Troubleshooting
- When powering on, the display is incomplete or the device doesn’t turn on.
- This may be due to frequent specific operations or accidental actions causing disruption to the internal programs. A single formatting process can restore functionality. Prior to formatting, please upload any useful files stored within the device. Formatting will result in the complete deletion of all content within the device.
- Unresponsive keys when powering on.
- Upon startup, long press the【 】button until the device is fully activated before using other buttons.
- The device powers off a few seconds after being turned on or doesn’t turn on.
- Please ensure that the battery has sufficient charge.
- Why do some songs display inaccurate playtimes during playback?
- Currently, files compressed using the VBR (Variable Bit Rate) format might display inaccurate playtimes while playing, but playback itself is normal. You can resolve the playtime display issue by re-compressing the file using a fixed bit rate.
- No sound during file playback.
- The volume might be too low. Adjust the volume using the volume up and volume down buttons. It’s also possible that the file being played itself contains no audio information.
- Unresponsive key operations or abnormal display.
- Power off the device and then power it on again to allow for self-repair.
- Inaccurate time display or mismatched playback content after sudden power recovery during recording.
- This occurs due to errors during recovery, particularly in cases with a high level of fragmented memory. The device may mistake some fragments for recording files. Avoid abrupt power interruptions during recording and regularly format the memory.
- Why does available storage space decrease over time?
- Prolonged usage and deletion operations can result in memory fragmentation. By connecting to a computer, backing up data, and performing a complete format, you can reclaim all storage space.
- Why does the total memory displayed in the player not match the specified capacity?
- This is primarily because a portion of the memory is used for program storage and font libraries required for text display. Therefore, the total memory you see is slightly less than the specified capacity, and this is normal.
- Occasionally, plugging or unplugging the player causes abnormalities on the computer end.
- Cause of the issue and troubleshooting: This is mainly caused by USB disconnections during file transfers. We recommend users to avoid disconnecting during file transfers or formatting processes to prevent disruptions on the computer end.
- Some MP3 songs cannot be played properly in the player or the player cannot turn on.
- Cause of the issue and troubleshooting: Strictly speaking, MP3 refers to music files compressed using the MPEG I Layer3 standard. Most MP3 songs are in this format, although earlier there were MP3 songs compressed using the MPEG I Layer1 and MPEG I Layer2 standards. Our player supports various file formats but currently cannot be compatible with MP3 songs compressed using MPEG I Layer1 or Layer2, or a mixture of multiple standards. When encountering MP3 song formats that the player cannot support, you can choose one of the following measures to resolve the issue:
- Delete incompatible songs from the player to ensure normal operation.
- Compress the songs yourself using software, choosing the MPEG I Layer3 encoding method.
- Pressing the recording button doesn’t initiate recording, or the recording suddenly stops with the display showing “Memory Full!”
- This indicates that the internal storage is full. You need to delete unnecessary files or connect the device to a computer to back up data before deleting or formatting. This will allow you to resume recording.
- Unable to connect properly with the computer
- The computer connection cable is not properly connected.
- Use the data cable provided with the device.
