel potatoes and cut into strips;
  • Soak potato strips in salt water for at least 20 minutes, and then dry with kitchen paper.
  • Mix shallot, salt and pepper, garlic powder/ garlic oil, red chili powder, stir in the potato strips.
  • Set the temperature to 180 degrees and time to 5 minutes to preheat the air fryer.
  • Place the potato strips into the Fryer Drawer, insert the drawer back into the Air fryer, and set the timer for 20-25 minutes – depending on the number of fries or until the fries are golden brown. For best results, turn the fries by shaking the Fryer Drawer in the middle of cooking.

Golden Chicken Wings

  1. Chicken wings 500g
  2. Garlic x2
  3. Ginger powder 2 teaspoon
  4. Cumin powder 1 teaspoon
  5. Black pepper powder 1 teaspoon
  6. Sweet chili sauce 100 mg
  • Set the temperature to 200 degrees and the timer to 5 minutes to preheat the air fryer.
  • Stir garlic, ginger powder, cumin powder, spicy black pepper, and a little salt together, and then coat the chicken wings.
  • Allow the chicken wings to stand for 20 minutes.
  • Place the chicken wings into the fryer drawer evenly, set the time for 18-22 minutes and the temperature for 200 degrees.

Fried chicken nuggets

  1. Fresh chicken nuggets 500g
  2. Eggs x3
  3. Flour 1 cup
  4. Olive oil 1 spoon
  5. White pepper powder 1 teaspoon
  • Set the temperature to 200 degrees and the time to 5 minutes to preheat the air fryer.
  • Pat the chicken for 5 minutes with a knife blade.
  • Stir eggs, flour, olive oil, white pepper and a little salt together, and then coat the chicken nuggets.
  • Allow the nuggets to stand for 20 minutes.
  • Place the chicken nuggets into the fryer drawer evenly, set the time for 15-20 minutes and the temperature for 200 degrees.

Fried squid

  1. Squid (Frozen) 500g
  2. Oil 2 tablespoon
  3. Salt 1 teaspoon
  4. Cumin powder 1 teaspoon
  5. Chicken powder 1 teaspoon
  6. Pepper powder 1 teaspoon
  • Set the temperature to 200 degrees and the timer to 5 minutes to preheat the air fryer.
  • Stir seasoning together, and then coat the squid and allow it to stand for 20 minutes.
  • Place the squid into the fryer drawer, set the temperature to 200 degrees, and time for 12- 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Spicy Shrimp

  1. Unfrozen prawns x10
  2. Oil 2 tsp
  3. Garlic finely chopped x1
  4. Black pepper 1 tsp
  5. Chili powder 1 tsp
  6. Sweet chili sauce 100mg
  • Set the temperature to 200 degrees and the timer to 5 minutes to preheat the air fryer.
  • Rinse the prawns.
  • Apply a thin layer of salad oil to the prawns, place the prawns into the fryer drawer, and set the temperature to 200 degrees and time for 5-8 minutes or until a golden crunchy layer has for med.
