Please read these instructions a nd warnings before using this product, and save this manual for future use. In addition, be sure to read the warnings on the batteries.

CAUTION
To avoid personal injury and property damage please follow the below instructions:

  1. Panasonic Ni-MH rechargeable batteries are recommended to be used in this charger.
  2. Do not use non-rechargeable batteries in this charger.
  3. Do not open or disassemble the charger.
  4. Do not allow the charger to get wet or expose the charger to water or other liquids.
  5. Only use the charger indoors and in a dry location.
  6. Do not use the charger if the plug or batteries are damaged.
  7. Do not use or expose the charger to direct sunlight.

  1. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards invo lved.
  2. Children shall not play with the appliance.
  3. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

2 or 4 batteries should be charged simultaneously (fig 4). The batteries need to be charged next to each other. If there is a gap between the batteries then the indicator will blink and the batteries will not charge (fig 5). It is not possible to charge one battery in isolation (fig 6). Panasonic BQ-CC61E

  1. Observe the correct polarity by matching the positive (+) and negative (-) on the batteries to the positive (+) and negative (-) on the charger. Insert the batteries from the negative (-) end first (fig 2)
  2. ® Connect the USB type micro-B plug of the included USB cable to the USB type micro-B input terminal of the Charger. (fig 3) ® Connect the USB type A plug of the included USB cable to the USB terminal of a USB Power adapter. (fig 3) © Plug the USB Power adapter into a standard AC outlet. (fig 3)
  3. The charger will indicate that charging is conducted through the indicator lights being lit. If the indicator does not light or blinks
  4. Make sure that the batteries are inserted correctly and that proper contact is made with each terminal
  5. Check that the USB cable and USB power adaptor are correctly inserted
  6. Check that the batteries are not damaged and are rechargeable
  7. After charging time, shown in Table 1 disconnect the included USB cable and remove the batteries.
    For your own safety, this charger has an automatic cut off function after approximately 1 0 hours. However the charging times shown in Table 1 are recommended for longer battery life.

MAINTENANCE, CARE AND CLEANING

  • Unplug charger from AC outlet.
  • Clean with a dry cloth to remove dirt and grime.
