Product Usage Instructions
Mount Your Camera
Before installation, make sure the ceiling is strong enough to hold the
camera. Please prepare hardware accessories separately such as drill bit. The
following takes ceiling mount as an example.
- Locate the drilling position by the base plate, and use a 6mm drill bit to drill 30 mm-depth guide holes on the ceiling.
- Knock the plastic anchors into the guide holes, and fix the base plate onto the ceiling with ST3.5 screws.
- Attach the camera to the base plate, and rotate the camera anticlockwise until it is blocked.
Startup
Connect one end of the power adapter to the power interface, and the other
end to power supply to start up the camera. When the LED flashes red, it means
the camera started up successfully. Then connect the camera to your network.
NOTE! Do not use the camera in a humid environment. Please protect the camera from liquid of any kind.
Add Camera to App
NOTE! The camera can be added only on 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. It is
recommended to sign up for an account before adding the camera. To add the
camera without an account, please view tutorial
here.
- Download Uniarch: Scan the QR code below (or search Uniarch in app stores) to download and install the Uniarch app.
- Signup and login: Sign up for an account and log in. If you already have an account, log in directly.
- Add device: Tap Add Wi-Fi Device, select “The camera is waiting to be connected”, and tap Next.
- Prepare: Tap to scan the register code on the quick guide or on the camera, and enter the Wi-Fi password.

Mount Your Camera

Scan QR code
Open the Uniarch app, tap Add Device > Scan, and scan the QR code on the camera body or on the quick guide, then follow the app wizard to add the camera. -
Add Wi-Fi device
NOTE!
- The following operations may be subject to change due to the upgrade of the app. If you find the descriptions inapplicable, please follow the in-app instructions.
- Please connect your mobile phone to the Wi-Fi in advance, and keep the mobile phone close to the camera.
- Do not use the network interface on your camera (if available); otherwise, Wi-Fi connection may fail.

Tap Add Wi-Fi Device, select The camera is waiting to be connected, and tap Next.

Tap to scan the register code on the quick guide or on the camera, and enter the Wi-Fi password.

Option 1 : Connect Automatically: Tap Connect Automatically. A page as shown below appears. A success message appears when the camera is added successfully. If this option does not work, try option 2.

Option 2 : Connect Manually: Tap Connect Manually, follow on-screen instructions to scan the QR code with the camera, and then complete the remaining operations.

(Optional) To share the camera with others, tap in the upper right corner, tap Share, enter the accounts you want to share with, set valid period and permissions, and then tap Share.
(Optional) Add Camera to NVR
Connect the camera to your NVR through LAN, then follow these steps to add
the camera to your NVR.
- Right-click in the preview window, click Menu > Camera > Camera.
- Click Custom Add, enter the camera’s IP address and other information.
- Check camera status. If is lit, the camera is online. If grayed out, place the mouse cursor on the icon to view failure information. Click the edit button to modify camera information.
NOTE!
- You can also click to add an IP device.
- To search devices in a specified network segment, click Search Segment.
(Optional) Web Access
Connect your camera and PC through LAN, then follow these steps to access
your camera through the Web:
- Open your Internet Explorer, enter the camera’s IP address (192.168.1.13 by default) in the address bar and then press Enter to open the login page.
- Enter the username and password (admin/123456 by default) and then click Login.
NOTE!
- DHCP is enabled by default. If a DHCP server is used in your network, your camera may be assigned an IP address, and you need to use the assigned IP address to log in.
- You may need to install a plug-in at your first login (close all browsers during installation). Please follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation and then open the browser again to log in.
- The default password is intended only for your first login . To ensure security, please change the password after your first login. You are strongly recommended to set a strong password of at least nine characters including all three elements: digits, letters and special characters.

The following are necessary measures for the network security of your device:
- Change default password and set strong password: You are strongly recommended to change the default password after your first login and set a strong password of at least nine characters including all three elements: digits, letters and special characters.

The following are recommendations for enhancing network security of your device:
- Change password regularly: Change your device password on a regular basis and keep the password safe. Make sure only the authorized user can log in to the device.

- Disable UPnP: When UPnP is enabled, the router will automatically map internal ports, and the system will automatically forward port data, which results in the risks of data leakage. Therefore, it is recommended to disable UPnP if HTTP and TCP port mapping have been enabled manually on your router.
- SNMP: Disable SNMP if you do not use it. If you do use it, then SNMPv3 is recommended.

Safety Warnings
