Step #1 – Locate the wires from the Baja Designs Light.
If you are upgrading from any existing light, you will need to cut off the
connector -Cut the wire as close to the connector as possible. Wire colors
from Baja Designs XL light: White= 12V + Black= Ground Green= Dim 20%
(connected to ground -dim. not connected -full power)
Step #2 – Crimp the wires.
You will need the proper hand tool to crimp the terminals onto the wires. For
the WHITE and BLACK wires, strip about_” of insulation off the wires. Add the
seal and then the Pin-style terminal. Crimp once at the bare wire to the
terminal and again at the seal. The GREEN wire should already have a female
bullet-style terminal installed. *Optional -Add a 4″ piece of 20 AWG wire and
a male bullet terminal to the BLACK wire from the Baja Designs Light (see Fig.
8) in position #4.
Step #3 – Add the connector.
The connector is a 4-pin connector use two of the positions: #1 and #4 for the
WHITE and BLACK wires and insert the black plug into #2 and #3 (see Fig. B)
Install the wires shown and you will hear a “click” once they are fully
seated. Pull back on the wires to check that they are properly installed.
Install the connector lock (yellow) into the connector body (black) by gently
pushing in (see Fig. A).
Step #4- Connect the light and test.
Plug in the male connector from the Baja Designs light to the female connector
on the OEM wiring harness. If you are using a Dim Switch, connect the bullet-
style connectors to the GREEN and BLACK wires. Start the motorcycle and turn
the headlight”ON’: Check that everything is working as it should.

What should I do if my light doesn't turn on?
Double-check all connections to ensure they are secure. Verify that the wires are correctly crimped and seated in the connector. Also, ensure that the ground wire is properly connected.

This guide is specifically designed for 2024+ Husqvarna FE/TE models. For other models, please refer to the specific wiring instructions provided by the manufacturer.
