We recommend you insert the SFP/SFP+ before starting versa services.
a. In case of speed change in SFPs, we recommend you enable/disable the vni interface.
b. If there is a change in the remote end configuration, we recommend you enable/disable the vni interface on the SteelConnect EX side. -
For 1G SFPs, turn off the auto negotiation at the remote end.
• If the far-end is Cisco, configure speed to 1000 in the interface configuration. interface Ethernet 1/25 speed 1000
• If the far-end is Juniper, configure no-auto negotiation in the interface configuration.
